IrAiSeU, you should reinstall notes again (FilledFrameNotes on the Layuot tab, for example). Party restores original small notes after every client update.

When requesting partycaption trial, how long does that usually take?

From few minutes to several hours (it depends on whether I'm at the computer or not).
Now all requests are activated.

Currently using the trial version of partycaption and have some issues.


I have 888caption2 and it works good. I mainly use it for never sit out when playing, autoregister sngs, hotkey betting etc.


On partycaption, i have issues with



Hotkey betting

On 888caption, i have a hotkey where the letter S would be 50 percent of the pot when betting. I also the hotkey W as 2.25bb preflop raise.

On partycaption, i basically copied the same settings manually as on 888caption. When i press hotkey W when playing on partypoker, it just raises 2x instead of 2.25x. Also when im in the sb, when i press the W, it should be raising to 2.25x.. instead it raises to 2x only. My hotkey E raises to 2.5x preflop. When in the SB on partypoker, it raises to like 4.75x. On 888 with 888caption, zero issues with this. Im confused because i configured it same way as on 888.





Tablepanels/player panels


On 888 poker, i basically put in bet sizing such as 33 and 40 percent since 888 doesn't have that as a betsizing amount. Thus with the 33%, it would show

0.33*pot


On partycaption, is the bet in pot % suppose to read 33% or 33%*pot? If so, i have to manually type in *pot right after 33%? I did not and there doesn't seem to be an issue with this on partypoker.

Also on 888caption, didn't 888 not allow you to put things like pot odds, percentage of pot odds, spr and other things with 888caption? I tried doing this on partycaption and apparently this is allowed on party? Such as it would display okay pot odds are 3:1 etc? I looked at my 888caption and don't see pot odds or things there but i recall 888 didn't allow this similar to like how stars doesn't allow software to say 2.5x+ each limper etc? Does partycaption allow the 2.5x + x limper raise or even the customized 3bet size? Like back then when someone raises, it could default the reraise size to 2.5x or 3x etc.



Player panels

The only thing i use is the BB stack. I basically make it red and make it bold and decent size. On partypoker, i keep have to put it where i want, usually at the top of each table. Thus i have to manually do this at every table. on 888caption, its always at the top of the table. And when new table opens, well that BB stack in bold is always in same spot etc.




Time bank issue


Does partypoker have the shortest time bank of stars, 888 and them? I noticed the time bank was pretty quick and once it was up, i got a 10 second time bank and thats all?



Layout question

I currently use the default layout on partypoker. I see the borgata standard layout looks pretty nice. I don't see this as an option on the layout choices on partypoker settings. So changing this would make it like that layout?

Okay im having a huge issue when im on a table where im taking a good amount of time. It would time bank. So when im taking a long time at a table, i cannot click on the other tables to immediately fold those other hands etc. Is there a way to fix this issue?


Example, it shows i have lot of actions at the other tables but when i click on each table, i cannot even go to the other tables due to having to make an action on the current table etc.


With tableoptimizer on pokerstars, there is no issue with this etc. I also dont believe i have this issue with 888 as well.

Another issue i have is after i bust out of a sng, it shows you finished x place but the table does not close. I checked the option to auto close sng 2 seconds after sng is done.
I put 2 seconds and for the V... i have 1. My partycaption is version 1.59.


Another issue i have is it keeps saying im already registered to an sng or something like that

Is there a way to tile tables as well with partycaption or does partypoker allow it itself? Basically in my monitor, i would see 4 tables. But let say i have 20 tables. So behind each table is many tables behind each one. Monitor is 1920x1200 resolution. On stars i could do this with the tiling custom layout.


Basically when lot of tables show up, they all over the place.

1. Hotkey betting
Probably your party client is not running as admin. If it's not, then give me screenshot of a your Betting hotheys tab.

2. Tablepanels/player panels
bet in pot % - enter 0.33 for this (not 33% or 33%*pot or 0.33*pot)

3. Pot odds
Pot odds was prohibited by 888 about a year ago. But 888's User Agreement was changed about a month ago and it allows to use pot odds now. So [NeedOuts], [:], [%], [p%] tags was restored and you can use them now (in 888Caption2 v2.33b and higher). And the same tags also can be used in Stars/PartyCaption.
SPR has always been allowed and you can use it in all Captions ([SPR], [effSPR], [effSprNextStreet] tags).

4. Openraise vs limpers.
You can use it in betscript both for PartyCaption / 888Caption - and both in Basic and Advanced betrscript tabs. In advanced betscript you can use any complex formulas for calculating of a bet size - openraise vs limpers, any 3bet size customization, etc.
StarsCaption has an advanced betscript too, but with some restrictions (limpers / callers number are prohibited, using of IP/OOP and some other things too).

5. Player panels
You should configure player panel positions for every table size - they have different settings for 6max, 8max, 9max, etc tables. Maybe you opened different table types and that's why you had to do it again.

6. Time bank
Sorry, I don't know. I almost do not play poker now.

7. Layout question
Any changes you can do for layout on the Layout tab will be done for default party layout. So choose the default layout in party settings and install any of you want on the Layout tab (restart of the poker client should be done to see the changes).

I don't know what you mean, maybe you have some settings active here:

Try to use v2 (or v3 if v2 doesn't help).


Some of these dialog windows can be processed by options on the SnG/MTT tab. Also some options can be found on Dialogs tab ('Auto close all one-button dialogs' can process many of them).
Dialog at table closing - you can use 'Table options / Opening & closing / Auto confirmation of table closing / anyway' option if you want.

