After 5 years of coaching, Im so confident that I can help players get where they want to in poker - that i give a 7 day money back guarantee on all my work.

I dont know of a single poker coach that does this other than me. There may be, I just have never seen it before myself.

I go the extra mile when helping others learn NLH, and if people want to bash well I guess God bless them too.

No person can go wrong when they have zero dollars to risk.

Because you can tell in 7 days whether your materials are worth:

$15 for quiz
$100 for quiz review
$120 for 1 hour if you're a 1/2 player

So in 7 days, I could spend $235 and know whether I had gotten the value that I paid for?

Zero dollar at risk?

One bad decision because of your "teaching" could easily translate to hundreds of dollars lost in one session.

And remember when you accused one of your "students" that he was a fake student because he gave you bad review and didn't ask for his money back?

I must admit, I'm pretty darn happy with my return on investment. This year especially, those couple of little adjustments we made for my specific game conditions really helped boost my win rate and confidence.

I just asked for my refund and really hope Bill honors it. He may be a good coach, but it just wasn't for me. I got nothing out of the session honestly. I paid $15 for the quiz and we made it maybe half way through for $100. It would have been another $100 to finish it. Then $120 an hour to actually start coaching. That's super expensive just to get a good feeler for your coach.

The quiz wasn't necessarily exact right or wrong answers, but based on how Bill would play the hands. Another pro could answer the quiz and still get below a "70%" because Bill plays a different style of poker than most.

I will say that Bill was professional and courteous during our session. He may work for others, but as I stated, it wasn't for me.

So I wanted to drop by and give my honest opinion about Bill and his coaching efforts. I've known Bill for I dunno 4-5 years. When I first met him I was barely playing 1-3NL at local home games around town and was a loser on Stars and didn't really play online much. I took his quiz and didn't think it was all that tough. I had already been studying the game for some time but was still a huge under rolled nit. Couldn't understand why I couldn't do well in these home games where everybody played so bad.

Anyways we did a few sessions and I kinda went my own way and started listening to some other people's podcasts and vids about live poker and kinda did my own thing.

Fast forward I moved up and have been playing up to 10-20NL live and was doing pretty well year in and year out for the last couple of years. Went deep in a few WSOP events and felt pretty good about my live game. Well I decided I wanted to check out the online scene again and see if anything was worth taking a shot at.

All this time I've kept in contact with bill thru Skype and emails and I kinda heard about Bovada and Carbon and the other US facing sites. But I hadn't taken a session from him for years. I started playing and crushing on Bovada mainly end of last year.

About mid December I started on a 40 buy in downswing and was questioning my game quite a bit at the beginning of the new year. I was sick and it didn't seem like it was ever going to end. Then after the downswing seemed to be coming to an end I went on a 50k hand breakeven stretch.

I was worn out and tired of it all, and ready to figure out what I'm missing here. My redline was declining pretty bad as well. So I had been talking to Bill but I was skeptical because I was pretty egotistical. Whats he gonna teach me that I don't already know?

I gotta tell you he has an interesting approach to these games and to NL in general that I hadn't really thought about and still while I'm playing I'm thinking to myself how is this working? Lol Its pretty sick really.

Anyways I would def recommend him to anyone having trouble with their game whether you're small stakes (he can teach you the basics) or high stakes (he can help you plug leaks and help you look at things with a new pair of glasses) he has some good tactics that work well.

I'm uploading my graph of all hands played since mid August last year on Bovada. At about the 145k hand mark you can see where my redline hit its bottom. That was the first day I had a sweat session with Bill. Ive done one every week since. You can't beat the value he offers. My redline is now up into the + 2000bb which is pretty crazy if you ask me.

I have recently completed about 12 sessions with Bill and would like to share my experience.

Been playing poker for 6/7 yrs for fun as most ppl do. Started with tournaments as most ppl did and enjoyed the game. As a rec player I was a losing player that was happy to cash in once in a while.

