haha, **** me to tears! So easy. In the older versions, I thought I did a shift and wheel scroll, but maybe that was flopzilla. I thought I was able to increase the size of everything in the window without enlarging the whole window. No worries, this is fine.

It works like that in FlopzillaPro.

If you only want to know the solution for the edited turn/river, then you can use the re-solve icon (see the screenshot below). If you also want to update the flop solution, then the solver will indeed need to be run again.

Re: CardRunnersEV

How do I lock a specific combo to be 75% bet and 25% checked?

Re: CardRunnersEV

Nevermind, I always forget this one, but I found it in the end...
Regarding locking: are there any plans to add more locking possibilities as has already been disscused here. I would like to lock only some combos and also possibly lock a whole strategy or lock all fututre decisions of one player starting at selected node. Both are very usefull to study exploitative play and to check how much EV we possible gain by simplifing our strategy.

Re: CardRunnersEV

scylla,

What is the calculation for the percentage type raises?

For instance: OOP x and IP bets, OOP check-raises 75%.

I input the following:

Pot: 7.5

OOP checks

IP bets 3.75

OOP x/r 75%.

What is the equation for the percentage?

I have thought about pot size raises, pot sized bets, etc. but cannot equate what GTO+ has come up with.

Thanks.

When desiging the editor, we have spent several weeks looking at this, but it turned out to be very complex to work with. This is because editing a hand, and setting whether or not it should be locked, requires separate clicks (just because you have edited a hand does not mean that you want it locked, and just because you have not edited a hand does not mean that you don't want it locked; it's a separate operation). It turned out to be very difficult to work with, while not adding enough value. So for this reason, at the very least for the moment, we have decided to leave it out, and focus on other features.

The pot is 7.5.
IP bets 3.75, OOP calls.
This makes the pot 7.5 + 2 * 3.75 = 15.

Now, on top of just calling, OOP makes an additional raise of 75% pot.
75% of 15 is 11.25.
So, when calling 3.75 and raising an additional 11.25, OOP will raise to 3.75+11.25=15.

Scylla, what's the difference between the go all in and add all in betsizing option in the advanced tab? Thanks.

With "Add all-in" an all-in will be added to any actions that are already present.
With "Go all-in" any other actions will be removed, and the player will only go all-in.

This is basically already possible.
For this, store all the files that you want solved into a single directory.
After that, click on the "Folder" icon and process all files in that directory.
See the screenshot below.

It would be nice if we could specify raises not only as percentages, but also in "3x" format like PIO does. Many people think of first bets in percentage of pot, but raises are more commonly described as multiple of the previous bet/raise. I was coaching some lowstakes players last week and they were confused by those X% raises.

It also has some advantages for tree building, because something like 60% raise is very different sizing against 33% bet or 100% bet and I often have to edit the tree and reset the sizes in different lines. This "3x" would simplify this in some cases.

This is already possible! You can use 3x or anything else instead of the percentage.

I completly missed the 3x option, thought it should be % or chip amount, thanks!

Already had two crashes today, both happened when I was editing some tree form a database I created earlier. Seems like it crashes when I use the geometric betsize option, but not always. Anybody else having problems with that?

Are you referring to beta v127? The options for geometric bet sizes in the editor are a new addition, so it's not unthinkable that we overlooked something. I will do some additional testing tomorrow.

Yeah v127, but I couldnt reproduce the problem after retsrting my PC, so might be on my end. Will mail you if it happens again.
I like v127 a lot, 0 to exclude a line is simple and very helpfull and mose-over size to display pot% is also nice.

Choosing number of bets for geometric betsizing is also very good idea, I would just like to be able to do this during the tree building. Maybe some option to use geometric betsizings instead of the default betsizings - like writing G in the default sizing box and the tree is build with geometric sizings for every blank betbox. And then we might possibly edit in trree builder to add different number of geometric bets in some lines.

Ok, I will consider it for future releases.

Re: CardRunnersEV

Just wanted to say I love the new history feature you've added to play against the solution. It's a great way to identify situations I didn't know I was playing poorly, then when working on leaks it's easy to track any progress I'm making in specific situations (or not!).

Re: CardRunnersEV

Apologies if this has been asked already but GTO+ is not using 6 of 16GB RAM.

Is there anyway to increase this to make use of more?

If you have 16GB of RAM on your system, then typically 6GB will be taken up by other processes (most noticably Windows itself). So the only alternative here would be to either build smaller trees (stick to single bet sizes on the turn/river; this will not significantly affect the quality of the solution, while making your trees smaller and solve faster), or to add more RAM to your computer.
