We still have a lot of work to do, during this time I had other issues that I was fixing such as tilt(which i believe did not mess up my winrate that much because I rarely tilted and when I did I usually insta quit) as a consequence it hurt my volume a bit. But I've improved that a lot. In terms of mentality and other things it looks like its going great now the main thing gordon and I are working on is really crushing the games.

Anyways Im about to play 200NL again (not everyone gets there after the first try and I expect to be able to crush it this time).

If i book 10 session with you what are my expectation. I'm honest with you i dunno if i can beat NL10 i just get mad alot ( not spew but lose my confindece , or something like this) But i crush 6 max sng turbo 15$. So could i beat NL25 at least maybe a bit NL50 after 10 hours with you?

10 Sessions with me should be enough to beat NL25, and probably NL50 as well. This of course assumes you do the homework that i give you (which is not hard, but you have to do it)

BUT, i don't think you should spend money on personal coaching if you have currently trouble beating NL10.

I make more money if you buy 1-1 coaching, but the course is more efficient for you at this stage and following the course should enable you to make the move to NL50 and beyond.

Once you've seen some good results and made some money, then it's time to talk about 1-1 coaching.


(For better comparison: The course costs you as much as one hour coaching with me. The course has however many many videos and you'll have lifetime access + access to the forum)

Hmm, it deffinetly makes sense what you're saying, and if this don't work then with 2,3 1 on 1 coachings it should get the job done. I'm courios why this course don't have anything about 3 bets ? What a 6 max turbo player now about this ... i just 3 shove their asses alot and don't care if they call in manny manny situation. Also i appreciate that you showed me this course you could just say " of corse i will make you a winner at NL25 if you put some effort" and cashed 10 coaching session but instead you showed me the right way ( because i don't like a coach who charging like 30$ a hour or 80$ just my filosofy ) this is way i will assap buy this. A quick questions , since i'm used to 12 tables in my sngs , 9 cash tables should be enough ?

Your question answered:

9 tables are - if anything - to much. The goal is to have enough time to never be forced to just klick without thinking anything.

Some people are very fast. I used to play SNG's as well, so i understand the part about shoving, shoving and .... shoving

Cash is a different animal and longterm it's the best decision. But like with everything good, expect good results, but don't expect them tomorrow.


Why is there nothing about 3bets? While 3bets are part of the game, the topic could deserve its on course. On the other side if you learn the HOW TO THINK part (which i teach), then the way you approach 3bet pots is similar.


In any case, for practical questions (hand histories pls, no theoretical stuff), you can use the forum as well, where i usually answer.

You've klicked on it, so it clearly works Thx for the feedback anyways.

The goal is to inform every person who is looking for coaching and of course then pointing out who talks (others) and then those who provide real, tangible results from students (me).

If it takes a cheesy title to help others, i'm happy!

Genuine question I have a 12bb/100 winrate at nl50 would this course make me a 24bb/100 winner.
Or is just ambitious marketing aimed at small/marginal winners?

I just wanted to explain my story and see if you can help.

I currently live in Murrieta, CA and recently graduated from college last year. I have played poker, recreationally, for many years and have always dreamed of becoming a poker pro.

I have read many books on the subject, both informative and biographical, and have learned quite a bit though those.

I play both live and a little online through LOCK poker. I am a little discouraged though, because my quest in becoming a poker pro seems unrealistic since online poker in the US seems illegal. I don't know which sites, including LOCK , are really the best and I feel like my hands are tied when it comes to moving up levels quickly, especially since I am restricted.

Let me also say that I am a total phish at the tables. I think I'm good amongst my friends, but when it come to online play, I have much to learn.

Basically, I have been on a search for a coach that can help me build that solid foundation right from the get go. From choosing the right poker software, to the right online sites to play, to proper BR management, to deciding which games to play to become a true professional.

All this, keeping in mind that I am a US citizen with limited resources at my disposal. Black Friday came at the wrong time for me, but I don't want to give up on the dream!

I don't know who to trust, coach wise, and frankly, Im not sure I can trust you Gordon. But I have New Years resolution, that my journey to become one of the greatest poker players starts now.

Sorry if this is long winded, but I wanted to make sure you had a n understanding of where I'm at.

we can boil this down to one question:

Are you willing to do what it takes to become a pro? This would mean leaving the US at least for a good time (setting up accounts).
How bad do you want it?

You should read the blog of my protege (link in first post). He probably had a similar situation like yourself. I told him if he wants to go back to the US for 3 months (like he asked me), he can shove our deal into his ass. Why? It would show a lack of comittment and just be a stupid risk in addition to that.


Priorities:

Figure out what your priorities are. Once you know that, the other steps become obvious.

I'm not gonna tell you to get coaching from me, but stay in the US and play on Lock. I have US students, but they are in a different situation / have different goals or already earnt a good amount.


Another thought:

Think future. If you're 60 years old, will you tell your grandchildren that you've

...played it safe, got a (boring job) and shut down your dream and lived an average life...

OR

...lived without regrets, that you've tried many things, failed at some, but in the end you've mastered what you loved...
And most importantly you gave it a try.

Look, i don't guarantee 1000000000 Million in success. But you can find enough students who probably have a worse situation than yourself and had good success.

The only question is, is this what you want?

If YES, the obvious answer is to join, get my courses & coaching. I know there is no better alternative out there.

If you plan on doing this without at least giving it a good try, then you should look for another coach.

ok i think it's ok to give a feedback here. So if i take away the waiting part ( witch sucks ) , i have only one problem , why can i download the videos?. Beside that i just want to say that i spend almost 18 hours to watch the hole videos and do the homeworks and i will do it in a regular schedule ( also i will watch the videos again and again ) , it was just amazing i was unable to stop watching and learning ( my surprise was that the 3 bet part was not left away ). I just want to thank you for the things your sharing and to tell you that you're amazing , everything it's just amazing. ( to bad i don't have a "berore the video grapf" since i was playing sng's but you will see me uploaded an "after the video grapf ").
