Re: Excited to play? So am I! Looking to learn? I can help with that!

I finished a package few days ago with Michael and I only have good things to say about him and his coaching approach. I play poker for a long time, had some coaches in past and Michael is for sure the special one. First, he is not doing this for money! Super flexible, super friendly and about his poker knowledge... his PG&C talks for himself!!!
If you are looking for a coach that truly cares about your improvement he is the guy for sure!
Looking to make more packages with him for soon!
See you Michael!

There are v few coaches imo who actually care about the art of coaching, most of them just want to rely on their skill as a player. He's not one of those guys (and not because he lacks ability as a player). He cares deeply about the art of coaching, so much so that he's paying me 100 per hour to teach him how to coach better. There are very few coaches who would actually make that kind of commitment. I've watched his coaching sessions and I've seen him improve over the months and I think he's come a long way and he's great at what he does and I'm proud of him.

A little background about me for credentialing purposes. I've been a pro poker player for 15 yrs, I've coached 100s and put in thousands of hours practicing and studying how to coach. My 2p2 ad has around 50+ reviews and they're prob the best reviews for a poker coach you'll find.

Factually incorrect , we probably have more than double of that in reviews, but no harm done. Doesn't lower your achievements as a coach.

Either way, no beef with OP, he looks very sympathetic, energetic and motivated in the video and anybody willing to educate themselves further deserves praise for it. I always admire people who push themselves to become better. Peace.

Re: Excited to play? So am I! Looking to learn? I can help with that!

Hello everyone

I've been playing online poker fulltime for about 8 years now, mostly at NL200. When I first approached Mike, I was very skeptical because what I learned form my previous coaches did not meet my expectations. The thing about Mike is...he did not decide to coach because of money, he just loves coaching. He was very helpful to me. Not only in poker, but also in terms life coaching. I'd like to say big thank you for that That really helped me to look at specific things in my life differently (once, we literally talked for 2 hours about my life outside poker before we had a poker session). As far as it comes to poker, it would be no brainer for me to vouch for him. I remember us discussing 2 hands that looked very standard to me, but we ended up going into deep analysis for over 30 minutes without using any poker tools. He is very honest guy. He is not using any standard explanations of strategy. He is open to discussion and really dig into one spot until he's certain you understand correctly. After few hours of coaching with him my red line really shifted, in fact I would like to show you a screenshot of my results before and after coaching with Mike. The sample isn't huge since I'm not really a huge volume grinder, but you can easily see that something in fact has changed. I started to really realize how much I have to learn before I be able to beat midstakes, and I can't wait until I'm able to get coached by him again.

Re: Excited to play? So am I! Looking to learn? I can help with that!

Hey everybody,

I've been working with Mike now for a few years. Since I tend to ramble I'll do my best to hit home the things that actually matter. Over these last several years of coaching Mike has been nothing less than exceptional as a coach. For me, I wanted honesty, integrity, promptness, simplicity, trust, wisdom, friendship (to name a few of the important qualities of a coach), and obviously results. I put my trust into this coaching journey I was about to embark on and a few years later can say without a shadow of a doubt and without fail Mike has lived up to every bit of what I'd wanted and then some. If you're focus is anything like mine and you're not only looking to "move up in stakes" but move up with the abilities or tools to manage every aspect of your poker business, then you need not look further. He's got the tools, the strategies and the results...what more could you want aside from a direct deposit into your bank account from him :P. Anyway, I hope you all will feel the sincerity, gratitude, and satisfaction with which I write this review. Mike has gone above and beyond and has transformed my life in a massive way both in and outside of poker. Shoot him a message, you won't be disappointed with what you receive. ***Side note....Expecting a magic pill is not what this is about. Go into these sessions with intention, know what you want...Id gone into several coaching agreements without this clear vision of what I was after and only when I clearly defined to myself what I wanted did I see the results. Mike is not a miracle worker or a mind reader. If you show up prepared and know what you want and why you want it he can guide you to it. You have to know what you want, ask strong questions, and apply the teachings...practice consistency in these things with Mike as your coach and the results will follow. It's pretty simple and he's designed it that way.***

Re: Excited to play? So am I! Looking to learn? I can help with that!

I've been playing and winning at online poker for over 10 years, and have coached over 50 poker players, including world class players currently crushing the games at all stakes. I believe that Mike can offer substantial value to anyone looking to improve both their poker game and their lifestyle overall. Given the rates he is charging, coaching from Mike is a steal for small stakes players playing any site and I believe he is top of the line when it comes to coaches who are taking an hourly for their services.

Mike and I started working together around 2 years ago. He reached out to me as a player who already had excellent results looking to take his game to the next level. Since then, Mike has thoroughly impressed me with his ascension in the games, willingness to battle and start tables, and open-mindedness. I can say with confidence that his understanding of NLHE is very strong. Even more importantly as a coach, Mike takes teaching seriously. We have regular meetings to this day where we discuss coaching strategy, as well as how he can more effectively trasmit information to his students. His abilities as a coach and poker player are already rock-solid, and I am confident they will continue to grow as time goes on.

Mike is also a friendly and engaged guy. If you are even slightly considering getting coaching from him, reach out for a consultation.
