There's a new update that was recently released, so you might want to try updating to it.
Go here for download: http://www.cardrunnersev.com/download.html
The last time I checked on virustotal, 55 out of 55 virus scanners considered it safe, so with any luck Avira and Panda Gold will agree.

will this work with more than one?
Multiway trees tend to get pretty large very fast, so from a practical point of view you should be able to do this, but only if you keep the postflop play somewhat simplified. Building some huge tree that takes play on an unknown flop+turn+river into account is probably not going to work. Regarding implied odds, all future actions are always taken into account into the calculations, so there's no problems there.

Thank you.
The current setup does not allow for full trials, however, the trial system will be changed shortly to a variant where the only limitation is the flop that you can select. So maybe that will work better for you.

It's probably better if you mail support for this.

That file is not particularly important.
You can just delete it.

hey,

idk if this feature already exists(if it does please let me know) but I think it'd be great if there was like a note button that would pull up a simple integrated notepad. When I make a tree and after I analyze it I like to write down what I learned, how I got to the conclusions etc. and I'd be nice if I could wrote it in a notepad that would save with the tree so when I wanna go over that decision tree next time I can open it and refresh my memory.

Best
For this press Alt+N.
Or double-click on the yellow note icon in the upper left of the interface.

It's also possible to add a note to a decision or action.
To do this, mouse over this decision/action and press Alt+N.

Hello Syclla,
Im studying donk betting spots from the BB on the flop. If im building a tree do i have to input a 3betting range pre for the big blind or can I just input the hands im planning on calling an open with. leave out the 3betting range by folding everything else?

Thanks

Dom

Hello Scylla, but why CREV in a same scenario on a same hand running 2 same basic ev runs gives me 2 radically different equity result, the first was 29% the second run gave me 42%?
We are talking about of a differnce of 13% of equity, this is not acetable imho.
(merge mc and math is off because is not an hu hand)
(number of simulation set on 1.000.000)
(I ve tried with an other free equity calculator and it gives everytime the same equity conversely to CREV)

Honestly at first sight I feel a bit sad and confused about these differences, hope there is a solution for this.

It's probably easier if you mail support with a savefile for this.
Without seeing a tree I don't really know the situation.

If you're only looking for the donk bets on the flop, then all that matters is the line where you reach this flop. You can just leave out any other lines, given that the only thing you're doing is setting up the flop ranges.

Hi Scylla. I just wanted to make sure that all of your video's on your youtube channel are up to date, because I assume some software changes have accured since some of these vid's.
For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9-MJvBdEeo

Thank you.

HI,
Just one more question.
here is a tree that I made:

The Idea Is that I want to calculate the overall ev for both of these decision branches as a whole to try to determine which path is best. can I do this with a determined river card and get it to calculate the turn decisions with out that information?. What about without determining the river? Is this even possible, and if so how accurate will it be? will It need to use the monty carlo engine?

Also, let's say I want to make a giant and elaborate tree that starts with a preflop decision, and covers all the possibilities in future streets against a player with certain tendencies to determine the value of the pre flop decision/ decisions. Would this be possible with your software?
Thanks a lot for your help, I think I am really gaining a lot from this... It's a brilliant product.

This video still applies.
In a preflop hand, a player's first decision determines his starting range.
I'll go over all the videos shortly though and add annotations in case anything has changed.

I think you can actually use the equilibrium solver to do a lot of the work for you here. You can just use the tree wizard to auto-build a tree for you, fill in whichever play you feel is relevant and let the solver fill in the rest. I can't really tell from your screenshot though, but please go here for instructional videos on the solver: http://www.cardrunnersev.com/equilibrium.html. If you have further questions then please mail a savefile to support.

Building a huge tree, starting preflop and working on an unknown flop+turn+river may be a bit much. I would recommend just sticking to known flops. Using the tree wizard and the solver should make the analysis rather straightforward.

The green arrow appears when all players are all-in.
So in the screenshot MP had a stack of 4075 and just went all-in.
After SB calls the hand goes to showdown.

New version seems a bit buggy btw.. The hand range grid often appears weirdly when I try to edit a range after running a sim and sometimes I cannot deselect hands in the grid.. also there are colored boxes that appear around certain hands which I've never seen before and I don't know what the colors mean. Where can I find info about that? Thanks

Unfortunately the text block does not seem to load for me. However, judging from your description this is a tree where the flop is known. If the flop is known then preflop data is not calculated. This is because the preflop data isn't really relevant if the flop is known. After all, the preflop calculations would be performed knowing what the flop was going to be. Due to this data not being relevant, time is saved in the calculations by leaving them out.

Should you want this data anyhow, then please turn ON "Engine->Merge data from both engines". Now the monte carlo engine will perform the calculations for you.

I'm not aware of any bugs in the latest version. Could you show a screenshot please? It's not entirely clear to me which grid you're referring to. Also, could you send a savefile to support so that I can try to replicate the issue?
