In StarsCaption you can use [preflopAction] tag in HUD / Table panels. It displays last preflop action on a table in the following format:
- none - there is no any action except folds
- Rx Cx - number of preflop raises and number of calls after the last raise, if any.
Examples:
R0 C2 - two limpers, there were no raises
R1 - was an open raise without callers (maybe there were limpers before the raise, but this information is not displayed here)
R1 C1 - open raise and one call after it
R2 C2 - 3bet and two calls after it
R3 - 4bet

Hi, my question is about PartyCaption.

Under HUD tab -> Table Panels, I am trying to set up a new HUD panel, which will show the Breakeven % for bluffing (how often the bluff will need to work to be 0 EV).

I am using this formula, but it seems to not work? (This is just Risk/(Risk+Reward) ) :

ReqFE: {[PreBetSize]/([PreBetSize]+1)}

I'm using the {} brackets for formulas, and have () to make sure the order of calculation is correct. I am using PreBetSize (which itself is a %), since I can't find any other tag which corresponds to the currently chosen betsizing.

So if I'm betting 75% pot, this should do 0.75/(0.75+1) = 3/7 . What actually gets returned is just the betsize, I'm not sure where I'm going wrong with the formula, and I don't see any easier way of setting something like this up.

LimpAll-In, try to use a such formula:
{betbox/(betbox+pot)}

Or {100*betbox/(betbox+pot)} if you want to get a percentage.

ya, the stack issue I realize I can make a HUD showing stack only for hero.. but thats not quite what I mean. The software's one.. the placement. As least I'd like to make it go away and use only the HUD's

1. I don't know, sorry. You can probably find a file with this picture somewhere in the layout files and edit it.
2. There is no way to move it, sorry. You can only display it via HUD.
3,4. I don't know, sorry. Try to ask table layout developers, maybe they can help you with it.

You can configure the [actions] tag to display actions with sizings, see here.

Also you can try to use [sizing] tag - it shows the same, but for the latest action only.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I think you should consider creating a version for GG poker as it is going to become the biggest online poker site in the immediate future, if it's not there already.

I also have a another question. Is there a way to display the bounty value in Big Blinds in starscaption and then taken into account in pot odds calculations? If it's prohibited by PS is there a way to create a custom HUD tag? Something like a formula where I'd manually input the average bounty value in chips (the same standard number in my games) divided by the big blind in chips. So for example 500 chips bounty/100 chips BB and then display the 5 result above the player. The starscaption will only have to automatically input the big blind level. Or it could be something similar that I can't think of right know, that will help me in bounty calculations without having to look at chips or big blind level. Again thanks for the help.

1. I have absolutely no time for any new software, but I'll think about it.
2. Yes it's prohibited by Stars. I asked them about it, but they forbade any automatic calculations from the bounty - and for this reason StarsCaption has [bountyVal] tag, but it can't be used in formulas (bounty values in big blinds too).
As for manual input of some custom vaules for formulas - I'll try to think about it.
For now you can try to enter any custom value to bet box and use betbox variable in formula.

Having trouble buying a license for BorgataPA. On the License tab, The License ID isn't populating when I log in. Running both client and PartyCaption as admin.

Also when I log in, in the bottom right, it says Unknown License state waiting login after I've already logged in
