I want to download starscaption, its the latest version v0.64a correct?


Now i want to set up starscaption hotkeys and everything exactly like i did on 888caption. But i dont want to use it yet... i want to use it for partypoker so i could move tables around. So do i basically just look at 888caption and do exactly what i did there on starscaption? I want to play on 888 and partypoker only... while using 888caption which i already have and partycaption with partypoker which i already have.



Do i make the table slots on starscaption exactly like with 888caption? Then how do i make it work with partypoker? I know you say you cannot have stars tables opened right? Because even if you have 1 stars table open, this wouldn't work with partypoker even if i have stars open but use another software specifically for stars?

Also its still not possible to use the spacebar to cycle to different tables on partypoker right? That is what i use for other sites like with 888 but you said party has the spacebar do the hand history thing so you can't cancel that right?

Have you tested v0.64b? I need to know if something has changed there for you.

Yes, use v0.64a

Yes you can create slots from Stars tables as in 888Caption. You don't have to create separate slots for 888 and party there, just click Table types / Reset to default to add 888/party table types to the list.

Please read Table manager 2 description at first, there you will find answers to 99% of all questions.

Hi i just looked at table manager 2 and confused.



As of now, i just tableoptimizer for stars. I have everything set up the way i want with table tiling, hotkeys and everything on stars. But they no longer support updates so i cant update stars, otherwise tableoptimizer will not work anymore. The reason why i want to use starscaption as oppose to tableoptimizer is because you mention you can have players actions shown such as fold, call etc on different streets etc and tableoptimizer doesn't have that.



For 888caption and 888, i have table tiling, hotkeys and everything set i want with 888. With partycaption, i have it set up the way i want with party except the moving table issue.



So i downloaded starscaption v0.64a. Right now i just want to use it on partypoker at the moment for the table moving. Thus play on 888 and party... while using 888caption and partycaption... but use starscaption to move party tables to any quadrant i want in my monitors without those 2 tables like just switching places. But i need to set up stars tables first in order to do this on starscaption? Do i need to like open 8 stars tables manually and have them set up the way i want it... tableoptimizer already set up the way where i want it... then i save those table slots? Again, i want to right now set up table slots for partypoker. But could i copy the exact 888 table layout to partypoker and stars itself? That way i dont have to manually do it? I see there is table manager and table manager 2 on the starscaption thing.



Basically i like the partypoker tables to be moved like my 888 tables. I also want my stars table to be moved to like either my tableoptimizer... or like 888 tables... should still be very close etc.



Also if i want to use the same exact hotkeys on stars with starscaption like 888caption, basically go through every table like betscript, hotkeys, hud, lobby etc and just manually copy it right?


Also you can't use hotkey for like raise isolating limpers right? On 888caption, you could like raise (2.5+nc)*1bb with a hotkey. But stars doesn't allow you to do that right with starscaption? However, it allows you hotkey to like 3x someones bet? I see that option of raise*3 but is that preflop raise or postflop raise?

1. Create slots from Stars tables, click Table types / Reset to default and these slots will work for party and 888 tables too.
2. There is no way to move settings from 888Caption to StarsCaption, so you have to configure StarsCaption manually.
3. (2.5+nc)*1bb will not work in StarsCaption, because nc variable is prohibited on Stars. You can use indirect methods to configure complex bets, for example 2.5bb+pot-bb-sb-antes

raise*3 will work for any raise, it just multiplies the latest bet/raise to 3 (on prefolp / unopened pot raise value is 1bb).

Do i need to link my stars account first? It shows no license at the bottom for starscaption.

I have searched the site and have not be able to find any info on this, so I wanted to bring it to you here. Can StarsCaption change table felt color based on a set of parameters? Bb, ITM, or something else?

You can open some tables for observing to create table manager configuration, or you can play at microstakes.

You will need a license if you will play higher than demo stakes at Stars.

1) You can test it with v0.64c or v0.64d also (don't replace this file in this case).

2) Not an original felt, but as it implemented in Table highlight only.

Pot odds are not working with the most recent update. Everything else is, and pot odds were showing intermittently, maybe 5/10 hands, then stopped showing altogether. Still reading "0"

Can you write a log for me?
To do it:
1. Turn on Options / Logging / Betscript log
2. Restart StarsCaption
3. Open one table and play several hands
4. Close StarsCaption
5. Send me StarsCaption.log and StarsCaption.ini files from StarsCaption folder.

