Yes, the admin was in vegas this week and I couldn't get hold of him.
I'm about to solve the problem permanently though in about a week from now.

Is there a way (or could you add support) to solve for hand ranges instead of a % of hands?

Like, if I'm trying to solve for when a shortdonk is in the SB and open-shoves on my BB with 80% of hands, then it tells me I should call with the top 29% - but, according to PokerStove the "top 29%" includes hands like 98s or w/e which obviously doesn't play as well AI preflop as, say, A4o, which it excludes.

Yes, that is possible.
To accomplish this, set up the decision tree where the sb pushes and let the bb call with all hands. I've made it for a $10 all in here with the top 80% of hands.



Now hover over the BB's EV field and you'll get the performance of all holecards against the 80% range.

I just uploaded the latest version here.

Then I noticed that somehow, someway a bug has gotten in it and the new popups for actions and conditions are empty in math mode.

I'm too tired now to figure out what has gone wrong but you can use the incorrect version for now.

I'll upload a fixed one tomorrow, I'll post again with a list of the new features once I've done so.

Individual holecards popups for actions and conditions
You can turn this feature on/off under "extra->draw ev popup actions+conditions". I've also improved the placement of the (rather large) EV popups.

Rightclick a condition to edit weight
A slightly more conventient way of editing the weight of a condition.

Now 10 possible custom ranges
I wanted to do more but there's some kind of memory problem. I'll figure it out for 2.0.3.

Run data is no longer cleared when you edit a tree
Sounds easy, but it wasn't.

Yes it's free.
And you can import hands by copy pasting the hand history from pokertracker.
To do that, use the AQ icon (second from the left).

To learn how to use the program go to help->video manual.

I've just posted the new version of StoxEV.

New in 2.0.4:

In the preflop condition window you can now (un)select multiple starting hands by clicking on one of them, keeping your mouse button pressed and move over whatever you want to select. Pretty handy!

Same for selecting layers at the turn and/or river

Furthermore some smallish stuff.

Important: I'm giving the tournament calculations an overhaul and there still appears to be a problem with multiple players. I'm afraid I don't have time this weekend, but I should post a fixed version somewhere around tuesday. In that new version tournament calculations should now also work in math mode.

Scylla, one thing that bothers me: Every time I download a new version, I run the msi file, try to open Stox EV, and the old (expired) version still opens. I then have to run the msi file again to uninstall the program and re-install it before the new version appears. I guess it's not overwriting the old program - can you make it do that?

Personally I go to the configuration screen and uninstall before installing a new version.

The whole problem with the installer is that this is the free version.
Actually buying it takes an amount of money that is nothing more or less than unreasonable.
Something like several hundreds of dollars.
I still need to look around for something a bit better.
I don't mind paying something like $40, but $400 is ridiculous.

Scylla, in the future, do you add the "read from hand history" feature?. It will be a great feature. We can see the EV difference from our play and another play...

You can already import hand histories can't you?
It's the AQ button, you'll need to copy paste the hand history into the field.
Or are you talking about something else?
