We just added it to Drivehud (not released yet), so we'll be adding it to the catcher soon as well. It's just going to capture hands (no HUD).

Ok. I just bought BOL Card Cather and am using it with PT4 playing boost. It's tracking my hadnds played but not whenever I fold out of the SB or BB? Is this normal? Wouldn't this drastically create an inaccurate graph over time?

The BOL catcher doesn't support boost yet. I think you're getting confused.

Also are you sure card catcher + PT4 doesnt track boost? It's tracking my hands played on PT4 when I played on boost (yesterday)..

It won't track 100%. There will be missed hands. It's not officially supported for that reason.

Is it possible to get a refund and purchase drivehud instead? I read online that pt4 plus card catcher was the same thing and went with that setup because I like pt4 but it sounds like drive hud is what I need since I play BOL boost as my main game

I'm using the BOL CC trial with HM2. For some reason I am able to see the HUD at the tables but it isn't loading on my HM2 in active session or results or anything. My Ignition CC seems to work. Any ideas?

you need to set your player alias in the card cather settings and then change the active player in HM2 to that screen name

If anyone is getting errors using the BOL catcher w/ PT4, there's a small bug in some of the latest versions of PT4. If you update to this latest alpha, it will resolve any import errors:

I use the card catcher to import BOL hands to PT4. It has been working well but recently I found a few unimported hands due to errors like "Warning: iPoker: Big Blind not posted in hand#...".

I noticed the problem because several hands where I won/lost big were missing in PT4. I found two such hands in the BOL hand history viewer, and noticed that the BB was the same player in both hands, named something like "foo.12:34". I also examined the raw hh xml files generated by the card catcher. The hh seems correct and consistent with the BOL hh viewer. The xml file has a line describing that player posting the BB, like this:

<action no="2" player="foo.12:34" type="2" sum="0.25" cards="" />

Clearly the most likely cause of the problem is the special chars (either "." or ":", probably the latter) in the player name. To confirm this I grouped all his hands in my PT4 db by his position, and there was no hands where he was in the blinds. Apparently his name is causing the importing errors when he is in the blinds.

Is the problem known? Any workarounds?

Thanks for the reply, but that alpha version unfortunately does not seem to resolve the importing problem. I created a new db in PT4 (the alpha version) and tried to import the same hand history files, but the same hands turned out missing with the same error messages shown. I guess PT4 just does not expect special chars like colons in player names, but BOL is apparently quite permissive on that. Perhaps no one else has noticed the same problem since special chars in names are rare in the first place.

One simple workaround is to replace all occurrences of the player name in the hh files and re-import them, but if PT4 does not overwrite duplicate hands one has to purge the sessions, which can be troublesome (and there are notes). I wish there is a better solution, e.g. (a) requesting PT4 to support special chars in names, or (b) allowing BOL card catcher to auto replace specific chars (perhaps as a user option). Thoughts?
