Here I've simplified the tree, added a specific turn and river, and ran 1 million trials and still get the same problem with the numbers.

Equity is just equity. It basically means the chance that you'll win the hand. In Monte Carlo you can measure it by running a large number of simulations and checking to see how often you win. The math engine enumerates all possible matchups instead.

Here I've simplified the tree, added a specific turn and river, and ran 1 million trials and still get the same problem with the numbers.

It's still way too complex to figure out manually. I can do it manually for a much simpler spot though. See the savefile below.

I've set rake to zero. UTG's hand has been set to "all hands" so that there's no card removal that needs to be taken into account. Also, all conditions have been removed and everyone just takes their actions with "all hands".

Button has 56.6% equity versus BB and UTG.
This is the equity for the calculations for the main pot of 111.5.

After the main pot has been calculated Button's equity versus BB is 66%.

That makes the EV in the main pot for Button 56.6%*111.5=63.1.

And the EV for the side pot versus BB is 66%*80-34%*80=25.6

This makes the total EV 88.7.

Oh I get it now, the side pot makes it so that BTN's call has more EV with less equity. Thanks for educating me.

sometimes when the tree is quite big and im at the botom of it i have to scroll up and see what the board was (sometimes i forget whet it was exactly) so it would be nice i put it somehere to see it constantly lets say in the bottom left corner where "calculate EV" Clear" ... buttons are

Ok, I'll see what I can do.

one more question is it possible to somehow make w script which solves a tree for a flop then computes EV and saves to the file and then chenges thr flop (a particular one) and repeats ? (same ranges same betsizes just different flop) couse to be pretty precise for a single raised pots with 4 bets on the flop it takes more then an hour, would be cool to solve few trees over night and have saved files with ranges...

Help out a noob plz.

I'm trying to construct cold calling vs 3b strategy for a spot but I can't work out how to set the Btns equity realisation to 100%, I can only get it to do it for MP. I changed the checkdown option from MP to Button but it still just does it for MP only, cheers for any help.

one more question is it possible to somehow make w script which solves a tree for a flop then computes EV and saves to the file and then chenges thr flop (a particular one) and repeats ? (same ranges same betsizes just different flop) couse to be pretty precise for a single raised pots with 4 bets on the flop it takes more then an hour, would be cool to solve few trees over night and have saved files with ranges...
Not currently, but this will probably be added at some point in the future.

If Button's equity realization is 100% them MP's equity realization will be 100% as well. Basically if you set equity realization at 100% then you're just requesting a normal checkdown.

PS:
Should I have misunderstood your question then please mail a savefile to support and I'll take another look.

So by giving MP an equity realization of 100% it will also give Btn a 100% realization ?

I gave the following game properties

https://gyazo.com/ec62d54f9d681d2401b819933e602b54

45bbs deep vs a 2.5bb opening range of : AA-22,AKs-A2s,KQs-K8s,QJs-Q8s,JTs-J8s,T9s-T8s,98s,87s,76s,65s,AKo-A8o,A5o,KQo-KTo,QJo-QTo,JTo,T9o

Do these results seem correct ?

I am new to CREV, I've watched the intro videos by Scylla. I am having trouble using it. In the picture at point A, I have assigned my range. At point B, instead of using conditions, I would like to manually assign a x/r range. The difficult part I am encountering is that there is no visual representation of my range to narrow down. When I click the graph its just blank. How do I see a visual representation of my range on a chart, at this point in the hand? Even though my range is unchanged here, it would help a lot in other sims.

Thanks for your time.

Hey does the 99$ pay for cardrunnersev lifetime or do I need to renew the subscription regularly?

If I understand your question correctly, then you mean that you want to bring up the current range in a 13x13 matrix and edit it? To do so, compute the tree (with F7) so that there's EV data in it. Then double-click the condition to edit it. Select the matrix icon in the "Holecards" tab.

This will bring up a 13x13 matrix in which you can select starting hands. To now load the current range into this matrix click on "Get selection from tree" and then click on "Accept current selection".

It's lifetime and all updates are included. People who purchased as early as 2009 are still getting free updates today.

Is there a section somewhere in the tutorial that talks about locked nodes and the sub-tree wizard? I can't seem to find anything about these topics.

Is the $99 licence for one active computer? If not then people get new computers every couple of years so it still kinda works as a subscribtion.

Okay, thanks. I have another question:

Is it possible to create an exception for certain conditions?

For example, if I want to raise with >=tp,K1 but NOT the nut FD, the only way I can think of how to do this is to create two call sub-trees: first have him call with only the nut FD, then create a raise sub-tree, then another call sub-tree that has the condition >=tp,K1. But there are a couple problems with this: firstly since I already created the raise sub-tree first I don't believe there is a way to insert a call sub-tree above it (correct me if I'm wrong). Secondly, this can make completing the tree more difficult and time-consuming since I now have to deal with a whole new sub-set of trees.

Using the operation !fd1 just makes the player raise everything that is not the nut FD. I can't figure out any way to use the "NOT" operator simply to create an exception for a condition.

I think the easiest way to filter out certain hands is by using a skip condition.

Whenever you get a new computer you can just request a key for it on the website: http://www.cardrunnersev.com/requestkey.html.
The key for the old computer will automatically be deactivated.
So, getting a new key when you get a new computer is not a problem and doesn't cost anything at all.

Hello, can anyone link me a video or material where I can check how much equity flops a particular hand?

Let's say villain opens from cutoff, hero is on the bb and wants to 3bets K8s; I wanna know how much equity flops K8s on a random flop/turn/river.
