I want to learn plo almost from the basics and I will be playing live.
Yes, I would recommend the first course to start which is the least expensive of the two. It goes more into the fundamentals of the game. It is hard to go back to NL once the PLO starts. Good luck with it!

Re: PLO Coach & Expert Video Series (Current And Long Term Winner)

After working a bit with BPC and somewhat recently finishing my first profit split deal with them, I am happy to discuss this as a possibility or hybrid. For what its worth, that player completed the entire challenge in about 5 and a half months winning 60k euros and still retains me for coaching now after the challenge has ended.

Re: PLO Coach & Expert Video Series (Current And Long Term Winner)

I stubled upon this thread a couple weeks ago and ended up getting in contact with kazor.
Im transitioning from live poker(5-10/10-20) into the online games so it was pretty obvious for me i probably had a decent amount of leaks.

We have done 5 lessons now and we already plugged 4 or 5 major leaks and i learned some new concepts.
The way he teaches you is pretty awesome.
He is realy clear explaining some concepts and why the mistakes you make are wrong, but does it in a very respectfull way.
Kazor is very chill and easy to talk to.
A lot of the times we go after the 1 hour mark with coaching and im the one who has to say we should round it up so i dont feel guilty for taking up to much time.

We will see what the future brings but right now taking coaching with kazor seems like one of the best decisions in poker i have made so far.

Re: PLO Coach & Expert Video Series (Current And Long Term Winner)

I took 10h coaching package with kazor. In about 8 of them by now. When we started i was playing mostly plo25, scared to play at 50. Now I believe other people are affraid of me at plo100 which is right now my main game .
My game has improved a lot, now I actually have a gameplan. I am agressive in right spots vs earleir where i would just be agressive in random spots. For first time in Omaha I am actually getting confident in my play and I know where and how I can improve further.
Kazor also doesnt mind if any of our coachings go longer than 1h.

All in all I def recommend him taking as a coach.

Re: PLO Coach & Expert Video Series (Current And Long Term Winner)

I would like to state that I think OP is not being forthcoming about his current capabilities as a player or as a coach and it seems that he is duping many beginners and low stakes players into purchasing his products and services thinking they are coming from a much more qualified individual. Below I will dissect the information he has supplied in the OP as his qualifications for coaching PLO which would be seen by anyone that enters this thread looking for a PLO coach.

Quote:
Current Results:
In 2015, I have won at slightly over 10bb/100 playing PLO400-PLO2k and occasionally higher with PLO1k being my most common game. My last 100k hands including some other variations I ran at ~12.5bb/100

If you'd like more details, I am happy to provide current graph, feel free to PM me for whatever you need.
First of all you are being very unclear about what games and winrates you have, a regular player would very easily be able to state exactly how many hands and at what winrate both actual and EV they had obtained over a certain sample size. These players would also not think that 100K hands is a reasonable sample to judge their approximate winrate on, you also mention nothing about your "EV winrate" for that sample which is a very pertinent stat in PLO. In PLO over small samples like 100K hands you could easily be winning at 12.5bb/100 and have an AIEV adjusted winrate of 2bb or less. These statements about the games he is playing and his winrate in them could be entirely false as afaik OP has never publicly released any of his screennames, which is incredibly rare for a longtime midstakes cash game player, there are also no graphs or stats that would confirm the statements about his stakes and winrate. OP could also very easily be lying to potential students about the screennames he has played under as well as supplying fake graphs and stats of other legitimate winning regulars in those games to them in his private message exchanges with them.

I currently play in the games OP says that he does (400 - 2K) across many different networks (PokerStars, ACR, 888, and others) and based on the information he provided I find it very hard to believe that he is a current regular in those games based on "knowing" a lot of the regular players I am playing against. Quite often when I am playing on smaller networks I will know other regular's screennames on other sites we both mutually play on. What I am saying is that if I have 3 opponents on 3 different sites from the same geographical location as has very similar stats over a reasonable sample size, that it is very likely that all 3 accounts are being operated by the same person so that would be their screenames for those 3 sites. I can't think of any player that matches OP's description based on the games he says he plays and the winrate he says he has that isn't "known" to be someone else. It would also be very rare for a player of this caliber to play 0 volume at those games in 2017 on Stars and as he has said in this thread he doesn't play on Stars.

If OP is not currently playing 400 - 2K in 2017 as his OP states he was "in 2015", that information should either be updated to reflect what games he is currently playing with a confirmation of said games and winrate (graph and/or stats) or be removed entirely.

