UTILITY 888/Party/StarsCaption - Page 22 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Hi LikeAA

I had an update yesterday of both 888 client and 888Caption and now the Call Odds and Bluff Equity huds aren't working properly. They still appear on the table but don't display any values - they just show [%] or [BluffEquity] after the text. Is this just for me or is it a general problem following a 888 update?

A slight bummer having to lose some of those features but they're hardly the toughest things to work out for yourself as you play.

On the plus side though, really pleased that it's looking like you'll finally be getting 888Caption officially approved. It'll be nice to use it without that nagging doubt about 888 suddenly getting upset over nothing and suspending your account out of the blue!

partycaption seems blocked at 25nl+ on bwin... tables auto close when party caption's turned on. 10NL and below working fine. Sigh

Demo version works this way. It works free at microstakes (nl10 and below). You need a license to use it at all stakes.

i have a license, i originally bought for party, worked fine there. Switched to bwin, in UI PC i see my account name switched to my bwin user account, maybe this is why?

There are two types of licenses for PartyCaption, PC code and Account code.
You can find description and features for each type of licenses on the site in "How to buy" section.

Seems you have an Account code license, and it is linked to your party account. Account code license can be used with one poker account only, and PartyCaption works in demo mode for your bwin account.
PC code license can be used with any poker account, but on one computer only.

Pretty sad to see pot odds gone. Anyone know of alternative soft for pot odds on 888?

Or maybe Caption developer would consider creating a separate piece of small soft for this function?

First we need to wait for the official approving of 888Caption from 888Rep. After that, we will ask questions about what is allowed and what is not. Perhaps we will be able to negotiate or find a compromise on the odds and other banned features.

Hello,
I'm using PartyCaption and this is a great piece of software, but one important feature would be awesome.
How about adding autoactivation in table manager?
For now I'm using one active window where my tables are in stack and lot's of miniatures around.
But I'm only able to activate the table by clicking on the miniature. I'd like to auto activate the table with action for me.
Can this be done?

Here

Pot odds, bluff equity and timings was removed from HUD.
All other features are approved.

How it does not work?
- there is no button 'Request for Trial',
- you clicked on the button, but nothing happened,
- you clicked, message appeared, but there is no trial.

Try to check all from Troubleshooting section on the site (version of 888 / 888Caption, language in the poker client, etc).
If it doesn't help, reboot your PC and try again.
If it doesn't help, contact to me by skype, I'll try to see into it.

On party i use partycaption to move my HM2 popups to a certain location. Works well however often recently my popups are only staying open for a second or two then closing before i have finished using them. Is there anyway to force the popups to stay open?

hi,

is there an option to bring to front a table who need a action?

I setup a 2x2 table layout, but I would like to have 8 tables running. (2x2 under 2x2 table ... am I clear?)
