Hi, is it possible to use the same hotkeys for Stars/888Caption/PartyCaption? I've got hotkeys sent to "table under mouse" for Stars, would duplicating these between 888/Party Captions work OK?

Also, used 888Caption to remove titlebars/borders, is there a way to close tables? Maybe a hud option?

All hotkeys in 888Caption/PartyCaption works for table under mouse only, except lobby hotkeys (they are global). So you can use 888Caption and PartyCaption with same hotkeys at the same time, and with any another program what works same too (with in-client Stars hotkeys, for example).

Are there any known issues with 888Caption? 888 is getting stuck on the "loading" screen every time today, works fine after a reinstall. Could just be 888 doing their thing.

Try to Google 'iPoker Tools'.
This is not my program, but it's the best thing you can find for now for a new iPoker client.
Unfortunately, it has a Russian site only (AFAIK), and a few threads on Russian poker forums, but you can try to read about it by Google Translate.

Maybe I'll make iPokerCaption in future, but it unlikely will be soon.

Try to decrease Fonts / Bet / Width, it helps in most of such cases.
Also you can try to disable animation in partypoker client settings.

You can hide original total pot by turninig on Total pot / Hide and use [tp$] or [tpbb] tags in the HUD instead.

888caption doesn't change font site anymore for me. Both Caption and 888 run as administrator. I have default fonts for everything does not matter what I do everything else works just fine.

For 888Caption2 try this sequence:
1. Run 888poker and login. Don't change any layout settings in 888 after that.
2. Run 888Caption2, check a license status.
3. Try to edit fonts, don't forget to click 'Apply'.
4. Open table to check results.

I downloaded free trial a while back and only used it for a bit. I then tried it in a 3 dollar sng table to test it out again.


1. How do you make a hotkey for going all in?


2. I usually have pot odds to call such as it showing 2.3:1 and it converted into percentage such as you need 42.5 percent equity to call etc. Last time i think i had this shown but now... all i see is [:] and [%]. What is suppose to be put int het able panel for that?

3. How to autoregister sng? For example i only want to autoreg 6 max super turbos and say 10 tables? What about 5 tables of 6 max supertables and say double or nothings at a certain stake?

1. You can use any of the Betting hotkeys by configuring it for 999bb (or any other like this) bet.

2. 888 says that odds gives you 'unfair advantage', so this tag was removed from 888Caption.

3. For your 1st example:
- open SnG lobby (or 'My favourites' tab configured for SnGs)
- click 'Update tourney types'
- click 'Add new tournament'
- select tourney type from 'Tournament type' dropdown list
- set 'Max SNGs of this type' to 10
- set 'SNGs to keep playing' to 10 or greater
If you want play 5+5, then set 'Max SNGs of this type' to 5, click 'Add new tournament' again, select type for it and set 'Max SNGs of this type' to 5 for it too.
Also you can configure 'Max SNGs to play' or/and 'Max time to play'.
After all of this turn on 'Active' checkbox and registration will be started.

Okay that makes sense for the all in since you will almost always have 999BB left to bet. But i guess you can make it 99999BB just so its 100 percent?


1. Something else. Is there a reason why i cannot use the Tab button as my hotkey all in button? I use this for stars.


2. Also... what happens if i have stars and 888 on at same time? Will there be any hotkey issue? Does the hotkeys that i have on stars have to match the same hotkey i have on 888? For example if my 2.5x preflop raise is the letter w... any issue if this is the letter t with stars? The thing is i will make sure the same hotkey will be same for stars and 888 obviously. So like if 2.5x preflop is with my hotkey w... i use it for 888. Theres no issue with this right?


3. Another thing but is there a reason why i bet 1/2 pot... it doesn't really bet 1/2 the pot but it bet bit less? Notice this with betting 1/2 pot manually or using the hotkey. This is with 888 sng.


4. I see hotkey F is set for check/fold. But could i also use the hotkey F for betting say 2/3rd the pot postflop? Im pretty sure i could do this on stars where my hotkey F is for check/fold but also i believe for betting 2/3rd the pot... i have to check. However i think it might been just me pressing the hotkey manually with mouse then pressing the hotkey G for betting though.


5. About the unfair advantage. Is 888 the only site at the moment that does this? What about partypoker? So basically no odds at all are allowed whatsoever?


6. For the autoregister sng... i like it. But just want to make sure. You have to be in the sng lobby in order for this to work right? thus whether sng lobby or my favorite sng lobby? Thus if you go to tournaments while its running... would it ever make a mistake of autoregging a tournamnet by any chance? Also i found it nice that even though i have all those sngs showing in the lobby... it only registered the certain sng that i wanted it to reg which is very nice.


7. And last thing. I will order it since i tried using it at the lower stakes just to make sure everything works. How long does it take to receive the activation code when i order it?

If you sometimes can have stack greater then 999 big blinds - ok, you can configure all-in hotkey to 9999bb or 98567bb. But don't set too big values like 99999999, because in this case can be overflow and the program will not work properly.

So if you have Stars table under mouse then using a hotkey, it will not work for 888 table (because there is no any 888 table under mouse at this time). You can configure hotkeys in Stars for table under mouse too and use same hotkeys for Stars/888 without any side effects.

3. Try to set 'Betscript / Round bet to' to 0.

4. No, you can't use same hotkey for fold and bet.

5. AFAIK 888 only. PartyCaption has odds tag and it is approved by party support, and Stars support programs also have it.

6. Yes it works then sng lobby or my favorite sng lobby active only. Also, the lobby should not be minimized.
You can go to tournaments tab and registrator will be paused without any issues.

7. From several minutes (if I'm at the computer) to several hours (if I'm asleep or busy with something else).
Also you can request for trial and use 888Caption one month for free for all stakes after trial activating.

im having some issue where sometimes my bet buttons disappear, they appear over mouse-over, and stay for a little while. Is there any known cause for this? When I try to take notes on a player, the note box flashes constantly as well.

Also, is there an 'undo' method? I have tried adjusting the location of a button a little bit, and I had to re-install the program because I could not figure out how to reset it.

Is there a way to auto-login to the corresponding poker client for 888Caption, PartyCaption, or StarsHelper?

I see the option within PartyCaption but it doesn't work for me (I have remember me enabled). I haven't seen the option anywhere in the other two programs.
