I had taken Bill's quiz and bought his essays. Was devastated to hear the news.

Is anyone willing to share some of their lessons? He seemed to have a unique approach that, I think, would really resonate with me. I'd be willing to pay, of course.

Interested as well in anything of Bill's that anyone can share. I started reading the thread today and was pretty much immediately interested in booking him. And then I was genuinely saddened upon further reading. I'd never met Bill or knew anything about him before today, but what a man he must have been given all the support and comments in this thread from those who knew him. RIP Bill.

I bought his 40 essays kindle book available on Amazon. Hope to find more of his work.

There are a bunch of YouTubes he made, which are very helpful. I favor his deepstack ideas, as I agree 200BB+ strategy doesn't appear to be available in a lot of places. I could be wrong on that, yet what he taught was and is pretty darn good. Lots of times I find myself deep with players who are "stack unaware" when deep, and we can make some serious profit with knowledge our opponents won't have.

Just found this thread as I'm returning to playing lots of live poker and am actively looking for a coach. Very sad to learn about Bill's passing, but inspiring to hear the positive effects he had on many beyond the poker table.

I found and purchased Bill's Kindle book, but does anyone else know of any other works he published that I can purchase?

Lastly, I'm still looking for a poker coach for live games (1/2, 1/3/ 2/5) as I may be moving to Vegas soon and need to dust off the cobwebs (played 5/10 back in the day but the game has since passed me by).

Bill was a great guy, and coach.

Your father was a master at his craft. There are no other coaches that I know of who took a player like me, who was at best a break even player in 2011, to a full time professional today, with his unique training syllabus that he produced along with all the documents he made that went along with his lessons. Today there are some training websites with tons of video lessons, but they jump all over the place. They also use preflop charts, which your father, (which I agree 100%), always said "You can't use a preflop chart because every player's range you are up against in every situation is gonna be different". I believe that is what separates me from other "pros". I see them make bad calls and bad 3bets all the time because they're probably following some chart they memorized (and these are every day full time pros).

It's because of your Father I'm able to wake up every day and go play poker in a casino which is a lot better than going into an office like I used to do (and make much more money). I owe it all to him, and I'm pretty sure that with all the poker training sites and videos out there today, it just wouldn't have been possible without him. He was truly a master and I think about him all the time.
