In GTO+ only the flop and possibly turn solution are stored.
So it's not possible to quickly check this.
Ah, that makes sense. It's something Pio offers, but Pio stores the entire solution in RAM, so the memory requirements are pretty huge even for simple browsing. I think it's a good trade-off to not have this feature in exchange for lower memory requirements. Thanks for the answer.

Hey Scylla,

I was trying to solve a BvB database, but since the RAM requirements might have been exceeded, I decided to solve each flop separately and then merge them. I was wondering, when merging, what does the 'use default weights' option do? It was 163 flops from the subset, so I tried building the database using the default weights as well as the weights from the 163 flops subset, and there are some slight differences in a lot of places. Obviously I'll use the weights for the 163 subset for my database, but what weights does 'default weights' imply?

Default weights means that, in order to account for suit switching, a mono flop has a weight of 4, an unpaired rainbow flop has a weight of 24, a 2 flush flop has a weight of 12, etc.

The case was the following: there were a couple of AXX boards with different frequencies but the average values were exactly the same as for the first board (for every line (check, different betsizes ans so on) as if only the first board would have been considered in the averaging process. So it seem like a calculation error to me.
I would need to see a savefile.
So if you can send one to support, I'll take a look at it.

But under what circumstances is this option one that we'd like to use? It doesn't make sense to me where I'd wanna use the default option.

In any spot where you don't know which weights to attach. Attaching default weights will typically be a reasonable approximation (unless you're working with a subset that has been specifically designed for a certain purpose).

I couldn't find it at the moment, but when I do I will send it to you. Thanks for the great support!

Hey Scylla,

I have solved a new database and saved it using the v132 64 bit version of GTO+.
When I try to open the file it says "Unexpected file format." and GTO+ does not open.
Reinstalling/Repairing GTO+ did not change anything. I only get this error message for this particular GTO+ file, which (by chance?) is the only file that I have solved using the new GTO+ version v132.

Is there an easy way to create / export ranges and move them back and forth between GTO+/flopzilla/eqholdem? What about taking ranges from another program such as monker and importing them?

Why does solver recommended to raise 97 with a negative ev, instead of just fold a hand?

In the context of using GTO+, is a dedicated server any different from a cloud instance? Would you recommend one option over the other?

Can you try recreating the file, and solve it again?
If the issue persists, then please send the file to support.

I don't have any personal experience with this, so I can unfortunately not provide an answer here.

Most likely the solution has not fully converged.
You can use the "Resolve" icon to solve to a lower dEV.
Also, please upgrade to v132.
If the issues persists, then please send a savefile to support.

Hey Scylla,

A very minor feature suggestion: Some people have asked for a way to store pot, stack size and rake settings. The current store option only allows us to set a default option, but not multiple saved profiles. You could consider adding an option beside store named 'Choose stack/pot/rake profile' which would open a drop-down list, and rename the existing 'Store' option as 'Store current settings' which would open a dialog box with space to enter the name for the profile.

Ok, I will consider it for future releases.

Yo scylla,

So I have multiple sims opened and I want to run them at the same time cause I will not be at my PC. How will this prioritise the threads of the CPU? Will it distribute equal threads to each sim or use all threads for the first sim and then all for the second and so on. Also will the RAM stack up for all the sims togehter if I run them all?

It's probably easier to store all files that you want to process into a single directory.
Then, use a single instance, and use the "Folder" feature to process all files in that directory.

Hey Scylla, just a suggestion i have for "Play against the solution". Most of the time we run the sims till around 0.50-0.25% dEV, so, of course, it's never fully converged and a lot of the time an action is taken < 5% which would be 0 (or close to 0) if we let it running for a longer time. However when we play against the solution it gives those very tiny frequencies as if it was correct, so would be possible to add something like a button which we can set a threshold (i.e. if an action is taken 5% or less we can consider as a mistake) for an action to be considered wrong.

Hi,

can you point to the variance calculation formula in CREV, please? Do you have it somewhere explained? Or if not can you just briefly explain how CREV calculates variance. Thanks

For this we use the standard deviation in the possible EV outcomes.

Hello, is it any way when i create a tree, and then edit it manually in some spots to save it somehow? Cause if you want to change something later and you click on build tree all the things you did manually are lost. (The changes i try to are the stacks, pot and ranges)

Hi Scylla, is there a way to make a node lock to all the flops in the database?
Say you want to make oop cbet entire range (one size) on a subset of flops.
If it is possible, is it also possible on the ip side? Oop don't donk, then ip cbet entire range.
Obviously with same ranges, same stacks and same tree lines.
Thank you.
