Which tab is the preflop betting size? Thus say i want the letter R to be raise to 2.5x and T to be raise to 3x. Is it the betting hotkeys tab?


If so, the betting hotkeys i have look something like this


0.40 + 0 Hotkey is A
0.50 + 0 Hotkey is S


I have

2.25bb +0 Hotkey is W
2.5bb +0 Hotkey is E


Thus when action is on me, if i press the letter W, it show raise to 2.25x. Instead it raises to 2x. Same thing with the letter E. it should raise to 2.5x. It just min raises.


The postflop bet sizing with my hotkeys however works fine. Thus when i type A, it bets 40 percent of the pot.

0. There is no any auto table activation options in PartyCaption.
You can use such options in partypoker client settings. In fact I don't know how these options work, I never used them.

1. I do not know why this window appears. Please report about partypoker client bugs to partypoker support, not to me. PartyCaption tries to close the table after the end of the tournament, and I do not know why the client displays this message.
You can try to increase 'Close time' in 'SnG/MTT / Auto close SnG tables after finishing', maybe it helps.

2. I don't know. I'm not the author of partypoker client. You can ask this question to party support.

3. Check 'run as admin' setting in a partypoker client shortcut (Properties / Compability / Run this program as administrator)
If this is already done, show me your hotkey settings.

4. Try to check 'Options / Advanced / Remember table arrangement' option in partypoker client settings.

5. Again - this is the support thread of PartyCaption, not partypoker client. And I am not partypoker client developer.
Try to check 'Options / Advanced / Lobby always on top' option.

6. I'm not sure, but most likely it's partypoker.

7. I don't know.

8. There is no such option in PartyCaption

9. You can use 'Betscript / Advanced' instead of Basic. You can configure openraises depends on stack size or any other parameter. And 3bets / 4bets / cbets / etc too. There are many more settings (although this is more difficult to configure).

10. I've never played SnGs professionally and I do not know any standards, sorry.

I had the same situation untill i checked the 'close all one click btns' or something like that. And autoclose sng is 1 and 3.

WSOPNJ updated their client. Do we use the other version of 888caption now? My current v.54 one now says it is unregistered.

Ok. I'll try to check. You can try 888Caption2, maybe it works with a new client.

This message should be displayed if you close the table but the tournament is not over. I do not know why the client can display it at closing after the tournament is already over. Probably it's some kind of bug.
Try to increase the Close time:

PartyCaption will close the tournament not immediately, but after a while after it ends (after 7 seconds delay in this case), maybe it helps. If not, it's a poker client problem - try to report to party support about it (there is not a PartyCaption issue - you can try to close the table manually).

It works fine for me after I made the changes I mentioned.

After using new version of 888Caption2 v2.34 when I login to WSOPNJ it still has the License State: Unknown (awaiting login).

It is running as admin. I dont know what else to test out in regards to this.

Seems this is some sort of a new poker client (supported by 888Caption2), but current verion is not supported in full (only part of features work for me). I'll try to do a support of both 888/WSOP NJ clients in the next version, I hope it will be today or tomorrow.

Now you can use any version from v0.18 to v0.21, I can give a link to any of these versions, if your need it.
All versions lower than v0.18 are blocked and can't be used.

888Caption v2.34c is released, please try it with new WSOP and 888 NJ clients. I can not open the realmoney tables there and do a full check.

can you help me troubleshoot why its still taking 60~ secs to load party,888 and stars caption? I have a strong gaming computer with a ssd drive, only security is basic firewall from windows 7 + eset anti virus.

It already is running as administrator.

On 888poker, i have hotkeys very similar. Except the 2.25x bb raise and the 2.5x bb raise with my hotkeys W and E works.


However, there is one strange issue on 888poker. How do you set the all in button on 888 or partypoker? I have 999 as the pot% on 888 and Tab as the hotkey but it does not work. With tableoptimizer on stars, i set tab as hotkey for all in and have no issues. I know there is no conflict at all since my hotkeys preflop and postflop bet sizing on stars and 888 and partypoker are similar.

1. There is no way to attach a picture from your computer here. You must upload it to any image hosting service at first. I use imgur.com (in fact I do it with MyImgur desktop client).

2. 888Caption and StrarsCaption are use the formulas in the Betting hotkeys, but PartyCaption still don't (although it can be changed in the future). Therefore, you should not add 'bb' to numbers, 'bb' is a part of a formula syntax. So you should use this example for 2.55bb bet hotkey in PartyCaption:


3. PartyCaption has separate 'All-in' hotkey on the Hotkeys tab.
In 888Caption try to use this formula:

I couldnt get your new WSOPNJ update to work as well. I think once they sort out the mess with the update I'll be more concerned. However now I am trying Borgata and I cant get your betscript to work. Any suggestions other than run as admin? Ive tried both the latest and the NJ specific versions you have on your site. Everything else ive tested liked mouseover works fine.

But I'll still ask: is the Borgata client runs as admin? PartyCaption ofc needs it to work, but betscript also needs to run the poker client as admin.

Also you can try to add both Borgata and PartyCaption to antivirus exclusion list.
If nothing helps, then I can try to see into it via TeamViewer, you can find my contacts on the site. Or you can write a log, I'll give instructions for this if necessary.

So on 888caption and partycaption, you are allowed to make a 3 bet size like 3x. Thus if someone raises at 50/100 to 250, say your 3bet size is 3x. Then it makes the slider go to 750. What happens if someone limps? Could you make it 3x + each limper each? If so, how do you do this? On the settings, it seems the default is it only adds a limper only if there are 2 or more limpers? What if there is a limper and then someone 3bets to say 3.5x. Would the reraise be to 10.5x or would it be 11.5x?


For starscaption which i don't use since i use tableoptimizer, all these kind of bet sizes such as 3bet size as in 3x the first raise is allowed? I know when i use tableoptimizer, stars did changes to software where tableoptimizer does not allow you to configure the 3bet sizing etc. Like 3x the first raise. Thus if its 50/100, and someone raises to 250, you cant 3bet it 3x for example.
