Hi my laptop is a quad core laptop though. There really isn't that many laptops that are faster though. So that means you just have to limit 12 tables or less than right? So basically it won't be possible to play say up to 20 tables without lag or say even 16 tables?


How do i send you my partycaption config so you could look at my layout issue? I still cannot move the tables to any quadrant i want because for example when there is 5 tables showing say 2 in one quadrant and 1 on the others... if i move bottom left to top right, it just switches the tables in different quadrants. Its suppose to just go to the top right. On 888poker, it doesn't have this issue though. So you want me to send you both config for 888caption and partycaption?


Also i noticed theres another issue. I put those things on the hud where it would show what is my current chip position...then how many places get paid and how many players are left in tournament etc. I tried this with sng. Some reason the current chip position does show it correct most of the time. The other ones does work but many times it would show 0 in both? So that doesn't work in sngs?

Also why in the sng tab lobby, when you look at category, buyin, seats and speed, its like glitching every few seconds? Is this another partypoker issue? It basically keeps moving and glitches every few seconds.


Do you know why i have these issues? It basically keeps glitching the sng lobby. Example if i were to try to register for an sng manually, when i click on a sng, it would register for the first one at the top because it keeps glitching.

It does not matter how many cores there are. Party can work at one core only.

Seems SnG/MTT / Refresh SnG lobby every X seconds enabled in your settings - try to read on the site how it works.

Okay so it seems that in sng/mtt tab, it shows refresh sng lobby every 5 seconds. Was this the default or did i make this change? Because i don't think i ever made this change to the setting? So if you play sngs but do use the partycaption to reg sngs, should that be even checked or not? And if so, how many seconds? I played sngs on 888 before and used 888caption to autoreg and there was never that annoying glitching. I just took a look at my 888caption tabs and there doesn't seem to be any option that shows refresh sng lobby.


Also noticed i have checked auto close sng tables after finishing 7 seconds and V3. Is this what i want? I think i made this change a while back because you said v3? But for auto close sng tables, i guess you should probably put like shorter like 3 seconds etc? Curious what most mass sng tablers do with this.

You can use any way, and email will be ok.
And yes, you can send 888Caption config too.
You can set 60 there or turn it off - as you want. This option can be changed, so you can change it as you want. I don't play SNGs, so I don't know what value is optimal (users asked me to do this option and I made it - that's all).
I don't know what they do. I think 7 seconds is ok.

Sorry, no - they work on old-style tables only now (on bwin, for example).

You can use HUD / Player panels / OnClick (for Search the Web or Copy to clipboard) and Hotkeys / Set note (for notes) instead.

You can simulate the Opp buttons quite accurately with Player panels / OnClick if you want - make a panel of a such size from spaces and place it in the right place. After this you can turn on 'Background / Invisible' and the panel will be hided (by you will be able click it, so it works as an original Opp button).

Regarding StarsCaption, Options>Set pos for the new tables.
It doesn't seem to correspond to my left/top values.
All my new tables position at 1. table slot values i ve set on the table manager tab and not the ones i ve set for new tables.
Same thing happens with 888Caption too.
Is there a way to choose where new tables are auto positioned?

You can use this option with Table manager, but this makes sense in the following situation only:
1. Process tables with hero only option is enabled in Table manager
2. You play cash tables

In this case it will work by this way:
When new cash table opened, it will be places to Set pos for the new tables slot and it will be there until you sit at the table.

Basically i ve created 8 table slots and i have the option to auto sort them.
But i want the new opening tables position to be at a specific slot, lets say table slot nr. 8.
Now they are always positioned at table slot nr 1.
Is there a way to achieve that for sngs?
I saw an option of "move new tables to active slot" but i am not sure how this works.

Also, are you planning to add a sng registrator feature for pokerstars?

Anarchy_, ok, I'll try to think how to do it.
Now you can only try to move slot nr 8 to the up of the 'Table slots' list (so it will be #1) and all new tables will be moved to this slot. Also you can turn on 'Stack' option for it.
Although of course it will not work very well if you use sorting (without sorting it should work fine).

My bet scripts have suddenly stopped working, it was fine yesterday and i haven't changed anything since. (convert chips to bb's is still working fine)

When i click 'update' starshelper just closes and nothing happens. That might be cause my laptop is old?

Try to download the latest version of installer from the site and run it manually.

Pokerstars just did some maintenance to their zoom pools and everything is working fine again, but i'll try updating caption anyway. Thanks for the help

My Partycaption sometimes automatically bets on its own. Just completely randomly with random sizes, sometimes allin. Do you have any idea/suggestions?