Let me check one more thing. I had to run Stars NOT as administrator because it conflicted with my hud. Let me run it as admin and see if the errors still occur.

So everything appears to be working properly, except the player panels for position are associated with the incorrect locations at the tables. Any ideas, or just try sending log files for you to review?

I'm sending a log file. The positioning is all off on the table for the player panels, and the RNG is populating a new number for another position at the table, not mine. Also, the bet box is not appearing, either. All of the CH tags appear to be working properly, but the pot odds are seemingly showing up when the action is on a different player at the table, similar to the RNG. I'll send the files over shortly. Sorry for the multiple posts.

Okay this is what I did with starscaption. First off it still shows license not found as i didn't activate anything yet.



I first opened 8 stars tables and had tableoptimizer opened. That way you see 8 tables but many tables are on different quadrants of each monitor. No big deal as i just drag one table to any of the quadrants of my monitors and it sticks to that spot. So now i see 4 tables on each monitor without overlap. And i can move any table i want to any quadrant so if i move it over to one quadrant which has table already, well it goes over it etc. Anyways i have 8 tables shown now on 2 monitors.



I then closed tableoptimizer. I should do this in case it conflicts with starscaption right?
I then went to starscaption and clicked on table manager 2. I clicked on add opened under slots and then it shows like 8 different things created... like this


R (-1773,-2-822,595) etc.



I then clicked on active and checked it. Under it shows configurations and it seems to be called Layout by default. I then drag my stars table to a different quadrant... but i have the same issue as with partycaption with party tables. If i drag one table to another quadrant which already has a stars table, it basically switches these tables in different spots. Example whether its me moving stars table on quadrant 1 of my 2nd monitor to a spot on my 1st monitor or 2nd monitor, it switches places. How do i fix this? Is there something i need to check/uncheck here?


Do i need to do the same thing on table manager? I basically went to table slots and i deleted like 6 of the slots that are default... then clicked add opened then i see like 8 of these created. It shows this is the 3x2. But do i need to add a new config here? Im comparing this to 888caption and i see i have new config as the config im using on 888.



I then just created new config and added opened so i see 8 of them now. I even clicked on stack under table slot options as i see i did this with 888caption. But when i move tables, it just switches spots with other stars tables?



I see what you say with the table manager 2 and table types where if you click reset to default, it can add 888 and party. But right now im trying to first get this to work with stars first. What mistake am i missing here? I cant imagine starscaption has this same issue like partycaption right when moving tables to different quadrants of the monitor since you said starscaption would work for what i want done on partypoker?



As of now, my 3x2 config when i click on it, it shows nothing in the table slots. Do i need to recover this or how i do this? Thanks.

Select every slot in a list one by one and turn on Stack option for each.
You can delete 3x2 config if you don't need it.

Hi i did that. I notice one issue that is annoying. When i have the stars tables opened, they go exactly where i go and there is zero overlap like at the edges. But when i open partypoker tables, there is a bit overlap on the edges where it would block a bit off the corner/edges so there is a bit of overlap. Is that normal? Do i need to fix where the table spots are at on stars in order to fix this for party?



Okay so im only suppose to use table manager 2 or i could use 1 as well when say playing on stars only? I basically have everything on table manager 1 and 2 the same.



So basically uncheck the active on partycaption in table manager and check active in the starscaption table manager 2 when playing on party right? That way it would work for party?



Now what if i want to play on stars and party the same time? Then i cannot use this feature on party then right? I assume i could but the only way to do this would be turn off everything for stars on starscaption to make it not active so i could use the table tiling for party while also using partycaption. Then with my stars tables, use tableoptimizer? Or is that not possible?



The thing is i usually play either all on stars, stars and 888 at same time, or party and 888 same time or only play party. I have tried playing stars and party tables same time but it was very annoying with the table moving etc. Thus when i use tableoptimizer with stars and 888caption with 888, its very smooth moving tables around etc.


Also in the table manager 2 with table types, i see

Since i have no issues with 888caption and tiling tables, i should delete both the 888 new table nlh and old table right?

I also noticed if i have active box checked in table manager on partycaption like i do always and have it checked on starscaption, the party tables are shaking. The same when i have it on 888caption and starscaption and 888 tables shake. So basically make sure only 1 of them are checked right since these 2 checking active will conflict with each other? I saw this earlier on party tables and then unchecked active table manager on partycaption and then saw same with 888 tables.
