Just a personal feedback on MTT package. for me it is far too heavy with a lot of stat that need large samples and that not fit well with MTT compare to cash game. Most of the information needs to be on preflop play where you will get more information. very few badge show up and not so much on shoving range, reshove and so on. I will give a second try maybe I miss something, but not sure it will fit MTT players expectations. do you have any others feedback, do you still work on it or it is close to the final version?

I just gave another try today, 5 millions notes generated for my small database where I played 70k hands in MTT. I've got several players at more than 500hands and HUD show up 2 badges at max and most of the time post flop badges. in MTT we need fast input on some vilain.
already with my database, my computer (bought this year) is ready to explode
hope you still working on it because some of the stuff is good but overall too heavy and difficult to read in MTT, detailled preflop with dedicated infos for MTT would be great, and simplifying post flop.

@lafauriea, did you follow the steps in the performance guide ?
I'm not an expert on this, but it sounds really weird that your PC should be under strain with a 70k database, when i'm running on a 2M database myself without any problems. The guide did wonders to my PC, as there are certain limitations (for example to the maximum amount of RAM used by HEM2) within the standard HEM2 configuration, that you can change to drastically improve performance.

Buying you computer this year doesn't mean much. Check your specs vs the specs listed in the OP.

As BonitaMadras wrote, follow the performance guide. It will help. That small of a database shouldn't have any issues with a computer that meets our specs.

As far as badges go we can't 'force' them to appear. We set minimum sample sizes so that they have a decent level of accuracy. Badges are focused on multistat spots our analysis has shown we will have the best chance of consistently finding clearly exploitable play. Most of the badges need decent samples. Full time tourney pros get a solid number of badges.

Specifics as to what is missing preflop and what isn't needed postflop would be helpful. You can also customize the HUD to fit your preferences.

Appart from computer optimization, I understand that this MTT package is design for pro as you said and it's seems you will not change anything based on feedback. I gave it a try, gave a feedback, that's it. you will never get the same sample size as for cash game and so for me it is useless until I play 10000 tournaments per year.

Hey, I just started using the AJA Premium HUD. One issue I'm running into is that the HUD only shows stats for my opponents for the current session.

So, as an example, there are players in my database which I have 1k+ hands on. If I were to start a new session, they would not have any hands or statistics in their HUD. It's as if I've never played with them before.

The odd thing is that if I open more tables with the same player, their stats on each HUD will take into account their hands played on other tables.

Also, just so you know, under HUD Settings > General Settings, I have Use session stats unchecked.

It's also worth noting that this issue only showed up when I started using the Premium HUD. Previously, with my old hud, I would get all stats and hands on a player.

Sounds like you're lacking notes (notes is another way of saying stats from the hands in your database) on your full database. In NoteCaddy it should show all hands processed in the creating notes tab. If it does show all hands processed did you start a new database? If so, did you import your old hands? You can find them in the c:/HM2Archive folder.

If that doesn't work change your replayer HUD back to your old hud and confirm that you have all the hands you expect. If you do, go File->Reset notes and rerun your database. Once NC has ran all your hands recheck our HUD.

I'm currently using the AJA 6-max Premium HUD. I'd like to customize the HUD by moving some of the stats and badges around. The challenge I'm facing is that none of the badges have descriptive names, so I can't precisely identify what the badge refers to.

Would you be able to tell me what each badge name in the HUD corresponds to? (Or even better, release an update with semantic names for the badges).

These are all the badges, along with the count of those badges in parentheses.

Premium, most likely.

Dynamic requires a fast computer. If you have the system I would recommend trying Dynamic, we can switch you to Premium if needed. If you need to purchase a new system, that's a bit of a closer call. I'd recommend starting now with Premium and if you like it consider upgrading your computer. It's a easy transition from Premium to Dynamic and we'll credit your Premium purchase to the purchase of the Dynamic HUD. Having the Dynamic HUD in the Zoom games will put you in a pretty small group and I think offers a significant advantage.

Hi, I'm running these computer specs with a 500gb ssd, current database is 77GB (somehow only 222GB left on comp and i don't use it for anythign bar poker so not sure why)



Would my comp be good enough for the dynamic hud?

i5 is pretty bad for NoteCaddy in general as it is optimized for multi threading and you lose a lot by not having an i7. I can't say for sure for this pack but for shrinking your database you should be running vacuum/analyze weekly http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...lyze+Database+

I have The AJA Dynamic HUD . When I play it takes the pop up about 5 sec to arrive, even when I just play one tabel and have turned off NoteCaddy for making notes.
I have Intel I7-4770 ,16GB RAM, 120GB Raid ssd.
I have about 500,000 hands, database is only about 800MB.
When I import hands it make it about 140 note in sec. If I open a hand in the replayer it gos really fast and pop ups come instantly. have followed everything in the PDF u send. Have even reinstalled Windows. But nothing works

I had this problem as well and solved it by not creating notes during a session and instead just manually creating them after each session. The popups appear instantly if you do this.

And how you do it?

File----Settings------Database settings

Uncheck the 'Automatically start taking notes when HM2 opens' box

thank you so much for the tip, but it did not work for me is just as slow as before.
I did turn off the automatically refresh in Holdem Manager 2 , it went a little better but still to slow.

My system spec etc is the same as yours so it should be able to handle it. I don't really have the technical knowledge to offer any other possible solutions though. Sorry.

Your system is a beast and popups should be instant in game just like in the replayer w/out turning note creation off.

Something is bottle necking the data. Everything in the optimization document is designed to open up those bottle necks. Double check that you didn't miss a step. Almost always when someone has slow popups w/ a proper system something was missed. A common mistake is using a higher version of postgres, 9.3 isn't better than 9.0.

If you feel like everything was done correctly contact AJacksonAdvatage on skype. Support is just coming home from a holiday so might be a little slow while getting caught up.
