Ok, well ... that's odd

Could you please tell me if this is the registered version or the trial version?
Also please make sure you're running as admin and that your computer's date is set correctly.

indeed very odd. I use a registered version. It has been working for several months. Just yesterday it started acting strange.

Ok, could you please check your main directory and check if your regkey.dat file has a size greater than 0?

Also please check if your computer's date is set correctly.

Also, please see if you can start either CardrunnersEV_C.exe or CardrunnersEV_T.exe? (both as admin of course).

thanks scylla. it turned out my computer's date was set to oct 29. changing the date fixed the problem.

Button opens 50%
-I 3bet 99 in the Blind.
-BTN 4bets with AKo/AKs

It says his equity is 91% and mine is 9%, wtf?

Have you perhaps entered a flop/turn or river?

D'oh.

Works now, but when I do EV run it says no end of hand found.

I just want it to find out how much $ I will be losing/winning if I make the shove preflop and get called, not taking the flop/turn/river into consideration, is that possible? Or can we only see %?

The node where the unexpected end of hand occurs should be coloured red.
At that point, a hand goes through it for which no action is specified.
You'll for instance need to add that this hand is folded.

The message window should show an example of a hand that couldn't be processed.

Okay think I am getting the hang of this now.

Does this look right?

If he is 4betting the button with QQ+,AK+ and never folding, I am losing -19bb everytime I make this shove with 99?

Thanks

I have a long tree created but want to change one of player's position from the BB to the SB while keeping the tree the same. Is this possible?

I used the copy the tree feature "ctrl alt c" make new file with SB and paste in old tree with "ctrl alt v"

Yeah, that's the way to do it.
In essence it's not possible to change positions at a later stage, but ctrl+alt+C and ctrl+alt+V will let you do pretty much anything.

Also, Ctrl+1 and Alt+1 (or any number from 1-9) will let you make temporary savefiles (Ctrl+1 is save the current tree to tmp file 1, Alt+1 is load tmp file 1), which should allow you to switch between your old tree and the new tree.
Move your mouse over the disk in the lower right for more instructions.

Appreciate the help but still confused. When I try the first way, it won't allow me to paste after I start a new file with the SB instead of BB. Maybe I'm not copying it correctly? It says "Can not paste, because no subtree has been copied."

Once I figure this out I'll be extremely happy though as this looks really useful.

Sorry for being a dumbass.

Could you mail me the tree please?
It'll be easier if I can have a look.

Googs, I forgot to say it only copies one line so you have to select a decision from where you wanna copy from it doesnt copy everything. So click a decision with mouse (should go green) then ctrl alt c and it will copy from this spot. So you have to do it twice if you have raise and call for first player. Now it should work.

Hey scylla, what's the best way to figure out the EV of a certain action broken down by each of the various cards on that street? I'll give an example:

Let's say villain opens the button, I defend the BB w/ A9hh. Flop is Qh8h2c. I know villain loves to 2-barrel, so I want to calculate the EV of the line of: c/c, c/r all-in. I fill out the tree through the turn with the range he calls or folds to my shove with. Then I just put in a random river.

So, I'd like to see the EV of my line on each specific turn card. Then I can see if the EV on any of the cards is negative (i.e. Qc) so I can optimize my shoving strategy on optimal turn cards. Maybe I could also look at a c/c, c/c line for various turn cards and compare the EV's for the c/c or c/r the turn lines for each of the individual cards.

Anyway, I thought I remember Pokerazor being able to do something like that.

Yeah

Funny thing is, I did fix it ...
Unfortunately, as I noticed after the release, I made the modifications in a backup version.
So if it makes you feel any better, there's a backup version on my harddrive where this problem does not exist.

I've fixed it again for the next release.

As I recall, I still need to add that.
Considering the way the math engine is set up, this is gonna be a hard one.
I might just go with a simpler solution though and just perform the calculation 52 times, one for every turn-card. I think that'll take about 20 seconds to calculate, which should be fast enough.

Yea, I feel a little better knowing there's a working copy on your hard drive.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm scheduled for a vasectomy next Tuesday

Yeah, this would be a really key feature. What's the best way to do it now? Just change the various turn cards manually and get different EV numbers? Is there a way to use the maximum exploitive play or graphing features to help with this currently?
