Since party update, player action is not showing up.
How to fix this ?

I have recently changed to StarsCaption and I am looking to know how to get each player history to show up something like this :

b33/X/C75 - (similar to the histories on stars helper is what I'm looking for)

I am in Player panels under the hud section but cant find the correct format string.

I have tried both sizing's/player actions though these don't seem to be right.(one having % sign and keeps disappearing at each street)

Anyone know the correct format string for what I am looking for?

The format string is just [actions], then you can click on the "[actions] tag config" button to configure it.

1. Check if both PartyCaption and partypoker client are configured to run as admin (sometime it resets after update).

2. If nothing helps, then try to downgrade to v2.04
PartyCaption v2.05 works with the latest poker client version only and doesn't support any earlier versions, and it seems in some cases poker client is not fully updated. There is no easy way to find what version of the poker client you have, so just check if v2.04 works with it (or try to reinstall partypoker client manually).

my pokerstars client is crashing (closing or freezing & giving error message "please restart client") can this by any means be related to starscaption?

If that happens in aurora you have user.ini corrupted. Contact pokerstars support!

Does anyone know this pbgwebrenderer.exe from party ?

My client sometimes freezes and i need restart the program, its getting very annoying. Does somebody here have a solution for this issue??

AFAIK this is a party module to display a web content in a poker client (cashier, log in window, My Game, etc.)
In some cases, it can really consume a lot of CPU - apparently there are some errors in its work.

In most of cases you can just kill it via Task manager after logging in - it will not have any effect on the game (although some other things like replayer or my game may not work).

Also you can try to delete this folder:
c:\Users\{Windows user name}\AppData\Roaming\cef3-cache-3359\Party\
There is a folder with its cache, and maybe there is some wrong data was cached in it.

Since the last update, the HUD's [startStack_bb+] and [stack_bb] doesn't show up.
Actually it seems that all the player panels are disappeared.
I had color ranges set for them, but now it seems that some of the options became active on the Fonts tab and they are controlling the client's default stack, bet and total pot sizes. (They are set to black for some reason...)
I have tried 2.04, same issue.

Try to check if both partypoker client and PartyCaption are configured to run as admin as described here (and you don't have any red messages in the License / Diagnostics).
Try 2.04 and 2.05, and let me know if anything works for you with one of these versions.
Let me know if nothing helps.

I was running them as admin.
Anyway, it's working fine with 2.04 now.

stars just forced aurora on us.. how will this impact StarsCaption?

yeah so starselper is dead, whats the official site for starscaption and this

yup starshelper already announced they will not be supporting aurora

for caption how does this affect:
- autobetsizing?
- hotkeys?
- hud (copy player name with click mouse)?
- auto time bank etc?
- chips to bb?
- frames?
- table manager?

will these all keep working or will certain things not work? if so, which one?

everything works (+ some stuff that didn't work non aurora!)

Q: when i play spins, the info tab on the top right is auto closed (shows price pool/blind level/time left), is there any way to change this? (was auto open with non aurora)

Pokerstars has launched the "aurora graphics" for the pokerstars client.

does StarsCaption still work on the new Pokerstars "aurora graphics" client ?

Everything works with Aurora. You even have more control over the client now.

Aurora player notes pop up is reduced to unreadable font sizes. It would be good to have control of that too. Or a OnHover option too see player notes.

I'll try to check if it possible to do.
For now you can try to configure one of Click on point hotkeys for it and use it on any new table.

With Starshelper as good as gone there is some business coming your way. I just installed StarsCaption and using the trial. Already got some things going but there is some stuff that isnt working like I want it to.

1. Stars is showing the stack with two bb decimals...like 161.16 bb. Under HUD in StarsCaption (SC) I even found a box that says bb decimals 2 and on the left I checked the active box. In the stars software under betting slider I have predefined bet buttons with 2.45bb and 2.65bb. It did bet that amount yesterday when running it without SC. So when I clicked on the button the bet size was 2.45bb or 2.65bb. Now with SC running it either bets 2.5bb (for 2.65bb) and 2bb (for 2.45bb). Cant really use two bb decimals. What am I doing wrong?

2. Same goes for mouse wheel. Under the tab hotkeys and bet change I have WheelUp and WheelDown in it and used 0.19bb for Inc and Dec bet. However it only uses 0.5bb no matter what. In the stars client I have adjust bet size with the small blind checked but it seems I either have to use bb or sb cause I cant uncheck it. How can I use other amounts? Enable hotkeys is checked in that tab.

3. With the stars software I only have the four predefined boxes for betting. Is there a way I can create some sort of overlay with more options. Like maybe 6 or 8 predefined sizes? And if so...can you show me in detail how to do that?

4. Under the tab betscript I tried to use the advanced script but the bets are not who I want them. I clicked on add new bet/preflop/uopened pot and used 2.65bb for cash (game type), preflop (street) and all positions but BU, SB and BB. If I am first to act the bet box only show the min bet of 2bb. The formula says PREFLOP EP1....CO Cash bet<=1bb 2,65bb What am I doing wrong here? I tried it at a reg table...so when its checked to me there is 1.5bb in the pot. I normally play the Ante Zoom tables...so there are 2.25bb in the pot when the pot is unopened. Does that change anything for the correct bet to be shown/the formula?

5. Also can you show me what I have to do when I want a predefined raise in the bet box for a possible 3bet. Like for example there is 2.25bb in the pot and CO bets 3bb...so there is 5.25bb in the pot. If I want a predefined 3bet of lets say 9.5bb there...what would the formula have to be?

predefined 3bet+ sizes are prohibited by stars so i dont think starscaption will offer these (otherwise they will become prohibited software)
