hi, I have just downloaded the StarsCaption having been using tableninja..

IDK if I am just being ******ed but there doesn't seem to be an option to set a hotkey forf check/call???? What am I missing!!

redlineftw, you can configure this hotkey in PokerStars settings (and Check/Fold hotkey too). Maybe I'll make such hotkeys in the future, but Stars hotkeys work fine and you can use them.

Hi, just letting you know custom color notes are broken in latest PartyCaption version 1.63d, I can't set new colors (or changing old ones removes the color) so had to downgrade to 1.63a again, then it works as before.

Try to use a Set note hotkey (you can find a description and a video on the site).
All other methods have been removed in the latest versions (as obsolete).

For 888Caption - is it possible to do something to make colour tags more noticeable? PartyCaption has some options to fill in the player pod etc.

Also for 888, is it possible to modify the text for bet/chip amounts?

Nihility77, there are many free and commercial layouts with large colour tags. You can try to use this one for example, it's free.

About text - there is an option to change fonts, Layout editor / Fonts. You can change most of a fonts on the table with it.

Quick question i want to ask. My 888caption expired. I also only used the trial version of partycaption only and that expired. I dont play much at all on 888 or party. You can only buy a 1 year subscription or you could buy less such as 6 months etc?

Party caption can't set halo notes anymore. So basically no notes anymore. Tried to install and uninstall Party Poker but still the same bug. Framed and filed framed notes don't work anymore for me

It works - you can use a Set note hotkey for this. Please read this topic for details (you can find a video about this hotkey there).

Some details how to configure it:
1. On a Hotkeys tab - choose LDblClick from a drop-down list for Set note hotkey to configure it to left double click (you can configure it to any another button if you want).
2. Turn on HUD / Active option.
3. It should work now. Double click on any opponent and choose a color mark.

All old methods of note setting was removed from PartyCaption in the latest versions, and only two ways are available now - Hotkeys / Set note and Hotkeys / Opp buttons / Set note.
You can find descriptions and videos about both ways on the site.

Yes, [t] wors fine for SnGs only, for MTTs you should use [TL_timer]

Does Partycaption has a "do not hide lobby after table opening" option like 888caption? I couldn't find it. If it doesn't have can you add it in a future update?

hello after updating to new version few days ago it started to lag a lot playing with partycaption, hotkeys are slow, moving with tables is very laggy as well, more tables i play more lags i get

i have fast pc cpu i7 6700k 4ghz, 32gb ram, 3x 512 ssd, geforce gtx 1070

this happened one time to me before and when u released new version and i updated it worked fast again

now iam on version 1.63e and its very slow for me

any idea how to make it work faster?

Sometimes it can be on a high DPI resolution display - in this case try to change a Disable display scaling on high DPI settings option here:



In my case it works fine when this option disabled both for party and PartyCaption.

i tried to disable display scaling on high dpi settings, start of session it worked fine even with 9 tables but after 30-60 mins it started to lag again, i tried also to turn off party caption and turn on but it was loading around 2 mins, i was checking cpu and memory usage and it didnt go over 15%, when i decided to finish session because it was very laggy and got only 3 tables running it started to work fast again

iam using party caption very long time and lags started since i accidentaly clicked ok for autoupdate, i forget which version i used before but it worked perfect

also tried to uninstal and instal newest version but same result

i have no idea where is problem

Try to add both party and PartyCapion to antivirus exclusion list, maybe it helps

i tried to put all poker programs including party poker and partycaption to antivirus exclusion list but it didnt help, lags continued so i tried version 1.59 and it works fast, so now iam on version 1.59
