And as a coach of many years, shouldn't you have a sample of larger than 250 hours and 60k hands?

Let's see a larger sample size.

Hello everybody,

I am a 1/2 player who found ANLPoker 6 weeks ago and I just wanted to report my results. Before I do that though, let me tell you about my results before getting coaching through Bill.

I started playing live poker in May of 2013 at the local casino. I considered myself a good player because I won a good amount of money online playing tournaments. But I wanted to win in live games and make real cash. I was a bigtime losing player for the first 4 months. I couldn't handle it so I quit for a month. I tried again and had some mild success before I lost it all back plus some. I took 4 months off this time. I got back into the game, and even stepped up to 2/5 because I had a full time job and I could afford it. Want to guess what happened? I had a little bit of success and then started sucking and lost it all back. In the first year of poker, without any coaching, I lost around 3k plus a lot of hours playing. Probably around 1500 hours or more. My phone is filled with angry audiofiles of myself complaining about the ****ty hands I would get, the coolers, and my bad opponents.

I started getting skype sessions with Bill 6 weeks ago and I have diligently tracked my results. In 188.5 hours I have won $5,599 for an hourly of $29.7 all while playing at 1/2. For the first time in my life, I know that this is no fluke. I walk into the casino with confidence and a strategy that I know works. I know how to break down my opponent's tendencies and outplay them. I am not looking to make big hands. I am only trying to outplay my opponents. It is a fantastic feeling to be in complete control of your game and the table and to make some real money.

I highly recommend Bill Hubbard and his ANLPoker strategy.

Are you related in anyway to the guy AintNoLimit on the WPN network? He seems to be on top of the beast leaderboards all the time.

Do they mechanically 3bet whilst "repping" or would that be too obvious?

Then we started regular sessions where we went over Hand Histories that I take at the tables, and as I have moved up from 1/2 to 2/5, we have continued these Skype sessions. I was averaging about 5-6 sessions a month. And now I continue to do Skype sessions about 3 a month.

When I first started playing poker in the casino ( I missed the online thing, didnt start poker till after Black Friday ) I lost about 3k in my first two months. So I decided to invest in myself through coaching with Bill. I started with 2k, 1k for sessions with Bill, and a 1k bankroll ( 1/2 ). I have never had to add to my bankroll since, building my roll up to 10k in the first 1000 hours ( thats on top of my continued coaching costs ! )

I was a total novice beginner, so we had some hurdles to get over, me with the fact I knew NOTHING, and Bill with the fact he was so far advanced and had to really back it up to get me up to speed .

Its almost laughable now how fast I progressed within the first few sessions. People I feared at my casino, were now switching tables when I would sit down, trying to get to the seat to my left ( those that even understand that concept, that is !), and in general respecting my play. I was known as very aggressive, before I even knew what that meant. I was just following the bet sizing concepts I was learning from Bill.

He has taken the concepts from the advanced online methods, and turned them into a mindset that pretty much totally slays the average live player mind.

I have all of the essays in my I-phone "notes" ( which is where i do my hand histories also ). When I get tilted from a bad beat ( which I really dont even do anymore thanks to Bill ) or I'm card dead, I read them over .......its like reloading a new clip of hollowpoints into my brain !!
If you put the time in, you will be rewarded.

All students would do very well if they followed your "student example", for sure. You worked hard, and made it possible.

I started playing poker for about 5 years. I was getting serious about one year ago and that was when I found Bill. He is a great player and wonderful teacher and he changed the way I think about the game. I really enjoy this mentorship and feel my game improves after every single session.

Now I'm determined to play poker professionally. No doubt it won't be a smooth path, and I can only imaging how many took a shot and missed. It takes hard work, determination, a burning desire to improve and of course the ultimate passion for the game. Everyday we challege ourselves, we combat with our own weaknesses and we build our charactors through the game. Luckily, I have Bill at my side, the road is gonna be tough, but I know I will get there one step at a time with his guide.

Also what are your thoughts on a 2/3 game with 10% rake capped at $15.
Also what are your thoughts on a 5/5 game with 10% rake capped at $15.

How beatable are these games?

Find a different game or run one yourself and rake max $5. Competition in a free marketplace gets the candy.

What kind of hourly could a winning 400nl online player expect in those games? Remember that the rake is actually 10% capped at $20 not $15

Had my first session with Bill on Sunday after taking his quiz.

It was very informative and he clearly explained concepts in a way that made good sense to me. Plan on doing more sessions with Bill.

I would highly recommend him!

If you check the average over the 65k hands, it is 5.4 bb/100.

Now it is over 100k hands, 5.3bb/100 and the redline is nicely run into the positive.
