Contrary to popular believe, there isn't such a thing as an ideal bet size. In a GTO solution, any size will work roughly as well as any other size. Even using multiple sizes will not result in much better performance.

You can try this for yourself by creating two trees for different sizes (same board, same ranges, etc) and then checking the overall EV performance. The overall EV performance can be found by looking at OOP's EV below the table in his very first decision. See the screenshot below. As you will notice, this overall EV will be almost identical, regardless of which sizes are used.

No it doesn't; it also requires building a tree and setting bet sizes prior to solving.

Hey it would be great if you for the next update you could include that when exporting aggregated reports, the boards rank from High card to low card.
It does that in GTO+, but as soons as one exports something it changes the boards.

An autosave feature would be very nice, if someone is working with a large database that is very time consuming. Maybe after each hand GTO+ could make an autosave. Thank you!

Oh, ok.
I suppose that's a small oversight on our end.
I'll take care of it for the next update.

This is already available.
For this, place the files that you need solved in a folder.
Then, click on the "Folder" icon and instruct it to solve all files in the given folder.

Hey Scylla,

would it be possible to create an export option that includes the other player's Equity and ev. Essentially it would just be taking away the need to export twice.

Any chance that could be done?

I can consider it, however, a slight problem here would be that for some users the meaning of the additional columns might turn out to be confusing. Right at this moment the export function simply gives the exact contents of the table. With this addition, suddenly there's two additional columns in the output.

Hey scylla,

I just got a math question here and it just seems i can't figure this out.

Pot is 10
OOP has 50%psb, 75%psb and 100%psb has betting option.
When OOP bets, IP has 50% and 75% of the pot has raises options.

When OOP bets 5 (50% of the pot) into 10, the 50% of the pot raise option for IP makes it to 15 which is equal to 3x the initial OOP bet.

But if OOP makes it 7.5 (75% of the pot) now a 50% of the pot raise only makes it to 20 which is equal to 2.66x the initial bet.

With the same process of OOP 100% psb and a 50% of the pot raise makes it 2.5x.

How does the equation works here ?

Usually i use 3x, 4x, etc as raise, x/raise inputs in GTO+ but i would like to know how the equation works with %.

Thanks.

The pot is 10.
OOP bets 7.5.
If IP were to call, the pot would become 10+2*7.5=25.

If instead IP were to raise, which means calling and then making an additional bet, this additional bet on top of the 7.5 would be 50% of 25, which is 12.5. And given that it's a raise on top of the original bet of 7.5, the raise is to 12.5+7.5=20.

Ok, I've just taken a look at this and I can't seem to reproduce this issue.
Exporting in text format is in the same order as whatever is in the table.
Can you perhaps specify in a bit more detail what you're referring to?

Hey Scylla, need your help to make sure I am doing this correctly.

I am trying to figure out what BB's turn betting range is once he XR's the flop. Am I doing this right?

This is a BTNvsBB spot. I put BTN's opening range and BB's calling range.

BTN Opening Range

BB Calling Range

BB's XR Range in Blue correct?

Turn is J

BB's turn betting range is 35.2%?

Am I doing this right?

Yes, that seems to be correct to me.

Hey, when I try to process files in given directory, list of .gto files still showing a message “selected directory does not exist”
I’ve tried multiple folders, refresh button, reopened gto, changed names, still without success. What am I missing here? Thanks

Can you try a simple folder like C:/tmp?

When designing the interface we did consider this option, but personally I found that the trees became harder to look at due to an overload of colors. There was just too much going on. We can consider revisitting the idea for later releases, but I suspect that the interface works better in a simplified form.

I think the opposite, it seems more confusing to put the whole tree in blue because blue always means OOP. My mind thinks blue = OOP and green = IP.

Anyway it is possible that I am wrong and most think like you.

It would be good to know what people think. What do you think? Which tree is easier to understand, the first one or the second one?

There's no such thing as right or wrong here. It's just that at the time we considered using separate colors for the two players as opposed to using a single color, and the single color variant looked better to me. There's thousands of decisions involved in designing an interface and this is a decision that was made. I'm perfectly happy to re-visit alternatives at a later point.

When you release it, can I just download it and install on my PC without uninstall the old version or is needed to uninstall it first to install the new version? I want to use the updated version but I don't want to lose my ranges and pre-build trees
