I need to move my 6-max opening hands, including all reactionary decisions, to unconscious competence faster. I'm looking for a training tool that will present to me the position, hole cards, and preflop action facing hero and then gives options to fold, call or raise and is customizable to your customer's ranges. I'm not looking for something that tells me what to do, I want to program it with the right or wrong answers so it can train me to memorize my strategy.

Bonus points if it outputs data in various ways such as decisions per minute, accuracy percentages, etc. Does this program do anything like this, or does Ace Poker have anything else that does something like this?

Yes and no. You can edit the config files it comes with and create your own strategy, but there's no interface designed for this. You'd have to edit the config files (but it's quite easy to do). So technically you can create any strategy or advice with that strategy that you'd want.

Will it allow me to model every situation or is it limited to a number of predetermined situations? I downloaded the trial I'm having a look at it now.

Can I choose to not include any scenarios with limpers? I noticed there's a lot of scenario's with limpers. Most of the time the action facing you is a raise.

It will model every scenario. There's no option to turn off limping scenarios, but they are not prominent.

I'm using LB2 and apparently I have the Overbet Turn leak. The brief bit advice it offers seems reasonable, but it also suggests watching the "Video on Over Bet Turn." When I click on it though, it takes me to a video called "Optimal River Bet Sizing." Is this a bug, or is the point that the two concepts are related? I can't tell if maybe I'm missing content specifically on turn bet sizing. Thanks.

Wrong thread. I'm not sure about the suggested video for that leak. I'll have to take a look at it and see. That video might have been removed. I'll get back to you.

I have the APD already, one of the first training software i tried.

For a outdated software(Ace Poker Coach) its still was pretty helpful when you have no proper net.

Thanks for the nice training software.

You can find the 2 of 3 video in DriveHUD Poker University. For 3 of 3, I don't think they released it yet.

Hi there,

I'm really having trouble with the solution part of the break-even bluff calculation.
Could someone direct me to somewhere it explains this in detail, or could someone do this via here?

Thanks for your time

If you click on hints, the calculation is posted there in full detail.

Hi,

Thanks for replying.
I understand where the solution is. Thanks for pointing it out.
But, I'm actually struggling to understand the layout of the solution itself.
For example, figuring out EV I (W%*W$) - (L%*L$).
However, the way the Poker Aces app has written this solution is new to me.
I understand LV & WH(this is the same as above), but I'm not understanding how X fits into these. So, XP, XLV and WXH.

If you could point me in the right direction to learn this, that would be great.

Thanks

X is the break even point, based on your current equity in the hand. Your question isn't totally clear to me. It sounds like you're struggling to understand how you come to that break even calculation, but I'm not sure what I can explain more than the hint with the break down and explanation that's in the app explains. I think we had some theory video on this somewhere. Maybe that will help more. I'm going to have to look for it / ask others, and I'll post.

Hey

Thanks again.
That would be amazing if you could find that video for me. Maybe it will help.
Maybe if I take some screenshots it will help with me describing my issue.
I know this is probably a really stupid question so sorry in advance

Did this image work? If so, does "XP" simply equal to 15?
Thanks

X is what you're solving for. PM me and I'll see what I can dig up to explain this better.

Yes, 1 license is good for activation on 2 systems. If you're having an issue, then you can reset the activations for the license and try it again.
