Hey,

I have a bug on Starscaption, with the [%] HUD table panel tag.
I forgot to take a screenshot when it happened, but basically in this hand, when facing the shove from Villain, the pot odds displayed were 52% (which obviously is impossible, pot odds can't be above 50%)

It's not the first time I've seen this but I don't remember the exact scenario where it happened, could there be a problem in the pot odds formula you're using when facing a shove or something?

so you can win only 20.15-0.9 in this hand, and pot odds = 10/(20.15-0.9)=51.9%

Thanks for the quick reply, that's actually amazing, I didn't think it would take rake into account.

How does your software know how much rake is? Do you get it directly from the Pokerstars software or do you set it manually in Starscaption?

I'm asking because I play on Pokerstars.fr and rake is different from your example. NL10 (zoom excluded) would be 6% with 1.25€ cap, and NL10 zoom would be 5% with 1.25€ cap. Does Starscaption adjust?

I set it manually in StarsCaption, and rake values are hardcoded for PokerStars.com USD NLHE tables (I took the values from pokerstars.com site). For all other tables/rooms rake will not be calculated correctly, and seems in your case too (but it will still be better than not taking it into account at all).

Ok, I'll try to set the correct rake values for fr/es/pt pool too in future versions.

under the Hud tab there is the option to "show panel.... only if caption contains"

how can i add more than 1 value to it?, can i put a range in there?, like between 50 and 100?

Sorry, no (but maybe I'll add a such feature in the future).
For now you can add a several copies of this panel with different options there (i.e one copy for 50 and 2nd copy for 100).

tried that, but it didn't really work (doesnt work for 2 digits) + sometimes it would show, although it is excluded (5% of the time maybe?)

In PartyCaption is there any way to prioritize which HUD elements appear in what order if you layer them on top of each other? I'm trying to create an all black panel that sits behind other hud elements.

Can you tell me why this is happening all of a sudden? I used to get actual preview screens of the inactive tables now I just get these colored blocks. Thanks.

1. It works at Windows Aero themes only (i.e it will not work at simplified Windows themes)
2. Try to enable Table manager / Alternatimve miniature highlight option

Hey,

I can't seem to get the chips to bb going for tournaments at bwin (so partycaption)- I'm a complete newbie to this software, so would appreciate any help

I have the convert chips to bb checked for tournaments and hud is activated, but nothing happens (works for CG when I tried though) - any idea what could be the reason and how to fix this?

heck, I knew it would be something ultra simple. I figured that I have to run partycaption as admin but haven't thought of the client. It works now.

Hey,

Another question - is there a way to add a panel (or other way of doing this) so that I can see stack in bb for opponent while also seeing the actual chip count? Since 'convert chips to bb' replaces the chip count with number of big blinds I was wondering if I can have both displayed at the same time?

Or alternatively - switch between the two with a click on the table, without having to open partycapyion and turn the function on/off

I tried to create a panel which shows chip count in bb for every V, but couldn't do that

Auto time bank doesn't work for me with party caption if I haven't invested money in the pot. I've tried both "active + activate time" and "activate at the end of the main time" but it doesn't work.

I have the newest version and caption + party poker both running as admin.

fulltard, it was a partypoker bug, but it has been fixed in today's party update.
Did you check this after the update?
What version of PartyCapiton do you use?

It doesn't work at partypoker.com, because there are no individual waiting lists for tables (but probably it still works at some old-syle poker clients like nj.partypoker).

Is there any way to use formulas to change a numerical value to a string in the HUD? For example when I play spin n gos [cnt] is either going to be 2 or 3 but is it possible to have that show up as HU (heads-up) or MW (multi-way) instead?

The closest thing to this, what you can do in PartyCaption:
1. Create two HUD panels, 1st with text "HU" and 2nd with text "MW".
2. Configure a Background / Color range for both of them, and use a [cnt] tag as a formula.
3. Configure Color range there to highlight a 1st panel for [cnt]=2 and 2nd for [cnt]=3 (for all other cases you can configure its background color to same as a font color - black on black for example).
