Yeah, BOL updated again this morning. Good news is I believe this fix will make the card catcher less susceptible to future BOL changes/updates.

And the other thing is the way it's catching hands now, your PT special character issue shouldn't be a problem anymore.

After the update I can enter in my Username for Hero now, but it still hasn't fixed my issue with PokerTracker 4. I still have lifetime stats showing up for my HUD so the cardcatcher still isn't recognizing who the HERO is.

I opened up a six max table and it selected "treat as 6 max" and something weird happened, my HUD for myself disappeared, but all the other players HUD stayed in their aligned spots I saved as layout the other day.

The catcher is going to use whatever your Chico network screename is now by default. Before it was HERO first, and then whatever you entered into the config settings as your username. Now if you're observing it will default to HERO, but grab your username while you're playing.

Regarding your issue w/ lifetime or session stats, the catcher is just writing a HH. It's writing your name w/ your cards, so it's up to PT4 to recognize that as hero. There's nothing on our side we do about this. But my assumption is some setting is off for you, because I've not had anyone in this thread have that problem, and I used to use it w/ PT4 as well for my own play and never had this issue.

If you want to send support your PT config, I can have someone take a look at it to let you know what might be off, but we're not experts in their software. My guys know it pretty well though, but like I said, we're just writing the hand. PT4 is setting all of the other info up.

IT seems what is happening is PT4 is getting HH from your Card catcher, but not recognizing my screen name as being "dealt whole cards" How do you have your PT4 setup if it works for you then? All I did was edit player list to include my username, then deleted "Hero" from the player list, so the only name in my player list is my screen name.

Yeah, they are going to say because you're using a 3rd party product.

So just click on settings in the catcher. Click create log. It will generate a .zip file. Click on the link to open the directory where the zip file is, and send that to ace poker solutions support:

Hello all. So what manager would you guys say runs the chico catcher better so far HM2 or PT4? And is this the same as the kingshands chico converter if not why? I see you guys keep rolling out updates which is great. Just Interested in the software and looking for some feedback on these questions. Thanks

I think it's just a preference thing. Both will auto launch the HUDs now, so if you're unsure, just try both of them and see which one you like better.

So, today I cannot get the CC to run without BOL crashing. I updated to the most recent version (which I hadn't done yet), but BOL continues to crash if I start the CC. Anyone else encountering this?

Same thing here. Hopefully this can be resolved swiftly. Literally started my vacation today and was hoping too get some hands in before I was gone for the weekend.

Yes, ty. It looks like the new BOL update today is crashing the client. We're looking into it.

Game client does not work with the card catcher running.

Any update on this? Current no functionality with the card catcher.

Finishing some testing. It was just a bad timing thing. The developer who normally works on this went him early on the day this update broke the catcher.
