Hello I would like to have the option to raise x3 or x5 to a postflop bet how can I configure that by betscripts pls ?

Hi
If you mean StarsCaption, then click Add new bet / Flop / Raise, choose Raise size based on / Bet size
You will have this in result:
FLOP bet>0% 3*raise

This is x3 raise for a flop bet. You can turn on TURN and RIVER in filters for this bet or add new lines for turn and river (if you need another raise sizes for them).

But is there anyway to have the choice to use x3 raise or x5? Because by the method you gave me there's only one raise size available.
By the HUD settings, anyway to do that? Like having pannel with the options "x3 raise" and "x5 raise"?

Piolover, yes you can make HUD buttons if you need them. See here how to do it.
You can use the same formulas there - raise*3 and raise*5

Changed computer to a new one. Is there something I can do to keep all options and setups without starting with a resert program ?

Is there a hotkey in the betscript where you could pot bet no matter if noone limps, or limpers or a raiser or 3bettor or someone bets flop and you want to pot it?

Does turning off aeros have any effect on using any of the captions?

You can use Betting hotkey with a such formula: x1

Some functions will not work on simplified Windows themes (with Aero disabled) - for example Table manager miniature modes in PartyCaption, auto update of TL tags in StarsCaption, and maybe some else.

In 888 caption is it possible to create a table panel or something like to open the lobby?
With this new software yuo have to click on an icon on the upper right side, then chose the option to open the lobby. When playing 20 tables its a disaster...

For tournament lobbies you can use HUD / Table panels / OnClick / Open lobby (or Hotkeys / Lobby)
For the main lobby - General HUD / OnClick / Hide/show lobby (or Lobby / Global hotkeys / Hide/show lobby)

Thanks. But would it be possible to have the x1 as a table panel though like where you click on it and it sets it to pot? I have lot bet sizing in the table panels and like to actually click on it to set the bet percentage as oppose to use hotkeys.

If so, do you just copy it exactly like how i did it on 888caption? Also you cannot make these 2 hotkeys show up in your hud table panel right? Example instead of pressing the letter n to go 3x + each limper... you click on one of the things on table panels? Because for instance, i could raise 2.5x preflop by a few options... the 888poker betting bar... or my hotkey... or... clicking on 2.5x on my table which is in table panels.

Yes - you can add as many HUD betting buttons as you need as described here. And of course you can use this formula there (and any other possible formula too).

Yes 888Caption and PartyCaption have the same formula syntax and you can use the same formulas there (both in Betting hotkeys and HUD betting buttons).

As for StarsCaption - there is no nc variable there, so you can use indirect calculations for callers only. You can find some examples here (there is no way to do it exactly, but for most situations you can choose the right sizing).

Hi, sometimes I'm having issues with the mouse wheel, it gets stuck or it I can't scroll properly with the precision that I need (jumps BBs very fast) and so I can't select the right bet size. I know that it's probably the mouse drivers and the fact that I am using a wireless mouse and trackball at the same time. But either of them has exactly the same wheel behaviour. So I have 2 questions.

1)Is there a setting that I can try in partycaption and starscaption that may fix this issue?

2)Party has + and - minus buttons right and left to the betting bar and they are very helpful in those situations (when the mouse wheel stops working properly). On the other hand pokerstars software doesn't have such buttons. Is there a way to implement them through starscaption?

But it doesn't seem to set the same pot size bet as oppose to when i use my n hotkey as the xl button? Example when someone bets on flop, and i want to pot it, pressing the n hotkey, would set my raise size to where its a pot size bet. But when i click on the pot word on the table panel, it doesn't seem to calculate the right pot size?

1) Do you have this issues in party and stars at the same time, or these are isolated problems?
Try to disable this option in partypoker client: Settings / Bet slider / Enable Mouse Wheel and use only Hotkeys / Mouse wheel in PartyCaption.
Also try to check if Options / Reset hotkeys button can fix this issue (at least temporary).

2) There is no way to add such button in StarsCaption now, but AFAIK you just click on the left/right sides of betslider in Stars for this (with Settings / Gameplay / Bet Slider / Jump to Clicked Position disabled)

Thanks for your answer. I am having those mouse wheel issues for a long time and it has nothing to do with any of the captions. It's probably my PC because it happens on other software too but strangely I have tried 4 different mice and they all have exactly the same issue. Now that I've just started using starcaption, I thought that maybe there is a setting that may help me.

1)Yes I am having similar issues with the mouse wheel in both party and stars. But it's not exactly the same issue and on stars it's way worse, especially now with aurora. On party it happens rarely and it doesn't really bother me because of the -,+ buttons. However on stars the mouse wheel almost never has the precision that I need. It jumps 2-4 BBs although I have set it to move in SB steps. Also sometimes whenever I decrease the bet by one SB step, I can never increase it again, the mouse wheel gets stuck, although I've noticed that it's working just fine at the same time in a browser window.

2)I have tried to click on the bet slider but rarely I was able to set the right bet size. For example each time I want to set it to 2.5 or 3.5 I usually click on 2, 3 or 4. I've searched starscaption and I did find the Bet change section, in the hotkeys tab. Can I set there hotkeys that emulate the mouse wheel +,- behaviour? I'll also try to test with the Jump to Clicked Position option disabled and see if it changes anything.