About partypoker - I don't know.
You can't have 20 tables because 18 is maximum.
You can use Table manager to place tables if you want.

In 888Caption I use the layout editor to change the font sizes of various things - player names, stack sizes, total pot etc. This works great with the default table theme (green table with brown background) but if I try to make font changes using any of the other table themes available in the 888 client nothing changes and I am stuck with the default font sizes. Is there any way to use the layout editor on these table themes too?

Everything is running as administrator and closing/re-opening after making changes makes no difference.

ConwayTwitty, it should work by this way:
1. Change the theme in a poker client settings.
2. Restart the poker client.
3. Use Layout editor.

Layout editor changes fonts in a current layout only, but poker client save the setting what layout is 'current' at a client closing only. So 888Caption can detect layout changing after poker clietnt closing only.

Yes it works. Maybe I'll make a normal site in the future (I'm not a professional in web design - sorry).

This is required equity vs villain, if you want to all-in without fold equity.

why did I loose my licence after todays update?

Sorry for this, but there was a bug in PartyCaption v1.59a, and old-style licenses can be lost after running it. It should be fixed in v1.59b, but you will need to reenter your activation code again (or you can try rename PCaption.ini_bak to PCaption.ini and run v1.59b).

No i do not have that checked. Am i suppose to have that checked or not? Basically i want it to be like this. If im at a table where i have an action but i need some time to think, but i have other tables awaiting action, i want to be able to go to those other tables immediately and fold those hands etc before going back to this table. Does that make sense? Thus i dont want to take so much time on this table where im taking a lot of time, then other tables i get folded. I want to be able to quickly click on other tables to fold quickly then click back on the current table that i need a bit more time.


I have highlight table window colours at action and table pops up in front of action CHECKED AT THE MOMENT. Am i suppose to have table pops up in front of action checked or not?


What about Table pops up and take the focus at action?

This happens like half the time or so. The other half... it would say i finished in X place, then close itself.


2. A very annoying issue i have is i noticed when im playing many tables... many of the tables would flash on the bottom of the taskbar etc.... usually if that was the case, that would mean i have an action on the table. However, it doesn't. Can you tell me why does each partypoker sng table flash when no action is on it? When i was playing say 10 sng tables, it would flash like 8 of them... then i go click on each one to find out well its not my turn to act yet.


3. I'm still having issues with my hotkey. Say my letter E is to raise preflop 2.5x. When i press E, it would minraise. It raises the minimum. Why does it not raise 2.5x when i use those hotkeys? It doesnt matter if im in the sb, button or any other position. Preflop hotkey preflop sizing just min raises.


4. Im still having the layout issues. I tile 4 tables on a 1920x1200 monitor. I want each table that pops up to go over each table. So say i have 12 tables going... i want to see 4 tables. And behind each table, theres 2 tables each etc. Thus 12 tables. Everytime table opens up, it would pop up randomly on my 1920x1200 monitor. I want it to pop up on each quadrant etc. Is there a way to do this? On pokerstars, its easy with the save custom layouts etc.


5. I use my laptop and external monitor. My laptop screen is the screen that i have the partypoker lobby and other lobbies. Basically all tables are my on my external monitor which is my primary screen. It seems each time i bust out of an sng, for some reason, my partypoker lobby would disappear from my laptop screen. I then click on the partypoker program on the bottom and then it would show up in my external monitor. Thus i have to drag the partypoker lobby back to my laptop screen to the left. My laptop is on the left side... my external is to the right. I stopped doing it seemed every so often when i bust out of a table, this happens. Why does the lobby keep disappearing and then showing up in external monitor screen? Thus i want the lobby on the left side at all times.


6. The autoregister sng is pretty good. However, why is it when i open the lobby for an sng to show the payout level... that would disappear each time that sng is finished? Not that big of a deal but is this partypoker or partycaption?


7. When i click on my tournaments, it shows my current tournaments. However, why does it show those tournaments that i finished? Its still there at the moment. Is there a way to get rid of it? Obviously the only ones i want shown are the ones im playing and currently registered.


8. Is there a way to get the tourney tab shown at all times? I have to manually click on that tab. The other issue is the tourney tab does not refresh by itself which is a problem. I assume theres a way to fix this part since having the lobby tab shown but it not refreshing would make it useless.


9. Betscript. I have the settings saved as default except the postflop bet sizing i made changes to it. Is there a way to keep my postflop stuff in there... but don't allow that openraise to work? Example when i play sngs, it would go to 3x the bb when its 30/60 level.

The tournament openraise. I see its 3x then 2.5x then 2x etc and it makes sense since partypoker you get 30000 stacks as oppose to say 1500 or 3000 or 5000 or 10000 on pokerstars. However, is there a way to have different tournament open raise sizes for tournaments and SNGS separately? Since sngs you start with 2k chips or so. You obviously dont want when its 30/60 to show 3x bb thus 180. Also the other thing is i noticed the 3bet betscript. It would go to 3x the initial raise when IP and 4x when OOP. First off, i assume most ppl change this since 4x oop is very large etc? The other thing i wanted to know is... is there a way to not have partycaption make a 3bet size etc? Thus say someone raises at 20/40 to 100. Could it not go to 3x or 4x thus 300 or 400? I assume you make it 0 for everything?


10. Is there any good config for betscript that most players use that seems standard? I would assume the 3bet IP... they have it 2.5x. And if its 3bet OOP, its 3x etc? Also the 4bet i see its 2.25x both ip and oop. Is that standard? I would thought it was more like 2.5x etc.