I started to read about strategies and following 2p2 but not everything was making sense to me so I decided to join a study group because I was too cheap to pay for coaching. Study group was a fiasco as I wasn't getting one on one help so I stopped that.

One day I decided that I wanted to become a better cash player as I didn't have the flexibility to play live tournaments and wanted to be able to leave the poker room when I wanted and make some money. I was tired to see some ppl win all the times as I wanted to be one of them.

So after a losing session I told me self that with the money I was losing I could pay for coaching and even if that didn't work, things just couldn't get worse.

I researched many coaches on 2p2 and honestly was sold me on ANL Poker were the quiz, the essays and that fact that Bill specializes in live cash games 1/2, 2/5.

Took the quiz and actually enjoyed it although I'm pretty sure my score is got to be one of the lowest ones Bill has ever seen

I did the quiz review which did take 2 sessions but the quiz is long and we went at a regulars pace. After the very first session on quiz review I felt that Bill had already fixed a thing or two and started to see the game in a different way.

So I signed up for his biggest package deal where I get sessions on skype and email hand reviews. I only did one session a week so this lasted 3 months and for the money is an easy investment.

I would submit hands where Bill would call me out and explain to me why I was playing the hand like a fish and how to fix it.

I also enjoyed skype sessions we would record with files that we would go through together. I would review our sessions and go from there.

Some concepts were easier for me to understand while others I still struggle with. Poker is not an easy game which is why most players lose money but Bill has a good view of the game and I like his strategies.

Since I started to work with Bill I went to Vegas twice and had two winning trips playing 1/2, 1/3 and even ventures out to a 2/5 session on the last trip for a $450 win.

Both trips were 4 days and won $1,500 and $2,000 playing very comfortably. For a losing player those are big numbers and a huge boost in confidence. I had a couple Vegas regulars complimenting me on my game.

I can also pinpoint a couple big moments where the speech play techniques that Bill explained got me paid up in fool!!!

In conclusion I think that coaching is very personable and that a good coach for one player may or may not be good for another player.

If you are willing to put your ego aside, listen to someone and try some of the things you are learning then Bill is your guy.

His schedule is flexible and he does know what he's talking about. I personally don't care about his online graph but what I do care is that now I'm more confident and able to win more money.

Am I losing player? I think so but after 12 sessions I'm closer to small winner that big loser.

The last two vegas trips were a huge success because of Bill. I'm sure the next trips will be just as good if not better.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I had my first coaching session with Bill yesterday. I was very happy with the way it went and have actually scheduled two more sessions for this week. He has a knack of explaining things in a way that anyone can understand. I really like the idea of a syllabus because I learn better with structure. It starts with the basics and moves up to more complicated concepts. I thought the quiz was very interesting to take. We went over half of it yesterday and it really opened my eyes to a lot of things. I look forward to many more classes with Bill and for the money, it's a great value.

Thanks for sharing your history and experience. It was my very first session so had no idea what to expect. He was very prompt with his communications prior to our scheduled session, so he didn't seem like a flakey type. It must have been some factor out of his control I'm assuming. Hopefully all is well and I'll get a chance to reschedule.

Yeah don't worry about it, Bill is a very honest guy. He's always by his computer(usually coaching). Thats why i was just surprised to not hear back from him the past couple of days. Not sure if any of his other clients/students have heard any news from Bill?

Exactly the same here. Was setting up my first sessions this week. All commo before this week was fine. Now nothing for 2 days. Guess he must have had some emergency.

Hopefully we will hear something soon.

As far as I can tell, it's been about 10 days since I can find any posting of any kind from Bill. Here, his website, his Facebook, Skype, email, etc.

Anyone know anything different? More concerned about him being OK than I am about the schooling.

Thanks,
Michael

I've never actually seen him "offline" on Skype. He's been off for the past couple of days now.

Also, the last 3-4 sessions I had with him he had a bad lingering cough. Hopefully that didn't turn into something serious.
