Hello and welcome to my coaching thread!

My name is Sergey, also known as Jayser1337 on PokerStars. I have successfully played high stakes 6max cash games since 2014, with the last 2 years concentrating on nl2k-40k games, including consistent regwars on Pokerstars.
I’ve been coaching since 2015 with 95% of my students being Russian speaking players, and now I would like to offer my services to the English speaking audience as well. Since mid 2019 I’ve been obsessed with finding the perfect algorithm to study the game dedicating a huge amount of time to the poker theory. For better or worse, by the end of 2020 due to some health related issues I’ve decided to retire from being an active high stakes player and to concentrate on coaching instead.

My method: I can guarantee the high quality coaching materials that I have developed, tested and actively used during my high stakes journey. My approach is all about searching and understanding patterns and conceptions, that are fundamental to solver’s GTO logic with an attempt to transform them into a set of rules that can be easily explained and applied to a vast majority of situations. The goal of my work is to understand the underlying basis of the solver's strategy and not just blindly memorize and copycat provided solutions.

90% of the information I provide is about fundamental principles, concepts and patterns, that will always remain actual, with only 10% of info being dedicated to current field’s particular qualities, which tend to change pretty quickly while the core concepts remain with you forever once being deeply understood. I like to make an analogy with building a house: my role as a coach is to provide the best tools and the best construction plan, but it is the student who has to build the house. Please note, if you are not ready to dive deeply and dedicate enough time to studying this game – I’d rather not suggest my services.

• The development of a solid pre and postflop game (I have calculated on the server and created different exploitative strategies for the most important 6max spots)
• The analysis of opponents\top regulars and the methods of doing it in the most effective ways
• In-depth fish play exploitative strategy based on the field research and experience

• started playing poker in 2011, took shots to 5k in 2014, since 2015 played nl5-10k games selectively, since 2019 up to nl40k.
• 2020 was my most productive year theory-wise, with about 400 hours of solver study during last summer alone.
• Coaching since 2015 (past 3 years I only coached small groups of players for profit %)

I’m excited to announce that now I’ve got some extra free time and am ready to offer coaching for a profit deal.

Since 2017 I’ve been working with small groups of students with my 50-hour theory (+ 12 practical hours) course that covers all the major topics in 6 max cash holdem summarizing my poker knowledge. With approximately 1 group per year~, it is now going to be the 4th updated version of the course, now available in English for the first time.

There is going to be a lot of work as we start with the basics and gradually make our way to some of the most complex topics in NL Holdem. Before applying, please make sure that this is something you are seriously willing to dedicate your time to. I have been updating and refining these materials for the last few years trying to compress everything into 50-hour theory lectures which would contain all the necessary information to help one make it from nl200 to the highest stakes online.

Please note that besides attending coaching sessions you will have to work with the provided materials alone a lot and this is not going to be an easy walk in the park such as discussing hands with friends or watching mass production videos(which is a total waste of time if you ask me).

I started working with Jayser a few weeks ago. We messaged back and forth before we started and he always answered all my questions and got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. I did one skype call with him where I submitted a list of questions before hand and he did some prep prior to the call to be prepared to answer them. The coaching was very good and I was happy with the value I got from it. I also purchased a video course, simple postflop sims and preflop ranges in png/flopzilla format. The video course is a screen recording of him and a student going over his process for study and other things related to 6max. I would've preferred it if the videos were re-recorded as a monologue to be more structured and concise. There is alot of good info in the videos and having postflop sims that are created by a high stakes regular will save you alot of time vs trying to do it yourself, unless you're an advanced user with your preferred solver. If you already have your own sims/ranges, 1 on 1 coaching with Jayser could be a better option for you.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, it was very valuable for me.
I did not record my algo video in the monologue lecture style as I was not sure whether there was going to be enough demand for it given myself not being active or known in English community as much as in Russian one.
I will correct that mistake in the future.
