UTILITY 888/Party/StarsCaption - Page 21 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I can't convert chips to BB for some reason, whenever I type in the numbers in the betbox and press enter it just comes out as a minbet (custom betbox) and the partycaption hud doesn't seem to work either - calling odds stat is visible but it doesn't work.

It works at the cash tables now after rebooting pc but these problems still persist at the tournament tables.

What's the purpose of the Period and Period 2 options out of interest?

Also, given that I have no idea what they are for, what would you suggest I increase them too - Period is currently set to 1 and Period 2 is set to 600?

ConwayTwitty, try to set Period to 100 or 300.

Period is a time in milliseconds between windows (tables, lobby, dialogs, tooltips, etc) processing.
Period 2 is a time in milliseconds between table elements processing.

The software itself and also the support are very good. Had some issues on 888 but LikeAA was very helpful and its all resolved now and 888caption runs very smooth. Thanks.

Hi, is PartyCaption blind timer tag in MTTs working correctly? I am testing it for about a week and it always shows incorrect time to new blind level.

There are two blinds timer tags:
[t] - calculated by PartyCaption, it works for some SnGs only - because PartyCation doesn't know blind periods for all tourneys and this tag doesn't take breaks into account.
[TL_timer] - it works for all tournies. PartyCaption gets the value from the tournament lobby. So the lobby should be opened, or SnG/MTT / Autorefresh [TL_...] tags option should be enabled (it auto opens lobby and hides it).

Hi,

I am thinking of using both partycaption and table optimizer (for pokerstars) at the same time to grind both zoom and party fastpoker.

Will this be okay?

I just want to make sure if there's any known problem with regard to this before I purchase it.

Yes, you can use it with table optimizer. You should configure table optimizer to use hotkeys for table under mouse - in this case you can use same hotkeys in TableOptimizer and in PartyCaption.
You can try it at microstakes before buying.

PartyCaption has several layouts and layout elements that can be installed on the Layout tab. You can create your own custom layout by creating a new subfolder in PartyCaption\Layouts\ folder and copy all layout files into it. After it you can install this layout by one click from PartyCaption. It can be useful to restore your layout any time after partypoker update.

I am new to Partypoker and just bought the Partycaption.

I have two questions,

1. Is there any hotkey option that places the tables to the certain arrangement I set?
For example, Pokerstars has this hotkey in its software and I'd like to press a hotkey and put the partypoker tables next to my pokerstars tables.

2. It seems like I can't color-tag the player at the Partypoker software itself? (Please correct me if I m wrong) Is there any way I can color-tag the player using Partycaption?

1. You can use Table manager to place your tables in certain arrangement. You can create many configurations in it and switch them. But there is no hotkeys for configs switching, sorry. Maybe I'll do it in the future. Now you can switch them only manually on the Table manager tab.
2. You can use partypoker color labels, but they are very small.
You can use color-tag in PartyCaption, try to watch this video about it.

Sorry, I have one question.

For the postflop, when someone bets into me, I pressed the Betting hotkey that I set as ".67% pot + 0bb", so that I can raise his bet, but nothing happened.

It it working fine when I am the first one to act postflop, but someone bets into me, it does not work.

I'd like to raise someone's bet postflop 67%, 75%, 100% something like this...
Could you help me with this?

PartyCaption; Where is the option for turning off right+left click to drag table, I've looked many times but can't find it. And do you know where the colorcoding file in PartyPoker folder is if I want to backup/switch computer?

Also, I'm getting different betsizings from the auto betscript and the buttons I made in the HUD, is this because of rake or something? Anything that can be fixed?

PartyCaption make 10 auto backups for this file with names WatchList_0.txt (most new), WatchList_1.txt, ...
You can rename one of them to WatchList.txt if it will be lost.
Notes.txt keeps the text part of notes, if you use it. But PartyCaption doesn't make backup for this file.
3. Can I see your settings and examples of different betsizings? Send me your PCaption.ini file and table screenshots with different betsizings.

I don't know about such programs for microgaming.
For iPoker you can try iTable (for an old iPoker client) and iPoker Tools (for a new client).
AFAIK iPoker Tools is in beta testing peroid now and so its free.
You can find a thread of these programs on Russian PokerStrategy (I do not know if they have a website or 2+2 thread).

Maybe I'll do something for iPoker in future too.
