I looked at your course before I changed a few things beginning of Jan. Went from 40BB to 100BB and now play micro sessions (less than 10 mins) and if winning will get up and play later. So I'm playing fresher and more focused.
I'm currently for 2013 winning 19.1bb/100
Ok that must be a load of variance?
I will be honest I paid for another course (someone else who advertises on here) and although I checked first if it was right for the level/game I play... he said yes... it turned out to be no help as he is coaching / giving examples from high stake games. And most his ideas work in that type of game - rather than the nit fest that my games are. In fact his forums are full of players discussing what adjustments they need to make.
He has put an honest package together. But as he doesn't play lower stakes he has put a package together to beat high stakes. Grrr.
So I'm kind of once bitten here. I don't want to waste more money.
I feel I want to do the course, and I want coaching as I want to move up. I do work very hard at my game.
But maybe while I'm winning so much maybe I will wait a bit before buying you 6max course.
Sorry if you thought I was being smart.
All the best
Hi,
ok, that's cool man. Sometimes i'm not sure as well because some people try to be super smart without really being interested. My time resources are limited, so i pledged to spend it on my students and/or those seriously interested.
Since you belong to that group, you will get the detailed answer that you deserve:
1) Running at 19bb/100 at 6max is very likely to be the good side of variance
But in the end money in the bank is what counts and not whether you ran good or not. Enjoy it while it lasts
.
In any case it seems you're smart enough to provide for times where the hot run might stop and where you want to rely on solid poker skills. One of the tips in my book "Secrets of the Poker Millionaire Mind" is to "always keep improving". So you're on the right track.
2) Other coaches/videos:
I have many students who tried other coaches and they were unhappy.
I never call out a coach in person, because i don't know them in person, nor have attended a coaching of theirs and as such can not judge. I also don't know if they:
a) give bad information and are bad players
b) are a good player with so and so info, but just suck hard as a coach
c) if the student didn't follow their advice
In any case, one coach who i have never heard of nor cared about used to post in my thread and be obsessed with me. So it was kind of ironic when a student posted this:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=525
3) Why you should give my video course(s) a try:
- I guarantee success and improvement if you follow my homeworks. Nobody else does this. And yes, if you don't do the exercises, and want success without doing something, it's not gonna work. Sorry.
- I know my products are the highest quality and i am willing to prove it publicly. No other coach does this. Very few have any good reviews at all. I have many reviews with before-after graphs, huge praise on pokerstrategy.com, awards for the best videos and receive daily emails from people telling me "you changed my life Gordon, thank you"
- I've taken on a student from nowhere (broke, never played a hand of heads up) and lead him to high stakes. I've done this before. Everything is documented and i will do it again.
NOBODY else is doing this. Why? Because they can't.
Ok, you asked me what makes me different from the others. That's it. What you do with it, is your choice.
No matter what, if you want success you have to
- get the right info
- be willing to invest
- be willing to work
Best Regards,
- Gordon
