I'm having issues on 888.


So I need to uninstall and reinstalling the 888 software is a must right? Everytime i try to spin the wheel, program freezes and crashes everytime. Then when im playing tournaments, it keeps autofolding my hands everytime? It kept autofolding me every single time.


During the entire time my hands are folded, I have 888caption opened and it still made me autofold. This is a 888 software issue right?

It is possible for notes tooltips - see Layout editor / Show Aurora tooltips in HUD popup.

As for note editor - I tried to increase the font there and it works. But in result note editor starts working incorrectly - you can see only the top part of the note, but you cannot scroll it down. It can be useful if you use only short notes, but it cannot be used with long notes.
I'll experiment with this further, maybe I can find some workable solution.

I have no idea what can be a reason of your issues.
At first try to check how it works without 888Capiton. If it works the same way then contact 888 support.
If it works by this way with 888Caption only, then check this:
1. You have the latest version of 888Caption.
2. Check all main settings from this list.

Hey there, im still having these issues. But when you auto reg those on demands... all this is done in Favorites tab right and then sit and go?


For some reason the on demand bounty builders are the only sngs starscaption does not autoregister.

Also with the new aurora layout, my hud blocks so many things now even when i move it. I use hem 2 hud.


I also notice in the tourney info... its changed where you have to scroll down on tourney info to see more information such as large stack/medium stack/smallest stack and how many minutes till the next blind level. Previously it was right there. I know it does show how many minutes till the next blind level on the top right but my hud for a player blocks it.


Does starscaption have a table/player panel where it would tell you how many minutes is the next blind level change? Example like in 3 minutes, it would show 3... in less than a minute it show <1? Like I like to put that somewhere on the stars table... since i don't want to scroll down in the tourney info to get there... and since my hud blocks that info in the top right.

Try to make the Type column in a lobby wider (in such a way that the name of the tournament is fully visible).

I'm using PartyCaption on Bwin. I have 4 miniature slots and 1 large slot. I press the bind button. When I activate this layout the tables stay miniature and never move to the slot.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you add the option to auto click this pop up after registering an mtt please?

Hi. Stars Caption/ SnG Registrator does not work with 16man HT satelites.
I am testing it and it supports any other sng except these.

Send me this Table manager config, I'll check it.

Turn on Dialogs / You successfully registered to Tournament
and also turn on Postprocess dialog delay.

There is a problem with tournaments with long names, the names of which are drawn in different colors in the lobby - for example the name of a such SnG is mostly blue, but the end ("2 Seats" on the end) is green.
Make the Type column of SnG list in lobby wider - so that the name of the tournament is visible in its entirety (or at least begin of green part is visible). After this SnG registrator should work correctly with these SnGs.

Is that why i have issues having starscaption auto reg bounty builder on demands? I did what you said which was make the name of the tournament visible and when i did it, it did seem to reg it. But when i unreg it. Then click active again, it no longer regs. I then closed starscaption and opened it again and click active and it does not auto reg the bounty builder on demands.


When i use starscaption to auto reg the 3.50s, 5s and 11s 90 man progressive sng, there is no issue at all. I did notice with those... the tournament name isn't that long like on the on demand one. But i still made the tournament visible with the bounty builder on demands?

first of all, great piece of software.


i use table highlights to recognize the final table in the 16man sattelite shootout. It is not recognized by the "final table" option in table highlights. So i used "number of players in tournament <=4" and that worked fine.

However i am suddenly having problems now with the table highlights. When i use "number of players in tournament" it doesnt work. After goofing around a bit with it it seems like it thinks that the number of players in the tournament is 0 for all tournaments, i can't fix this on my own and need your help.

(i run both programs as admin)

Yes, do it fully visible if it has more than one color in its name.

Try to check what value [CH_countPlayers] displays on that tables and let me know if it works wrongly there - and if it so, then please show me a screenshot of a such table, I'll try to test it there. (pay attention that CH tags will work on a table where you play only and it doesn't work on observed tables)

It doesn't work. It doesn't autoreg. I have the full words visible. Earlier it did work but it took a long time to reg it. Then once i unreg it... then reg again, it never regged. Shouldn't starscaption auto reg it immediately like it does with the other sngs?

I have another question on the tabling tileing with stars/888/partycaption. I mentioned how i use two 24' 1920x1200 monitors where i have 4 full size tables on each monitor so 8 total. So anymore tables, they are behind each of those tables etc. I made that as my layout. But i also made a second layout where it would tile 6 tables on each monitor. I tested to see if i like it or not but did not because tables are a bit too small for me... but the hud was hard to look at. So that way i could get 12 tables total but its way too hard to look at the cards/chips and decided to stick with 4 tile tables on each monitor.


I will most likely either get a big tv as a monitor... 43' 4k. Then that way i would tile big tables. I read someone with a 40' said they could do 12 full size tables easily. So wouldn't that mean with a 43', its possible to do 15 full size tables?



Now my main issue is this. I also thought of getting a 32' 4k monitor. You would never recommend using a 32' 4k monitor with a 24' 1920x1200 monitor right?


Because if I do that, the tables would look very weird when tiled? For example...if i have it the default table size on my 24' 1920x1200 monitor... will it be exact same size as on the 32' 4k monitor? Obviously if the 24' was a 27' or 28' 4k monitor, it wouldn't be an issue. Would all the tables on both monitors be same size? For example, I don't want the tables on my 1920x1200 monitor to look small like when making it 6 tables on the monitor. Like if i have it 4 big size tables on it... would it be big size table on the 32' 4k?



I know if i were to get two 32' 4k monitors... well that would solve the issue but i dont want to spend that much money for 2 monitors.

Pauly you're asking about personal preference, no-one can answer that for you. I can tile 12 tables on one of your 24 inch monitors no problem whereas you prefer tables larger, you'll just have to get a new monitor and see what works for you.
