UTILITY 888/Party/StarsCaption - Page 86 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Hey,

I got huge performance problems lately...even with just 2 Fast Forward tables up.
Also very often - like 2-3 times per hour minimum - Partycaption is crashing and needs to be restarted.

Any ideas?

Partycaption version 1.71b, Win 10.

I do not know what could be the reason, but try to add the program to the exclusions / trusted programs of the antivirus

Thanks, but I disabled Antivirus already. Windows Defender was just runnning.

Even building up the standard betting Button on the tables is hard delayed. And the problem with the Partycaption crashs I have since the last 2 updates.

I had an issue yesterday where my note take hotkey stopped working, double click wouldn't bring up the box with note tags but it would make the chat visible. The rest of caption worked fine. When i opened and restarted it was fine for a while then same issue.

I was going to print screen the above issue when something weird is happening

I try to log into party client with caption running, click the username box, but it moves my cursor to the password box, even as i type now, caption is moving the cursor to party client. When i close caption its fine.

Must of versions firstly posted on a Russian Gipsyteam forum only (for initial testing).

Hey guys does anyone have any idea of why at sometimes the mouse hotkeys simply stop working or buggy and I can't even bind any hotkey with my mouse when it happens, it never happens with the keyboard hotkeys tho. It happens in all captions also starshelper and wpn tools and it's from nothing and gets back from nothing, I have no idea why. Fwiw my mouse is logitech g903 wireless.

Will do, when I´ve got time.

I found another tipp from you in the thread regarding the DPI scaling on high resolutions. I followed it and the performance issues seem to be gone.

But I still get constant crashs of Partycaption x times / hour.

When backup the settings in Options> "Save settings backup", the settings in "Table manager" are not being saved.

I just installed version 0.34 and nothing is working.

I uninstalled, deleted all leftovers and installed again.

I opened PokerStars and StarsCaption as an administrator, and even then StarsCaption is not working.

I'll uninstall and go back to 0.33

P.S. After returning to version 0.33 it returned to work.

Please do not forget the suggestion I made, to do Inc / Dec in% pot in postflop using the same preflop shortcut, just like the mouse wheel.

Yes, only main settings are saved there. In fact this is just a copy of a main ini file.
You can find table manager configs in separate files in TableManagerConfigs folder and copy them manually.

BetRo, I don't know what is an issue with 0.34 in your case.
You can try to add StarsCaption to trusted processes list in your antivirus settings - some antiviruses may be suspicious of new versions and block their activity

And yes, I remember your request. I will try to do this in one of the following versions.

Can you do betscript similar for starscaption as partycaption? I feel that starscaption betscript is very basic and i would like to have some more options like partycaption, especially when you can decide if hero is oop or ip
