I am using mouse wheel to change a bet sizing in PartyCaption. I would appreciate if you can fix one little "bug". Everytime in postflop action when I want to make a minimum bet 1bb (usually in limped BvB spot), the bet slider value drops down to zero (so it is impossible to bet and you have to click on bet button twice). Can you set it up same way as it is preflop? That means that slider drops to minimum possible bet 1bb and not all the way to zero? I hope it is clear . Thanks.

Hi there. Is there option whether its 888, party or stars where it shows the action on the table? Like you play lot of tables and not sure who raised preflop etc. A while back i recalled i tried thhis on pokerstars but this was with holdem manager i believe and in that thread, they said its been a while since they allowed it due to stars no longer allowing certain 3rd party software etc. Such as it showed check, check, bet and action on you. I only used that once maybe and thought it was neat but then took it out because i rather follow the action myself.

Hi there. So i did this on player panels and added a new panel and it has the word actions.


So when i do this, every player will have something like x x for checking right? So when there is a preflop raiser, that oR always stays for that player and thus it shows that for every single player for each action they do?


Another thing. I tried this on a cash game table and everytime my stack was below the buyin, i keep getting that same message of asking to rebuy. How do i get rid of this annoying message? It should rebuy automatically.

Use HUD / [country] tag config to configure this tag.
There is Use abbrevation for the [country] tag value option, with it will work as before. Or you can configure your own short name for every country there, like in 888Caption and ParyCapiton (for example you can use UK for United Kingdom instead of GB).

How you think, what is the probability that this is a false alarm?

I just uploaded PokerStars.exe to that site and fprot also found some malware there (it seems this is a very "good" antivirus).




In 888poker.exe it also found W32/Felix:EX:001!Eldorado

Starscaption, is it somehow possible to color range the converted chips for stacksizes?

I guess one way to do it is using the player panels in the HUD, right? But if we could do it directly in the convert chips Tab, that would be way easier.

Yes, the only way is to use HUD tags for this.
You can also to hide an original stacks by Convert chips / Hide stacks
Use [stack_bb][a] tags combination for this as described here, it will work like this:

Hey, I've been having problems with StarsCaption lately.

I've set up several custom betting buttons (table panels with onClick=Bet) as well as one player panel with onClick=Find player. It used to work perfectly until recently (like a week or two ago), where the buttons won't work. The HUD is still displayed correctly, the other features work correctly (betscript or table manager), but clicking on my HUD buttons doesn't do anything. Right clicking to move the HUD panels doesn't work either.

I had found a workaround where it seemed like a combination of reinstalling StarCaption and rebooting the computer seems to fix it temporarily, but today I've tried everything and I can't get it to work.

I've tried "Hovering HUD" on and off, no difference.
And sometimes (but a lot less often) the delayed actions don't work either.

Any idea?


EDIT: oh and btw, the link to the twoplustwo support thread in the options tab is wrong

The reset hotkeys button doesn't do anything.
I've tried adding StarsCaption and Pokerstars to the antivirus exception list, no change.
I've tried closing every other program until I only had StarsCaption and Pokerstars running, no change either.

Basically, when I start StarsCaption sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I just keep restarting it until it works (I figured out that rebooting the computer doesn't actually help).
And I don't think I've ever seen it suddenly stop working, it seems like if it starts correctly, it's good until I close it.


Another detail that might help: it seems like when it doesn't work the HUD is considered "transparent" in regard to clicking.
For example, I have a HUD player panel displaying the stacks in BB, with the onClick=Find Player. When the HUD buttons don't work, if I double click on the player panel, Pokerstars is the one intercepting the clicks and it opens the notes for the player. The HUD panel is there but doesn't "block" the clicks like it does when it's working correctly.

rogorz, are both StarsCaption and PokerStars client run as admin as described there?
Also some other programs with mouse hooks can affect - it can mouse or screenshot utility or something like this (if it hasn't admin rights).

Yes both are run as admin.
As I said I've tried to close every other program and it still doesn't always work. I've used StarsCaption without any problem for months, so if it's caused by another program it has to be one I've installed recently, and I can't figure out which one. I guess I'll keep searching, at least I know restarting it several times makes it work eventually

It could also be some Windows updates that messed something up, but in that case I can't really do much about it
