UTILITY 888/Party/StarsCaption - Page 145 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

HI,
Using party caption and since name change the Tags that are not working are.
1) Timings - it says timings instead of showing the time to act in secounds.
2} BluffEquity - it shows no % when move bet slider.

Apart from that other Tags seem to be working.

3) also in stars caption there a preflop action Tag for summery of action. Is there Tag like this in partycaption?

I meant text notes, Partypoker is always closed yes, but I guess PCaption stays open often.

If you mean a Dialogs / Autorebuy (cash table) option - yes, it will be fixed in the future.
For now in most of cases you can use an Auto rebuy to max option, because min buy-in is 100bb at all tables now. Although this option can be useful at 6+ tables, because Auto rebuy to max rebuys to 300bb there.

For now you can use a semi-automatic rebuy - configure a Dialogs / Autorebuy (cash table) option and use Hotkeys / Rebuy to activate an automatic rebuy process.

Perhaps this can happen with some configuration options, so I need your settings to verify this.

If it really works by this way - please send me your main settings (you can export them via Options / Save settings backup) and TM2 config you use (you can find it in c:\StarsCaption\TableManagerConfigs2 folder).
There are many different sets of settings possible in StarsCaption and I can't check them all, so I need help to detect malfunctioning configurations.

And also let me know what way you use to turn on sit out next bb on all tables (hotkey in StarsCaption or option in menu on a table).

Hi, I've found this in my log, doesnt say much but:

EXCEPTION: Cannot create file "C:\Programs\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\PCaptionNotes. txt". The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

Also, I cant close PCaption really, clicking exit in the tray does nothing, I have to force close through task manager usually. I guess I can try reinstalling and see if that helps.

Dabledore, it seems PartyCaption can't write a notes file for a some reason. It hasn't access rights for this (try to check if PartyCaption has admin rights) or some another process blocks it (try to add it to antivirus exclusions / trusted process list).

hello,

StarsCaption issue with auto time bank doesnt work with "black" and "slick" table themes on zoom tables. On some themes works ok but on those and some others (probably with themes with players unfolded cards visible on the table) doesnt work and table goes to "sitout" after 15 sec with no auto activation timebank.

Please fix this becouse "slick" themes is the best.

trickycookie, you should use the same theme for all table types, try to check #8 here.

let's say 5 are itm: tableframe should be red, between 6-9 yellow etc

It depends on a way you want to use it and on a Caption there you need it.

If you need just a 4 big blinds formula, then it will be 4bb
If you want to use the same formula for 3bb openraise, then it can be (3+nc)*bb, for example. But this formula will work in 888Caption and PartyCaption only, because nc variable (number or callers) is prohibited on Stars. In StarsCaption you can only use formulas that calculate the size of the bet indirectly from the size of the pot, for example it can be 1.5bb+pot-antes or 3bb+pot-bb-sb-antes
