Let me start by saying I am no stranger to poker and have been playing for longer than 95% of you have been alive lol. I crush live poker but have been a failure online for the tune of $200k or so. I have the money so it is not as bad as it sounds and I've made a lot more than that live. So I know the game just not the tools and techniques to beat online. When I joined BPC I was told that you can go at your own pace no pressure however that was not the case. They are constantly asking you to update your bank roll and play etc.. and if you don't do every little thing, they say you broke your contract and they kick you out and keep your $500 which they did to me because I trade for a living full time this was not a full-time thing for me and it became too much keeping up with their constant demands. So bye bye $500 deposit then they offer you to join the poker Academy Which they say is a $500 value but you can buy it for $7 a few months ago which I already did. That I found very sketchy. So I really didn't care anymore and I actually bought another product of theirs the spin n go course. I found this course to at least be easier to follow without all the demands as it was just video lessons. So my general experience with the company is that that it was very unorganized and Im sure if I spent a few months figuring out all their demands I could have but it was not nearly as advertised. They even get super anal about posting hands in an exact way. It literally would take me more time trying to remember and figure out the exact format to post a hand for review than it would take me to play the hand over 50 times and figure out the error myself. wtf.
Another thing I found very annoying was Gordon's arrogance and immaturity. Every 20 mins he is saying "I dont give a F about you and what you think, we are so much smarter and better than you just do as we say." , Gordon if you're reading this grow the F up your not as smart as you think you are. you run a silly poker education site and you are not Bill Gates. Nobody really cares what you think either it's not that important. We come to your site to learn poker and share profits not to be dictated to like 5-year-old children mis behaving. This really annoyed me. He will probably retort this comment with something annoying again and blame me rather than accept his responsibility for his immaturity. I don't totally blame him I was 30 years old once too and thought my Sh_t didn't stick either but he is just a child and has no real-life experience yet. In 20 year he will hopefully understand what a tool his is behaving like but that's another long discussion.
I will now turn my critic to the content of the coaching. I will say some positive things now. After a basic understanding of what they are teaching, I did see some good results and very excited I stopped losing money which I was very happy about as it was the first time since I was ever able to do this online. It is just a shame that they are so unorganized and so rude about it because I think if I continued I would be able to do well with their education. One of the reasons I stopped caring was because I learned that I am the type of person that needs a little more hand holding when it comes to all the tools and process of learning online poker so I do not have the will power or time to figure out all the things BPC was demanding of me. I would love to learn more from them but it is just too much effort. I rather find a coach that will spend the time with me and help me with the small details that a man my age needs.
So I'm going to rate BPC as 9/10 for content 6/10 for organization and I'm going to rate Gordon as a little biatch lol just joking I do like him but he is annoying at times. I do believe he means well and truly does want to help people he is just young and still a little too immature to run a business like this. He will get better I'm sure with a little more time and life experience outside of poker.
btw I am searching for a good one on one coach that can contunue where I left off with BPC so if anyone that has been through the program can help please reach out. Cheers
Hey man,
One thing that is clear about Coaching for Profits, is that is not for everyone. Yes, we will push you, yes, we will demand stuff from you. We have to do this, otherwise, things don't get done and if things don't get done and students don't profit at the tables, well, we don't profit. And all business in the world wants to profit!
You talked about losing the security deposit, 500 euros is nothing for us. We want to student to succeed because if they do, we get a share of their 5k, 10k, 30k and 60k contracts, THAT'S how we make money.
And for the students to finish their contracts, well, they need to do what a lot of other students did. Why would you reinvent the wheel when we have a system that has worked before?
You didn't like the system, ok, not everyone like it. That is the reason we offered you the BPC Academy, which is a "soft" version of the Coaching for Profits, without the pushing and demanding, which would be perfect for you! You get the same material, you also get coaching sessions, etc.
All in all, I want to thank you for the feedback. We always appreciate it, since this is what helps us to improve and deliver the best poker education!
Have a great day!