About me:
• Two-Time PLO Player of the Year on PTR
OP "won" this contest in 2010 and 2011, but this was not a merit based competition for either year. This was simply a contest about who got the most votes and OP actively looked for random people to vote for them to win the award which had nothing to do with his skill as a player. The only qualification to be eligible to be voted on is that you played 10,000 hands for that calendar year at certain stake levels. For the levels that OP won at, "Low Stakes" it simply meant that the minimum requirement for being voted on was playing 10,000 hands at .50/1 over that year.

Quote:
• Very Successful Online Player at PLO200-PLO1k and occasionally higher
This is very debatable and would almost certainly fail peer review from current 200 - 1K (and occasionally higher) regulars on any network. This statement also means nothing if you don't clarify any names you play under, you dont even go so far as to say what site(s) you are playing on which would be the absolute bare minimum information which would need to be released to help confirm that you are a player in those games. For example I dont think there are any players who say they are a 200 - 2K regular on a site that doesn't even offer 1K in 2017.

I would expect that this isn't a lie, but I was not able to find anything upon a quick search of google, this also doesn't really pertain to your ability to coach a winning PLO strategy in 2017.

What you forget to mention is that you made 3 videos... in 2009... for SNGs. This also doesn't really pertain to your ability to coach a winning PLO strategy in 2017.

I would say this is a blemish if anything, it has been well documented about how the owner of that site was also not forthcoming about his current results and at one point supplied a graph from many years prior and tried to pass it off as a current graph. This is very scummy behavior and it appears that OP is doing something very similar in this case, I'm not surprised to see that the two people are working together.

Op should likely be avoided as a coach in PLO unless you want to waste your time and money until he clarifies the points I have brought up.

I think kazor should update this thread and list his 2016/2017 results

YourDoom talks about the 2+2 graph thing around the beginning of this interview...

I am flattered you have come to my thread and taken time out of your busy schedule to read my original post. As you said in your post, you do not know me, which is too bad as it seems like you would be a fun person to be around. For that I apologize. My original post is 100% accurate. That has been the information I have presented my prospective students with for the last 9 years. Over those 9 years I have received 7 full pages of feedback from people who actually received my coaching. I have 100% positive feedback from my students over a 9 year period. Perhaps you did not bother reading that part? I know you might not be appeased but I do not have to appease you. I just have to satisfy the players who actually pay me for my coaching, and I have done so for 9 straight years.

Re: PLO Coach & Expert Video Series (Current And Long Term Winner)

With the way you continue to word the OP you could have played 10 hands in 2016 with your supposed "winrate" and your "last 100K hands" could include hands from as far back as 2008. You also mention nothing about online play so your 2016 and last 100k hand samples could be entirely live play which is a much different and softer environment than those stakes online. Based on your post history it actually does seem that you are a player who plays exclusively live and is trying to pass his 25 hands per hour live winrate off as a multitabling online winrate, I dont doubt there are players who multitable 25 or 50PLO online and have a higher hourly winrate than you, I'm talking your actual play, not the hourly rate you have duped beginning players into purchasing your services for in the past.

Btw thanks for taking 5 full days to post a reply and get your OP edited, you had only been cognizant of my post for at least 4 full days and had logged into 2p2 at least a handful of times before issuing your response. Please also continue to use half truths and deception when discussing anything related to your coaching by using phrases like "7 full pages of feeback" when this thread has only has 163 posts (including this one) and most people have 2p2 set to display 100 posts per page. I highly doubt all of your "students" have actually been 100% satisfied with your coaching, not to mention that nearly everyone who purchased your coaching is a complete novice who would have benefited from hearing stuff like "dont raise AJ72 rainbow UTG."

Based on your response which avoided answering everything I brought up I think it's safe to say that your days of being a "PLO coach & expert video series (current and long term winner)" are all but entirely over. Have a nice day.

Re: PLO Coach & Expert Video Series (Current And Long Term Winner)

I have been a midstakes plo player for a long long time now and have now done 6 sessions with kazor. I have learned more than I could have imagined already. I have always been a bit hesitant about coaching but have to say this has been awesome and well worth it. I feel more confident in many spots and kazor is very easy to talk to and is interested in how I am doing and if I understand everything completely. I will echo what many others have said here that this has been one of the best decisions in my poker career. I do not know what my long term results will be but I am already seeing some improvement in my short term results and am looking forward to continuing.
