Be lucky you ain't winning my '98 accent. God your ungrateful and paranoid.
This is free and not that your going to win but would def. be the best month of "your life".... although that in itself shouldn't be enough to impress normal people.
But this is a cool and original promo and Victory should take some credit for their attempt at pushing the bar.

Re: Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

So I just signed up at Victory Poker on saturday and shipped the $5 rebuy Bubbled another after getting sucked out on by a 3 outer. I like the tourneys they are soft, althought I wish more people played.

Anyway, I will be submitting a vidoe for the contest sometime soon, and just wanted to clarify. The video with the most votes gets in, then the other 24 spots are chosen by pro's, etc. Are they chosen from the other submitted videos? or are they just gonna pick other random pro's who don't even submit a video?

Re: Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

The video with the most votes is guaranteed a spot of the 25 chosen. A couple spots will be given to various magazines and 1 spot will be given to the winner of an online freeroll tournament that we will announce soon. The rest of the spots will be chosen by the Victory Poker Pros and Executive Team.

We are looking for creativity, personality, and poker skills.

Good luck to you.

Re: Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

I understand that. Perhaps I never asked my question clearly.

As for the participants that the pro's and exec team choose, do they only choose from those who post a video?

So you have...

1 spot most votes
1 spot freeroll winner
lets say 3-5 spots for mags/other promotions
with the last 15+ all be chosen from the submitted videos?

Basalt13,

The freeroll winner will not have to submit a video and it depends on what promotion we run with the magazines, but I would say about 20 of the choices will come from submitted videos.

Got my video in. If I don't win this contest, I fully expect a job editing film for a major studio, so no biggie.

Re: Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

when are the freerolls? Also what main criteria are you looking for when choosing the entry videos? (the ones chosen by the pros. Obviously not including the one with the most votes)

If in fact one does get chosen to go to Vegas to compete, when would it take place and approximately how long? (assuming you are the winner)

The freerolls are every Sunday at 11am PST.

All the pros and team have been actively watching all the videos. There is no set criteria for what we're looking for. I always get calls or texts from them about certain ones that stand out. I can say that the more creative or funny ones have gotten the greatest response from them.

Not sure the exact dates on when we will be flying everyone out yet, but it will be for about a week.

The only thing that can be guaranteed is that nima will have sex with her and then she will get syphilis and probably die a slow death.

Re: Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

Quick Question... can I peddle my video on the forums? I have some ideas about getting votes, but what's legal? Can I hire a team of teenage asian ninja hackers to get me more votes?

... so, in otherwords, this contest has little to nothing whatsoever to do with the actual product of Victory Poker .. Poker.

@ekdikeo: I understand that it gives you pleasure to go to every forum regarding my company and try to bash it but we will only work off of and respond to facts.
Everybody is welcome to have an opinion and we are willing to discuss criticism but to just sit & think about how to insult my company all day should get old to you at some point.

There is ONLY 1 spot of the 25 that will be won from having the most votes.
The other 24 spots are being chosen by pro's, magazine, sponsor exemptions and a group discussion. People will be chosen and flown in from all over the world to compete for this sponsorship package.

I'm just trying to build a brand and do fun things like this contest to add more dynamics and excitement to the overall industry of poker.

Some really good videos... but guys... if you're gonna show yourself playing online poker in your video at least have the VP open and make it look like your playing there.

I agree, by being a pro you are to promote their brand not other sites. Common sense! People really need to get a life. This CEO is out here answering questions to a contest that my wife and others are taking seriously. What does Fulltilt have on that. You may get answers through an email that may take 3 days. Thanks for coming out and answering question, we actually think you are genius.
