Kuta, you can drag the bb bet box by right mouse button. So you can place it on top of the original $$ bet box like here:


There is no option for hide the original bet box, but I can try do it, if you need.

Just purchased 888 caption, very impressed by the product.

My hotkeys and predefined bets don't work when i load HEM2 and my hud pops up. Anything simple i could be missing?

Check run as admin for 888 and 888Caption:


About HM2 - you have to run it as admin too, or you can disable HM2 hotkeys instead:



Without admin rights it can kill 888Captions hotkeys.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask about technical doubts but I didn't find other place. I am a bit curious and while I was playing poker using your software I was wondering how the program works.. and I didn't find an answer.

How do you interact with poker's software GUI? I mean, how do you click a button inside of 888 software? Even, how do you read some values from inside?

Few pages back i saw something about Hooking, but I don't know exactly if it is what you are using here.

Is it some OCR? or even memory dumping?

Sorry, it's a secret. I spent a lot of time to research a poker clients and I can not tell you how I'm doing all these things. I can only say that I am not using OCR - in this case, the operation of the program would depend on a table layout (all my programs can work on any layout).
I can also say that all of my programs use different methods and very different from each other (party is very different from 888, and it needs quite different methods).

You can see it, but white font on a white background is invisible.
You can edit or replace PartyGaming\PartyPoker\Images\NewGameTable\discuss _a_deal.png file to fix it (this is a file with a deal box background)

You can use this file, for example:

Save it with name discuss_a_deal.png and copy with replace to PartyPoker\Images\NewGameTable folder.

Any plans to make Caption available for mac?

Strangely enough I don't seem to find any program that works for mac, not even for PS. There's definitely a market there. Not being a developer, how much effort would go into making Caption mac compatible?

(if any one has leads on bet scripts or other solutions for mac, feel free to shoot!)

I'm having trouble setting up my 3b sizing in 888caption2. I generally want to 3b 3x in position and 3.5x oop -- seems easy enough. So I set it up that way and it's working fine everywhere except blind vs blind. It keeps trying to 3b to 3.5x even tho I'm IP.

1. Turn on Options / Logging / Betscript log
2. Play until the problem
3. Make a screenshot of a table with the problem (with bets/stacks/value in betbox)
4. Close 888Caption, send me the screenshot, 888Caption.log and 888Caption.ini files from 888Caption folder.

Are there any options in Party Caption that automatically shuts down the Table Stacking window that always opens?

i use tableoptimizer for stars. 888caption for 888. I see you have starscaption as well. Where is the link for starscaption? I assume its exactly like 888caption? I use 888caption2. However, it doesn't have the option to raise 1 limper plus 2.5x or 3x etc due to stars changing their TOS right? Because in Tableninja a while back ago, it didn't anymore and neither did tableoptimizer.


For 888caption2, how do i turn off hotkeys while playing in order to chat? On stars, i would turn hotkeys off by pressing a button i put for the hotkey. Then undo it etc. I dont see an option like this for 888caption2 and thus i cannot even chat because of it.
