Hi

Just started using the free microstakes version of 888Caption to try it out and am really impressed so far.

Everything is working well but there is one little thing that I'm finding rather annoying. When the 888 client is open and I'm logged in, clicking minimize on 888Caption makes 888Caption disappear. It remains running but moves from apps to background processes in task manager and the only way I can get back to the 888Caption window is to close it and reopen (using task manager). If the 888 client is not running, 888Caption minimizes to the task bar like any other normal program.

Is this because I don't yet have a license or is it some kind or bug? I am running both 888 (latest version) and 888Caption (v2) as administrator and am using Windows 10.

You can find 888Caption icon in system tray in this case. Without license it works as 'Options / Minimize to tray' option is activated (its needed to display the pop up with out-of-license info).

'Options / Minimize to tray' option will work correctly if you have a license (or trial activated).

Didn't realise it had a proper trial option so have just requested that but it looks like I'll be sending you some money in the not too distant future.

Hi, I'm having a problem with not showing the cards side by side when I'm still in a hand, how would I go about to fix this? I want the cards to appear as the second picture at all times, but it's currently only appearing like that when I've folded and mouse over my player pod. Is it possible to rearrange the card positions for myself, or even better for all players? Thanks!

It not possible to do it with original cards, but it can be done via HUD, so it will look like you want:

To do it, add a panel with [grHand] tag to HUD / Player panels (you can use Table panels, but Player panels is better if you are mixing FR/SH tables). Size of cards can be adjusted by adding a number (in %) after tag. For example, this format string:
[grHand]80
will display cards with 80% of original size. You can move HUD cards to any place by right mouse button, as any HUD panel.

If you want to set your own deck as HUD deck, just copy the deck image file cards.png (you can find in \PartyGaming\PartyPoker\Images\NewGameTable\ folder) to PartyCaption\Layouts\HUD Deck\NewGameTable\ folder (or PartyCaption\Layouts\[Deck] HUD\NewGameTable, if you are using the old version of PartyCaption).

Is there a way to cycle tiled tables at 888 with hotkeys? I am only able to cycle stacked tables. (I play with gamepad instead of mouse).

Alternatively is there a way to automatically activate most urgent table and then activate next table after decision?

Can you assign your own hotkeys in 888 or do you have to use the preset F5, F6, F7?

Can't believe I played fror 2 months on Party before I bought this. It's a great little product.

could you please add function/HUD for view, how much pot odds I give to villian, with my sizing?

next: I still dont know how to set/bet exactly sizing what I want, I have set in tab betscript>round to bet>postflop to 0% and in HUD>table panels>on click>bet in pot%>for example 0.66% but very often when I click and bet I bet about 70%??

Sorry, threre is no cycling hotkeys for tiled tables.
But there is Table magager with auto activating featue. You can watch video examples here.
You can try to use "mini tile with activation" config. To play without a mouse, delete second Active slot, so all tables during activation will be moved to the single slot. You can move a mouse cursor to this slot at start, so all hotkey will always work for the active table.

Yes, you can use any hotkeys (mouse or keyboard). 888Caption doesn't use F5-F7, implemented in 888.

2. Try to check the pot size in chips or cents in this case. For example on nl2 if you have 10 cents pot, you can bet 6 or 7 cents only (60 or 70%).
If the reason in other, I can ask you to write the log to determine the cause.

Is 888caption working with Windows 10 as well...got a new laptop and tried to set up everything and I assigned hotkeys...for example fold/check with right mouse click and its not really working...sometimes I have to click the mouse like 5 times before I can fold. I run both 888 and caption as admin. Same for PartyCaption by the way...just checked.

Yes is works on Windows 10.
I don't know a reason of problems in your case. Maybe there is a conflict with some another software.
Try to run all other programs with global hotkeys as admin (HM2, etc).
Try to add 888Caption and 888poker to antivirus exceptions (sometimes they can block it activity).

I just tried that...when I play snap I can fold the hand with right mouse click when its not my turn but once its my turn it does not work. I run all programs as admin...I use a table mod and also some red coloured bet buttons but its the same layout I used on my old laptop and it worked flawless there.

Edit: Just used the orginal mod from 888 and its the same problem..so its not the table mod and the red bet buttons

Can you tell me your current version of 888Caption and version of 888poker (you can find it in Help / About)?
Also can I see a screenshot of your table with Fold button? Maybe it helps.

Are you planning to do iPokerCaption? You will make tons of dollar with it
