Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

The time has come where we have launched our online contest where you have an opportunity to become the next Victory Poker Pro.

We're giving away $100,000 in tournament buy-ins, a one year lease on a fully furnished condo on the strip in Las Vegas, a new car, a watch, and more. On top of these prizes, the person chosen will also become a pro on a team of some of the best poker players in the world.

To enter the contest, visit http://contest.victorypoker.net and create a one minute video convincing us why YOU should be the next pro.

Create a profile on the page and get your friends to vote for your video (they can vote once a day). 25 people will be chosen and flown out to Vegas to meet the team. After testing your abilities and going through some fun challenges (taking a playmate out on a date, getting hunted by Blitz in paintball, going heads up against Paul Wasicka in poker, or being able to hang with Antonio at the club), it finalizes down to one person who's life will be changed.

Will it be you?

To get an idea of what I'm talking about WATCH THIS VIDEO

The contest is now LIVE so start submitting your videos!

Have fun with it and get as creative as possible.

Cheers,

Executive Producer

The deadline to register is July 31st 2010. Keep in mind the sooner you submit a video the less competition you have so you'll get more votes.

Does this mean you're looking primarily for male candidates?

We are open to both male and female candidates over the age of 21. We've already planned it all out and are excited to have female applicants.

Does a woman need a certain cup size to apply or is that something that she could work on improving during the competition?

We're looking for a good poker player who gels with us. You're gonna have to be smart and cool. Cup size is not gonna play a role as far as I'm concerned. But, Executive Producer is, in fact, the executive producer. So, a lot of what goes down will rest with him.

Re: Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

@ Dr. Livingstone: More information is at www.victorypoker.net/contest
25 get flown to Vegas, we pay for flights and hotel.
Then in Vegas it will be similiar to the show "The APPRENTICE" but for poker.

We haven't started advertising the contest yet, but there will be 100's of videos when we do,,, if not more. We're accepting videos until July 31st in order to get as many international applications and as many in person video submissions at the WSOP in Vegas from people travelling.

Everything will be filmed for a t.v. show. The goal is for a network to carry it, but either way, I've hired a full time production crew that creates high quality shows, so it will look great regardless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3B7vcg6Dpg

The applicant with the most votes will automatically win a spot on the 25 and the rest will be chosen by pro players, magazines, industry execs, etc. There will also be 2 freeroll spots. Contestants will be chosen from many different countries.

Thank you for your interest and good luck!

Re: Victory Poker $100,000 Contest

is it a plus to be from an exotic country - like Luxembourg probably is for people in the US? is it a plus to be persian (just like Amir Antonio Esfanidiari)?
Does it mean that the one with the most votes is in directly and the rest of the videos "lost"?

Out of all the videos submitted, 25 people will be chosen and flown in to Las Vegas from around the world. The video with the most votes is guaranteed a spot and the rest are chosen by the Victory Poker Pros, Executives, and different magazines.

Clearly you're not gonna win.
