Just wanted to add, that it works like a charm now (regular tables). Loading time of the HUD is very fast for me (~10 seconds with a small database) and once it has loaded everything (after 1 hand of play), clicking the popups opens them immediately. No lag whatsoever.

Also appreciate after sales support, as it was very fast and useful for me.

That's gonna be our next project once the Cashgame HUDs have been released. So it's definitely ahead, but not in the coming weeks.

Just a quick note for the community.

I encountered a lot of performance issue with the beta version. (I had a intel i7 2.6 Ghz, 24Gb of Ram and a SSD hard disk)

I abandoned this product temporary.

Assuming you've tried the Dynamic package that's not noteworthy as your PC is below our advised system requirements.

The Premium package should work fine, and we have many users with more average PC's than yours using it with any problem. If it's the Premium package feel free to contact support to see what's causing your issues. They're happy to help you out.

Running Dynamic Package with i7 3550k, 32Gb RAM and 2 SSDs.
It processed over 400mio Notes and runs smoothly so far.

The beta test ended last week. There shouldn't be a mention of the NL beta in the OP (we are about to start the PLO beta). I checked to be sure, if I missed it please let me know.

The hud is not working on PS (ZOOM)...

All stats are blank, just show dashs, even on the pop ups. The only stat that apears are VPIP and PFR that i added to them manually...

If i use one "standard" hud, like harrington HUD, stats show/works normally.

I just update HM2 and my package definition, but doesnt work...

Has note creation finished? If not, that'd solve it as the HUD is 100% based on NoteCaddy stats.

If it did please follow the steps in the performance guide that came with the package. If you need help with that or the problem remains it'd be easiest to contact us @ Skype.

I would assume it's related to the recent PS update that broke the HM2 Zoom HUD?

The float badges were the one area where I felt we could've done with more documentation but that video explains it well.

This package is freakin awesome. My only criticism would be that it needs more videos from Alan explaining how it all works, and more about how he uses it in his own game.

Would be sick if he would do maybe a 10-20 min video every week for those who have his package where he explains how he is dominating his opponents with certain badges.

Just out of interest what spec computers are people running and how many hands per second do you get when recreating notes?

Im running:

3770K overclocked to 4.5ghz
16gb ram, overclocked to 1800mhz (from 1600mhz), this gained me about a 7% increase
2 SSD's running in raid 0, not sure how this is effecting the speed.

Im getting about 104 hands per second when it first starts out.

This depends a lot how many definitions you need to crunch. I have 2 year old i7 with 16gb ram and I think mine is quite a bit faster.

Postgres 9.x and tuning it might help you a bit:
(if u haven't done it yet)

http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-...s-9-2-a-2.html

BTW I was told 2 SSD in raid 0 doubles your chance of SDD failure (if one of them gets broken you lose all your data) and it doesn't increase your performance much.
However this is second hand knowledge so maybe it boosts your system some..

We probs have the same i7 as the 3770k came out few years ago. Nah not done the performance tuning yet as not had a chance, plan on doing it this weekend as I wont be playing.

Yep having 2 SSD in raid 0 means if one of the drives fails you lose everything as the data is stripped over both drives, but I backup everything so im good.

I have a similar system without the overclocking and my note creation is a little lower than yours, but my system is about 18 months old and still running on the original windows install. my system feels slow, I think I need to factory reset my SSD and reinstall everything.

I really don't care about note creation speeds, just in game performance (tho, I'm sure the two are connected) and the HUD performs well in game.

Like the other guy wrote, postgres 9.0 will make a noticeable difference.

I'm running an I7 at 2.4Ghz on my laptop with 12gb of ram and an SSD. I get just over 50 hands per second.

I did find that in game I was sometimes having terrible problems opening popups, with them sometimes taking 7 or 8 seconds to open which was unacceptable. I've solved this by not creating notes till the end of each session and now the popups appear instantly.

Yeah, the hand creation speed is basically a good measure of how the overall notecaddy experience is going to be.

Before this I had an AMD 8350 which is one of the better AMD processors, it was heavily overclocked but it wouldn't go beyond 35-40 hands per second. Although the hud worked fine I also had serious problems with the popup times, it basically made it nearly impossible to use popups as just like you I would have to wait 5-10 seconds for it to load up. I didn't actually think to try your solution though Husker, I just went out and bought an i7.

How do you set that option?

In NoteCaddy go to File->Settings and uncheck "Automatically start taking notes". This should only be needed when using the Dynamic package and a PC with specs below our recommendation (8GB RAM, quadcore i5 2.8 Ghz CPU, SSD). If your PC meets those specs making the changes in the Performance Guide should mean this workaround isn't needed. In case you need any help with the guide you can contact us @ Skype and we're happy to help you out.

Also note that if you do turn off this option that you need to go in and create notes for unprocessed hands at some point (I usually do it immediately after a session)

HEM has always brought my system to its knees with the HUD running, even before I installed the dynamic hud.

I'm running a quadcore AMD X4 3.2GHz, SSD, 12GB of RAM.

Even with no tables running, HEM still uses up 25-50% of my CPU if I turn on the HUD.

I love the HUD, but I can't use the hovers.
