PaulyJames200x, you can try to use Table manager 2 in StarsCaption for this purposes - it can work with partypoker tables too.

Hey there. So it does work or you are not sure about it. What im confused is why does 888caption work great for all of this but partycaption is different. Is it the way the party software is or something? The thing is i cant imagine lot of ppl playing on party and playing lot of tables and having to manually move tables to each quadrant since if they do that, they want to move it accurately since if they don't, there will be overlap.

PaulyJames200x, Table manager in PartyCaption was made several years earlier than in 888Caption and it has other possibilities. It is unlikely that I will develop it in the future - instead, I will develop Table manager 2 in StarsCaption and you can use it. You can use it also if you will not play at Stars - and in this case you can use it for free. By default it can handle Stars, 888 and party tables, but you can add any other table types there.

As of now, im using another program for stars at the moment tableoptimizer because it works perfectly for stars. But they no longer will support it soon so i need to use another program and 888caption works great so i thought okay i will use starscaption in the future.



But as of right now, partycaption cannot do what i do with the moving tables right? The reason i ask this is because i need to renew my subscription for it. But if i use starscaption now along with partycaption now, I never used starscaption ever... can i do what i want to do now with party tables or i have to wait until you develop table manager 2 in stars caption first? im bit confused when you said earlier you can use table manager 2 on starscaption now with party.

There is no auto activation for alien rooms in Table manager2, and StarsCaption can handle Stars tables only for this.
But table placement can be configured for any poker room. Auto activation for non-stars tables should be configured in a poker room or in some other program. For example, you can try to configure a separate stack for 888poker tables, and configure an auto-activation for them in 888 client or in 888Caption. Or course you can't make a multi-room stacks in this mode, because there are no multi-room activator, but you can configure different stacks for different rooms and try to use it in this mode.

If you play without auto-activation (with a simple tile mode), then you can configure it for any room (tables of different rooms will be placed to a one grid, you can swap them by mouse or by hotkey, etc)

Is this someting you could consider to make? Would increase the value of your software tremendously. Currently i have to use StackandTile to get this done.

Apparently Pokerstars have started forcing the new Aurora graphics engine in Portugal, will this break a lot of functionality in StarsCaption if they implement this everywhere?

Yap, I can confirm. Since yesterday that we are using the shiitty aurora graphics in our client and no option to rollback to old themes... Seems that we will no longer be able to use starscaption there.

StarsCaption hasn't Aurora support, but I hope I'll be able to add it in the future.
I don’t know how long it will take - and in reality I still do not have an Aurora option in my PokerStars.com client, so it’s hard for me to work on it.

I'm working on the Aurora support for Stars now, and I don't know how long it will take. Portugal players (PokerStars.pt) are forced to use Aurora a few days ago, so most likely other Stars users will be moved to it in coming months.
For this reason I have to do a support of it right now, and this is a difficult task (comparable to writing a program for a new room).

I hope that I can do at least partial support in the next couple of weeks, but full support is likely to take significantly more time.

Is it possible to paste like say 10 names at once in the PartyCaption (or PP) note editor (maybe files PCaptionNotes). also is it possible to somehow sort the names from A to Z?

attackernone, I'm not sure what do you want exactly. What names do you want to paste and how?

PartyCaption notes are sorted in Options / Player Notes Editor dialog.
As for direct editing of PCaptionNotes.txt, NewNotes.txt or NewNotesColor.txt - you can try to use any possible ways to edit them (I don't have any special tools for this except Player Notes Editor).
