1. If I signed up for the micro 6-max game coaching, what would be a good bankroll amount to start with?
2. I am a U.S. based player and the site I play on doesn't allow for HM2/PT4, so I use Holdem Indicator. Will that HUD suffice?
3. I thought I saw somewhere that the coaching is completed once you reach 5,000 euros, is that correct? At what level would you expect a player to be at before they reach it? Or put another way, what is the last level players beat before they complete the coaching?
4. If I go bust I get my 500 deposit back?
Hi, no worries, here are the answers:
1. The bigger, the better - so you can move through the limits faster. Keeping in mind it's your skill which determines when to move up, not the BR. Minimum is $50, everything more than that is a bonus.
2. You can change site, or play with that HUD. Time will tell what's best, some guys are good also on sites with no HUD, but some really become stat oriented. It's definitely a small disadvantage to play without a HUD, but the Micro strategy is not built around HUDs.
3. Yes, €5000. It depends, because many start in Micro, and upgrade to the Crusher program once they develop more. You'd be beating NL50 by the time you finish Micro. Skill might be there for higher, but math-wise by the time you have a good winning sample on NL50 you've hit that €5000.
4. No. But you can keep trying, deposit new $50 etc. There's no limit on trying, and we'll never kick you out for that. It's not like you have 1 shot and done. That said, you won't go bust if you follow guidelines for BR management and strategy. I don't think it happened even once to a student. A couple went bust by having the great idea to gamble it on higher limits one evening.
