Hello, Swedish users are now playing on a Swedish client on partypoker as of 1st of January. My PartyCaption no longer works, I think I need to re-register partycaption? can you help me with this?

At the moment PartyCaption doesn't support the partypoker.se client.
I'll try to add a support ASAP, and after it I will need your License ID to move a license.

For Swedish PartyCaption users:

PartyCaption v1.84h is available now, it should work with partypoker.se
Let me know if you will have any issues with it.
Also I will need your new License ID to move a license (new License ID should have #24 or #74 at the end of it). Contact me via PM / email / Skype and I'll move your license to partypoker.se.

It's not letting me request a license ID, partycaption shuts down as soon as I open partypoker with the error you have no license or something like that.

Gele, to get a License ID:
1. Run partypoker and log in, don't open any tables (PartyCaption will be automatically closed if you have opened any tables higher than demo stakes)
2. Run PartyCaption.

Don't forget to configure partypoker.se to run as adimn (or most of PartyCaption features will not work there).

Sorry, but I don't know. StarsCaption hasn't a such feature, because PokerStars.com (and all other Stars clients AFAIK) has it.

But seems this new PokerStars.se client hasn't it and I don't know why (perhaps this is a requirement of the Swedish regulator).
I'll try to check if it possible to add a such feature to StarsCaption in the future.

So i notice i had this issue for quite a while now. On 888 tables on the tournaments, i would have like a big bold number for every players BB. Thus if a player has 20bb, it would show 20 next to the player and every player. I also put it for myself and on the top corner as well. My BB stack size. I notice many times, the BB stack in bold in the top corner which is my BB is not there. Sometimes that disappears for all the players at my table. The only way to fix this issue is to close 888caption and open it up again. The issue is many times it would show the BB stack for everyone including myself and the one on the top corner... but after a while it would disappear. Thus i cant have the BB stack showing for myself or other players.


Is this a known bug? Everytime i open 888caption, if there is an update, i update it. I notice that when 2 tabling on 888poker earlier, one table had no issue with the BB stack size, other table the BB stack size is not there in the top corner and sometimes not there for the other players i believe. Im not 100 percent sure on this, but 100 percent sure the bb stack size of myself i put on top corner of table is no longer there.

PaulyJames200x, both 888poker client and 888Caption must be configured to run as admin by this way:


888Caption HUD can disappear if 888poker client hasn't admin rights.

I had that checked a long time ago. But when i open 888caption and these programs, i just open it as is as oppose to right click and open when i didn't have that checked.

Try to check it again.
Also check if you have any red messages in License / Diagnostics.

Hello. Resume play on all tables with a hotkey didnt work on starscaption at pokerstars.se. Is it possible to choose "i am back" at all tables?

Every 30 minutes there is a popupmessage from partypoker.se and pokerstars if you want to continue playing. Nice if caption can handle this in the future.

Yes, some features don't work at pokerstars.se now and I hope I will be able to fix them in the future. I can't play at the tables there, so I can't check StarsCaption in full with .se client - but most of Stars clients have the same features/changes, so most likely I'll be able to fix it after the next PokerStars.com client update.

As for popup message - please take screenshots of these messages, I'll try to make an options to handle them.

PinApple, it seems you have a 16bit color in your display settings.
Try to to configure a True color there.

Hey, I tried to set some preset betsizings in the "betscript" section for partycaption, I also pressed "active" but the preset betsizings don't seem to work. Any idea how it can be caused or is it a bug in the software..?

partypoker client must be run as admin as described here - betscript will not work without it.
