My card catcher updated yesterday and right after doing so now no longer opens, not sure what I should do other then maybe uninstall reinstall.

Yes, just re-install. It's possibly your virus scanner blocked a file on install. I've seen that a couple of times in the past, but only with very over active virus scanners.

I don't think there is one.. all virus scanners have a problem with some poker apps.

I don't have any personal recommendations. I don't use any. Stopped using them many years ago. I just make sure I know the source of the sites of files I'm using and viewing.
