I hate when I can't write any note to an opponent on my tournament table who just busted, because he is gone. Is there some smart way to use Party Caption to solve this? Either for the Party notes or the Party Caption notes?

I just got Starscaption because of the additional features over Starshelper. I am trying to recreate my Starshelper betscript but I can't seem to get my 3bet sizings working. You can do it for PartyCaption notes by this way:
add a panel to HUD / Player panels with static tag like [nick] or just with text, turn on Show panel / for player who left a table, and configure OnClick / Note editor for it.
This panel will be not removed from HUD immediately after busting, so you can click it and write a note in a Note editor.

Try to change formulas to these:
x0.89
x1.41

On 888 using 888caption, i play in chips but i also have a hotkey where when i click on it... it turns the chips to bb. So sometimes i click on it to see the bb stacks and then click it back to chips.


How do i do this on stars with starscaption? Last time i did this on stars but i could not turn the bb into chips.


Also how do i autoreg sngs? I see the sng registrator tab but it sometimes works, but other times not work. Example i want to autoreg those 33, 11 and 3.30 bounty builder turbo on demands which has multiple tables. I clicked on update tourney types and i see them listed on the boxes. But first off... how do i only make sure it reg only those that have not started? Because these start once either 27 or 90 players are regged... then it goes to late reg for 45 minutes. How do i only reg the ones that are preregistering? And how do i i reg when its in late reg?


I see max sngs on this type and max of simulaeous reg sngs of this type. Let say you want to reg 3 of each max... so 9 total at the most. What do i put in max sng of gthis type and max of simulatenous registered sng of this type for each?


Do i need to put anything for register if already enrolled from 0 to 90 or 0 to 27. I figure this has to do with the only register if it started or not.


Then there is option of a number for sngs to keep playing and check box for both max sng to play and max time to play. I also for the first one... just put like 999 if i want to stop the autoreg myself? And don't check those 2 boxes below?


For me, I want it to autoreg those on demands until i want to stop manually... thus by clicking on stop myself. Thus i want to untick the active to turn the auto reg sng off. So how do i do this? I had issues with autoregging these on demand tournaments earlier as they didn't reg.

for WSOP nevada do i use 888caption2 or 888caption2alt ? I set up alt and its working but i just want to make sure lol

You can use 888Caption2 with any supported poker client if you play only in this single client.
Alt version is designed to play with two 888-based poker clients at the same time (in jurisdictions where it possible). I don't know if you can use any other 888 client in Nevada, and I don't know if it possible to run WSOP and that 2nd poker client simultaneously (know that at least a while ago it was possible in New Jersey).

If it possible, then you can configure 888Caption2 to play in WSOP (select only this client in License / Configure the poker clients), and configure 888Caption2Alt for the 2nd client by the same way. After this you can run two poker clients and two Captions at the same time and all they will work as configured.

There is no any other reason to use 888Caption2Alt. It is no different from 888Caption2, but it is updated much less frequently, so you will have just an old version of 888Caption2 in this case.

It works in StarsCapiton by exactly same way. Probably you have enabled a table bb mode in Stars settings - StarsCapion can't disable it by this way. So turn it off there and use only StarsCaption options.


There is no options in SnG registrator now to auto register to SnGs with 'Late Reg.' state, it processes SnGs with 'Registering' state only. So it will not register you to late registration tournaments. Also you can use Stars filters to remove them from the list.


There is a description of SnG registrator:
You can set Max SNGs of this type to 3 and Max simultaneous registered SNGs of this type to any number from 1 to 3 - you will have max 3 tables of this type in any case. The second parameter affects only the number of simultaneous registrations, it does not affect the total number of tables of this type (1st parameter is registered + opened).


Turn off both checkbox, it's enough.

Hey bud, I have 888caption valid for 59 more days cause I stopped playing there since their latest software update. I was wondering you could void that membership and give me those days back in Partycaption instead?

When autoregging sngs on partycaption, it does fine. But why is it when i unclick active to stop the autoreg and try to change the filters such as look at different stakes or say add 6-max... the software just does not change? I need to control alt delete it each time to click a check mark on 6 max or go back to 9 max. Then control alt delete it again to go back to my previous sng setting that i have until i click back active?


Is this a party software thing or related to partycaption? I find party really annoying to play on because the software is really bad. But shouldn't the moment you check 6 max and say check another stake level, it immediately update the sng lobby? Only way is to control alt delete for every single check mark i want to click on. And vice versa if i want to go back.

Okay well when not playing sng and looking at the lobby say i just have it at the 10 buyin stake. The moment i click on 6 seats when 9 max is already checked... it adds more sng options. And when i click on hyper... it adds on more options.


But when i use partycaption to auto reg sngs and say its just 9 max sng and standard/turbo speed... why is it even when i uncheck active for auto reg sng... then i can't even click on 6 max or hyper? I need to control alt delete each time so doing it twice to add the 6 max and hyper? Is this something with the party caption settings? I know this isn't the party software since when i look at lobby when not playing/regging sngs... well clicking 6 max and hyper will automatically have more sng options showing.

Whenever i want to see other stakes/format the lobby in the sng... as in put in different sng format...example let say i only have 10s and 8/9 max checked and it reg all sngs in those stakes using sngregistrator... then say i want to add 6 max as well and hypers. I first would just uncheck the active on the sng registrator. But when i try to check 6 max and hyper... it doesn't work. I need to control alt delete each time for checking 6 max and hyper. The same as if i want to uncheck something.


The lobby... it's not really freezing. Its like you can't click on it most of the time. Example if i put 6 max in... then i try to reg manually while im playing my other tables.. many times that sng table that i try to manually register doesn't even work.


v1.99a. This has been happening for a very long time already. I mean right now say im not playing but have partycaption program on. And do not reg anything. Well i can click on any of those checkboxes like 8 max/9max/6 max and different stake with no issue.


The partypoker lobby freezes a lot when playing. Also when i play, many times if i click on a wrong spot on the partytable... my cursor can't click on any table at all. The only way to fix this is control alt delete.


Someone else mention they have this same issue. Like your mouse would turn into that thing where you can't click on anything... only hotkeys work.

For some reason, when i click active... it does not reg any of the bounty builder on demands... 3s, 11s and 33s. However if say i put in a 90 man progressive at 11s or 5s... those register? Why does it not reg any of the bounty builder on demands?

This is in starscaption, I am having this problem for ages but I haven´t find a proper solution. I wanna make a note on a player, right? So when I am typing the action in that table changes to other table and then when I look I am making a note on other player in other table, makes me lose lots of time with this situation. What is the best way to make notes on starscaption? You know, to me is easier to make notes in 888caption by the system that the software has, starscaption should have a system like that too. Maybe I have this problem cause I play in multystack mode in starscaption, I don´t know but if there´s a better way...

Sorry, but it seems there is no way to prevent loss of focus now when using multi-stack activation mode. But I'll try to think what I can do for this in the future.

Hi, trying starscaption and dunno what I changed that now everytime I open a spin table I get a grey cover on the table with it saying "Spin" and it turns off til the 1st hand is dealt, how can I get rid of that?
