i cannot see country hud on colornoted players after update

Yes - unfortunately PartyCapiton can't read a country for players with a note after the latest party update, and I'm not sure if I can do something about this in the future

Hi there. I opened 4 tables. My first issue is when i do this, why does all the tables tile to my laptop screen? I have to manually move all these tables to my external monitor which is my main monitor. Then tile again and then it tiles on my main monitor.


On table manager tab, when you say off... im confused what you mean by that. Do you mean uncheck the active button? Because it already is not checked and i never made any changes to this page.

When you say click on table slots and add new, it adds

There is the X, y, size etc. How am i suppose to know what im suppose to change that to?

In the list you can see coordinates (x, y) and Size% of slots. So you can select any slot in the list and edit any of parameters (x, y or size) for the slot.
Your screen is 1920x1200, so (0, 0) is a left-top corner of your srceen and (1919, 1199) is a right-bottom corner.

You can create slots as I described in my previous answer - put tables manually as you want on the screen and click Add opened. After this you can adjust coordinates manually. In your example you can change slots coordinates by this way, for example:

14. (911, 580) 100%
15. (911, 0) 100%
16. (113, 0) 100%
That is, you can align the coordinates of the slots.

On the left there are some default example configs - you can try them, see how they are arranged and use as examples.
Grid 4x3 is a simple 12-tile configuration for 1920x1080 resolution.

Im using 888Caption2 and im having trouble with position Tags.
It seems to be sending correct data to Hand2Note for example but its displaying wrong position Tags in Player HUD. On 6max Table it shows EP in BB and moves up from there, conseuqntly Button is displayed as SB etc pp

It was working correctly before im not sure where i ****ed up but i had to upgrade 888 Client and 888Caption since i didnt use it for a while.

I would like to lower my 3bet size when effective stack is shallow.

With 100bb effective stack, i want to raise the pot (x1).
With 50bb effecttive stack, i want to raise an half pot bet. (like if I click on the 50% percent button in my poker client.)

It tried this below. I receive bad output. Any ideas?

Note : effStack/100 is to obtain a ratio in percentage compared to a 100bb effective stack.

It is possible to do it in Advanced betscript, you can just add two bets there and use an Effective stack size filter to separate them. Or you want to use a different sizes for every intermediate stack size? (x0.75 for 75bb, for example)

if x1 is pot bet formula....
If effStack is 100bb, I want a formula like 100%*x1
If effStack is 88bb, I want a formula like 88%*x1
If effStack is 63bb, I want a formula like 63%*x1

Yes x1 is a pot bet formula, but x1*2 is not a "two pots" formula, in fact it should be x2 - "x" works like a function with a parameter after it.
x1*2 will be equal x2 only for bet, not for raise (and it also will be equal pot*2 formula in this case).
So in your case it will be a percentage of a pot bet, and it's a little different.

Also there is an error in your formula - effStack is a value in dollars/chips, not in big blinds.
To get what you want, use this formula:
x1*(effStack/100bb)

There is no way to use "x" function with variable parameters, i.e you can't use a such formula: x(effStack/100bb)
It can be used only as x1, x1.5 x0.75, etc. So if you want exactly bet pot formula for every effStack/100bb value, then it can be done only with set of stack size filters like this:
stack<40bb x0.4
stack<50bb x0.5
...
stack<100bb x1
etc

Been reading this thread since posts of november but couldn't find anyone having this problem:

In Starscaption I have the problem of my tables not tiling correctly. Here are some issues.

Using a Laptop (Full HD) with a external monitor (1680x1050)

1.) without starscaption: For example I have 4 tables open, 2 on each monitor. I use tile (apply to active monitor only) and it works fine.

When starscaption runs
2.) and I tile one screen, the tables on the other screen start moving too, it sometimes not even gets tiled, more like 3/4 tables are tiled and one is placed right in front of them in the middle of the screen
3.) When I tile on one screen, it takes several seconds to tile it properly. In the first seconds the table might be something like 600x500 big and then moves to 620x515 gradually
4.) when i use table manager I have issues where everything kind of crashes. So I got like 8 tables open, 4 on each screen and I use tile (apply to active monitor only): both screens kind of get tiled, eventually I maybe can get them in order - maybe manually. I add them to the table manager by "add opened" , click on save and then on active. now all of a sudden some of my tables are shifting between 500 and 501 pixels, I can't de-click "activate" on starscaption anymore, and have to close starscaption by the taskmanager, then close stars, then open caption again, turn off "activate", then start stars again or else I can't play any hand on stars in that timeframe.

Are both of your monitors have the same scale settings? StarsCaption can work properly in a two monitors configuraition if there are the same settings (both 100% scale, for example), or if you have configured an Override high DPI scaling behavior option in Properties / Compatibility

Is there a way to use HUD deck from Layout settings after last update? I can only use those party basic decks and this new HUD deck looks awful.

Yes - try to choose a 1st deck in a party theme settings (any decks replaces it after install)

Thanks, I now used the option to override the DPI settings in both stars and caption (had it turned on in stars before) also there is an option whether the program or the system shall define the DPI settings, is ticking "program" the right one?

Is there an option to automatically switch between settings in the table manager based on how much tables you got open?
For example If I have 4 tables open it automatically switches to a 4 setting and as soon as a 5th table opens it turns on a 6 table tiling, preferrably by pre defining those tables?

1. In fact I don't know what option is the right (I haven't a 2nd monitor to check it out). You can try to use all the settings and find where all work fine for you.

2. Sorry, no - you can switch whem only by hotkeys or manually.

3. I hope it will be implemented in the future. I can't implement it in a way as it done in 888Caption or PartyCaption now (I do not have the same advanced mechanisms for reading lists in the lobby as in 888/Party), but probably I will make some simplified version in the future.

I’m using the Zoom auto close / open feature in Starscaption.

When using 4 tables, when one closes it can’t open another straight away and a table limit box opens up over the other tables which is annoying. I guess it takes Stars a few seconds to recognise the table was closed before it allows another.

Can anything be done about this to stop getting the error box opening?
