Flopzilla and CardRunnersEV are two different programs.

Flopzilla does not allow suit selection in the preflop matrix because it treats hands like they work in real life; filtering for flushdraws and such is done postflop.

You can add/remove the blue filters in front of top pair/middle pair/flushdraw/etc by clicking on their name.
To activate the filters, use the big "Filter" button at the bottom of the "Statistics" section.

The statistics for top pair/middle pair/flushdraw/etc will now only contain starting hands that pass through at least one of the filters.

CardRunnersEV is only available for Windows, although some people seem to get it running with crossover software. There's no plans for a Mac release.

Hey scylla,
checking now new version of crEV. It looks very nice!

So now I am checking scripts. I wrote tiny script that it generates boards till villain hits board more than 60%. Everything is cool. But it would be great if it would be able to loop that for 100 boards and create log of:
[Board [action X (checkdown in my case) - xx percents]. Something like that.
I would be able to do similar things with graphs but i cant graph boards i guess
thnx.

Hey Scylla, Small bug noticed. Whenever I try to remove negative ev hands in the third decision point by using ALT-D it does not seem to work. So far as I have noticed this only seems to occur in the third decision point. All other ALT commands work here just ALT-D is failing. The software is brilliant btw.
<edit> oh yeah I am using beta 2.8.3

I can't seem to replicate this.
Could you send a savefile please?
Maybe I don't correctly understand what you mean.

I'll keep it in mind, but for the moment I can't think of a clear, multi-purpose function that would help out here.

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for other ADVANCED CREV users in order to establish a tight community dedicated to this wonderful application, where we can exchange ideas, trees and strategies in a forum setting. Interested parties need to be already established long time expert users of the program. Ideally you would be playing NLH (midstakes or higher), but other game formats and stakes are welcome too as long as you have an extensive CardrunnersEV background. Feel free to PM me.

File sent to support. Thanks for looking into it. Maybe just a newbie error. Today when I tried to replicate it worked for node 3 and failed for node 2. But only in one particular tree. Anyway thanks for the time.

I haven't received anything.
Could you double-check please if you've sent it.
If so, then it appears that your e-mail is blocked somehow.
In that case, please mail the backup adres crev_flopzilla @ hotmail.com

Just after I sent I noticed that you must have received the original. I received the response. Thank you.

Hey,
few quick Ideas:
1) Various editors could save coordinates of last close. For example I have larger monitor and now those dialogs appear in upper left corner all the time. Also it looks like that various dialogs have different coordinates to pop up (at least preflop range editor and condition editor)

2) Didn't find possibility to add Backdoor straight draw or gutshot.
quick example:

7d6d vs KK on
Jc6s5d Has almost 27% equity
Jc6s2d Has just 22.42% equity.

If problem is lack of space then there is space in the left of Straight opeions where checkbox "Backdoor" could be placed.

These windows generally open based on the location where you clicked.

A backdoor straight option would need quite a few options to futher specifiy what type of backdoor straight you're looking at. The entire system of options and sub-options would be very confusing.

On a Jc6s5d board any hand with an 9,8,7,4,3 or 2 is a one card backdoor straight draw, however each has its own unique added value. I would need to make up a category for each; also, the user would need to understand what all those categories I came up with meant.

The easiest way to actually solve this, as far as I can see it, is to use the holecards section and select '6' under values; and any other cards you would find that make the cut as well. There's just too many categories and sub-categories of backdoor straight draws for a menu-based version to be of practical use. At least, that's the way I see it.

Thnx for response. It is OK to do that in your way when we know exact run out However if we will be using that for unknown board textures it will not work

That's true, but when working with unknown boards there's just so many variables that working with backdoor straight draws is just a bridge too far anyway (imho).

It's a new system.
It prevents users from constantly having to open and close the editting menu, one condition at a time.

Your conditions are now listed in the lower left of the menu.
By pressing Space or the Add new condition to list button at the bottom of the menu you can add a new condition.
To change the order of the conditions, drag and drop them in the list.
To delete on, left-click it to select it and then press Del.
To edit a condition in the list, left-click it to select it.

If you need any help on how this or any other menu works, turn on Help->Display hints in menus. You'll get popups of everything you mouse over.

There´s no such a menu you are telling me. Can you show me with a screenshot? I searched it everywhere!

Oh, in that case I asume you're talking about the preflop menu?
That has also changed.
You no longer need to add conditions with separate weights separately.
You use the new weight system to assign the weights within one menu.
To assign a weight to a starting hand, select it in the upper right (small blue buttons 1 through 5) and then click everything you want to attach that weight to. Use the slider to set the value for the weight.

I've made a tree, it's heads up on the flop, on the turn the EQ's are 50% and 38%, on the river 62% and 30%. Why don't the EQ's add up to 100%?
