hello after updating to new version few days ago it started to lag a lot playing with partycaption, hotkeys are slow, moving with tables is very laggy as well, more tables i play more lags i get

i have fast pc cpu i7 6700k 4ghz, 32gb ram, 3x 512 ssd, geforce gtx 1070

this happened one time to me before and when u released new version and i updated it worked fast again

now iam on version 1.63e and its very slow for me

any idea how to make it work faster?

hello so after new party poker update i was forced to update partycaption from 1.59 to 1.67c because i use betting hotkeys and it is fixed in latest version only and lags are back again, latest version that worked without lag was 1.59, i can play but it is very annoying it lags like i play on some very old pc, sometime i press bet button but it bet with 3 sec delay, in 1.59 it bet instantly, same is when i have seat from waiting list it take maybe 2 secs to open table and sit me in but in 1.59 it happened instatly without any lag

eset nod32 antivirus

i think when i had problem last time i didnt have nod32, i think i had only windows default security and no commercial antivirus

edit: i just checked and i have whole folder with all poker stuff including party caption in exceptions in nod32

so i played another session, tried to disable display scaling, uninstal and instal party caption but it is still lagging, its not partycaption what lags but party poker client, graphic is so slow with big delays, like on river it go to showdown and pot go very slow to winner, dealing cards graphic is slow and laggy too, start of session was fast, longer and more tables i play, more it lags, when i was finishing session and had just one table open it stopped to lag

with version 1.59 i didnt have any of these lags, in 1.60 and higher it causes these problems

cpu usage was between 30 - 50% whole session, ram 25%

played another session, before i uninstal party caption and also deleted all files what remained in folder, then i install party caption, imported back uped settings and also disabled cards and chips animation in party poker client settings, look like it solved problem, no lags so far

Hi,

I have tried partycaption for a couple of days now on partypoker 5nl fast forward tables. Most works great. Except one feature. pot odds in % of a call. I have added the tag [%] to the hud.

I do get a percentage shown, but its not correct. Often around 50% while the bet size of villain is less then pot (so the statistic should be less then 30%)

What version of PartyCaption do you have now? I hope it is v1.67c (only this version works correctly with the latest poker client update).

Also I hope that both PartyCaption and partypoker client run as admin.

If all is correct, then show me a screenshot of one of the problem situations, please.

I've been using Party Caption for a week or so, all the features are working great except the Note system. It shows I should be able to label people so that their entire name plate is set to a certain color. However whenever I label a player all the shows up is the default Party Poker note color in the top left of their avatar. How can I get their entire name to be highlighted the color I want to label them?

You have to do at least this:
1. Install a large note images
2. Turn on Table options / Custom color notes / Active
3. Configure a Set note hotkey

Try to read here about it.

the correct source to download partycaption ?
because when i download the program from there,
norton antivirus wants to block and delete it.
when i scan partycaption v1.67b.exe at https://www.virustotal.com
it shows as well that it is infected with malware:

You can turn on Options / Auto check for updates and restart the program, or download it from the site manually.

'Suspicious' doesn't mean 'infected'. Yes, some antiviruses can consider the behavior of the program to be suspicious. But to ensure its functionality, it has to work with a poker client at a low level, and it really can look suspicious from the outside. Therefore it is false alarm of heuristic analyzer - try to configure it to a lower level of suspicion or add PartyCaption to the list of trusted applications.

Possible reasons:
1. Table options / Custom color notes / Active disabled
2. Table options / Custom color notes / Old note icon position enabled (it must be disabled if you use partypoker.com client)
3. You have an old version of PartyCaption

You can configure if on the Betscript tab.
Click Add new bet and set this formula:
x1
Turn on Active.
If you want this formula on preflop only, then turn off all other streets in the Street filter.

Hi,

is it still possible to hide balance element using Partycaption ?
it seems in the past there was a button in the "Lobby" part but it is not there anymore in the newest version of the software

This option was removed - you can hide a balance in a partypoker settings. If you want to hide something else (points, tickets, etc) or all bar on a top of lobby - let me know, I'll try to think how to do it.
