"put sizing next to actions" is not a good idea - you will have doubled last action in this case.
Click [action] tag config button and turn on sizings there as shown in this video.

As for cards - turn off these cards option on the Layout tab in you don't need them and reopen the table.

Yes this option doesn't work with a new 888 lobby, it will be fixed in future versions.
Many other options for the new lobby don't work too (SnG registrator, lobby hotkeys, etc)

Is there an option in Partycaption to not popup tables in Partypoker? It's annoying when I write my notes then other tables popup, I have to click again on the note editor to continue writing. Is there an option in Partycaption? I tried looking for it but can't find the option.

personalpokercoach, if you use PartyCapiton text notes, then turn off all options for auto activation in the poker client (Options / Multi-tabling / Action alerts) and turn on Options / Popup table whenever action is required in PartyCaption.

If you use text partypoker notes - sorry, there are no options to prevent table activation in this case.

but i could not find the button to send hotkeys to table without moving my house above the table, is there such function? For example i tile 6 tables (3x3) and i want to move from table 1 to 2 without moving my mouse, is that possible? I tried the cycle stack but it doesnt seem to work.

You can only use auto activation (Options / Popup table whenever action is required + Mouse jump to table) or manual activation (Hotkeys / Most urgent table + Mouse jump to table)

2. You can use any big formula like 999bb

This setting can be reset after a client update, and some options in 888Caption will not work without it.

Looking over the tutorials and I have a question regarding using these products in conjunction with each other. If playing on 888/party/stars simultaneously is it necessary to setup and have 3 programs running at once or once I purchase all 3 can the program work for them.

I didn’t see any mention in the tutorials about using these products at the same time so any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I’m specifically curious whether layouts can work as one or are site specific.

You can use them at the same time, use the same keys for the same hotkeys in all programs, etc - you don't need any specific configuration for this.
For table placement you can use Table manager 2 in StarsCapiton - it can work with any table types, so there shouldn't be any conflicts.

Lobbies on Partypoker now only shows players I have made notes on a long time ago. Any more recent notes do not seem to show up in the lobby. Is this a bug or are colored lobby notes just not allowed any more?

partypoker stores notes on a server side now, and PartyCaption hasn't access to them (previously it was local file so it was possible for PartyCaption to read notes from this file).

For now PartyCaption reads note backup file NewNotesColor_0.txt (if you use v2.05a or higher), and it displays notes from this file. Also new notes will be added to this file, if they were made by the Set note hotkey. All other notes (made manually via party interface or made in replayer) will be not saved to this file and will be not displayed in lobby for this reason.

I just noticed a small thing, in the table manager, if the name of the configuration is too long to fit in the box, there is no way to see the complete name. Could you add a way to see the full name? (maybe a tooltip when I mouse over the name, or just a horizontal scrollbar).
It's obviously not an urgent matter, I just thought I should report it :P

In 888Caption2 v2.58 I am able to assign F1, F2 and F3 to hotkeys. I've tried this on Party caption v1.87f7 and Starscaption v0.72f and cannot get it to work. In party/stars caption I go to hotkeys>basichotkeys>click on the field for the option I want to add hot keys for(I've tried Check/Fold, Call and Fold). When I press F1, F2 and F3 it does not accept them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know if all players now have to use aurora on stars now? Back not long ago, someone said there was a way to disable aurora... but that is not possible now?



I use starscaption and the theme i used with stars has been mercury. If i were to change the theme from mercury to classic or black or carbon... do i need to make changes in starscaption to match the stars setting? Such that if i were to change the theme to say classic or black, then there would be issues with starscaption and stars because the theme doesn't match? I recall a while back I read some issue on this like it has to match the table theme?


Also if you have to use aurora, what theme are you all using? My main theme has always been mercury as im used to it. But from this thread, it seems like carbon or black are the best themes to prevent lag? Is that correct?



And mercury is bad? I do see classic and saloon as options. I do not like how carbon looks nor saloon. Classic and black looks okay. But can others confirm here that carbon and black theme are the best to prevent lag? I don't see anyone mention anything about mercury theme which is the one i been using for a while.

I don't know what can be a reason of this - maybe you have these keys already assigned to some global hotkeys on the Lobby tab, for example.
Try to close all other software where these keys can be configured as hotkeys, and also check all other tabs in StarsCaption with hotkeys (Lobby tab, Table manager tab).
Let me know if you can't find a reason.

There are a small number of users who are still playing with the old engine. It's harder now to get back to it, but it's still possible.

As for Aurora themes - you can use any of them and you don't need any changes in StarsCaption settings after switching to another theme.

I got it working now. I was still using another hotkey program alongside 888caption while setting up stars/party caption and had F1-3 in use with it. Had no issues once I closed that software. Thanks a lot, great support.

StarsCaption - is it possible to add an option to edit font sizes in the notes window? They're tiny!
